Lancome blush subtil rose

My birthday gift from Mom. It's so pretty that months later I still have not touch it.

I love Lancome blush. The color is really good on me and it last. Oh boy, it really does. I do not have to touch up a single time. I can use this in the morning for school, and still have it on during dinner. That how long it can last. Plus I always use so little, but the color payoff is awesome.

I already have the peach one, so I got this in rose. It has a little shimmer in it. Golden little sparkles. It just capture the light here and there. It twinkle, there you go.

Anyway, there are four colors in here. A beige, baby pink, a shade lighter than baby pink and the really light orange one on the right. It is not really that different when swatch, but the beige is more sheer and bring out the shimmer more. The baby pink is surprisingly less opaque than the lighter one.

I guess you can use your fingers and use one of the color, or you can use a proper brush and swirl it all together and apply them on your cheek. Whatever way your prefer method is.

It just has a nice sweet overall look to it. Unlike the color I am more suited to, this is pinkish and actually a nice change than the glow I use to have. More fresh and young. I guess colors really do make a difference. Oh plus the micro shimmer, somehow help too. Pretty dangerous if your skin is really oily. So use matte foundation or setting powder or something!

Updated: Actually the shimmer is barely noticeable after awhile. After four hours, this blush color looks so good on me. It's so natural and makes me look so flush and healthy. Coral looks good at first application but this, it's the later time that makes it really great. I can't take a picture as the color doesn't get capture. But I do have to use at least a light foundation to get the blush to stick. With a plain face, colors don't show at all.

Anyway the usual, easy to blend, last all day, not chalky, not powdery, not matte, build-able and retail at S$60. The SA told me I could just get the refill which is like $45? $40? I cant remember, but next time, I am just going to get refills.

Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Lip Balm

This is in the shade 201, creamy and a hint of light milky pink. I like that it is pretty, but the shade doesn't really suit me. What I like best is that they can engrave your name on the packaging. So it is pretty.

Yves Rocher Organic Vanilla

Christmas set right here. Love the scent. It's like a perfume vanilla. Not like vanilla extract but still quite good. I don't know, there is just something about it that makes me like it. So this set comes with 3 item. The shower puff, gel and lotion.  Silky Lotion is quite a watery lotion. I so used to squeeze bottle from TBS that this feels weird. The plastic is harder, so can't really clamp between my fingers. But the lotion flow out nicely. It's liquid-like and easy to apply. Sometime it feels like pour out to much. I guess also cause the opening is quite big. Blends into the skin and absorb quickly. Doesn't makes the skin feels sticky. Really good. Really love. Shower Gel is also very watery. It's like a thick syrup. But easy to flow out of the bottle. It lathers quite well. But I find that with shower gels is that it is better to use with a loofah. A bit of goes a long way. It will foam up, makes lathering so much more fun and easier. I guess you can alway...
