My go to eyeshadow. This palette is filled with neutral, a good combination of shimmer, matte and maybe metallic? This is a good cheap palette that can be use day or night. Many people rave about it, comparing it to the Urban Decay naked palette. while I always want UD naked, it cost way too much. For a girl who is a rooky and love to play with make up, it is not really wise to get expensive stuff.
Ok, don't judge me. Some of the stuff that can be find in this blog is pretty on the pricey side. But they're mostly bought by my mom or aunt. So that doesn't really count. Plus they would never attest to me buying more eyeshadows.
So after reading many blog posts bout this palette, I decided to go to their website and purchase this, along with a few other items. I was so happy to finally get a dupe of naked that I just stare at it. After a few weeks, I finally decide to actually use it. Yes, I love to buy stuff and not use them.
I am very please with the palette, the shadow and the packaging. It is not at all flimsy. It's sturdy and compact. The brush is useless though so I just chuck it aside. The color is good. Good for office wear or school when you don't want to apply bright colors. Most of the time I use just one color all over the lid.
On cloudy days, I somehow always reach for shade 6, the one on the top most right. It's just a pretty goldie sun ray color. The one I used most is shade 9 and 10(middle bottom row). Shade 9 is just pretty. I do not know how to justify the color, I guess its more of a light brown with a hint of pink? Shade 10 is a dark sort-metallic dark brown, that give your eyes a pop of color, in a plain way.
Just like most people would say, I highly recommend this palette. Especially if you are on a budget or wouldn't want to spend too much on make up. Er and provided you live in the UK. For the rest of us, the website does ship worldwide, but you have to add in shipping fee too.
