Coco Mademoiselle

I finally finished up a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle. It's an EDP, so it's strong and therefore just a few spritz is enough to last. The scent is very strong but it will spread out on the skin and it becomes more mild. It is like a powered scent but not those baby powder. It's a very woman perfume. Not flowery, not musky, not sweet and not spicy. It is fresh, but not those out of shower fresh, soap scent I guess; it is also not, hmmm. It smells nice obviously, if not I wouldn't be finishing the bottle, but I just don't know how to describe it.

The composition is focused on two characteristic ingredients of Chanel editions – jasmine absolute and May rose absolute. Delicate flowers are enhanced and enriched with a touch of Florentine iris.

Top notes of Coco Mademoiselle Parfum incorporate Sicilian oranges, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian grapefruit. A floral heart is created of pure rose extract and pure jasmine extract, along with a fruity touch of litchi, while its base notes carry a combination of Indonesian patchouli, Haitian vetiver, Bourbon vanilla ad white musk. This fragrance is dedicated to courageous, brave and modern women who prefer luxury and elegance.

The notes are flowers, but it's not florally. Hmmm I'm so bad at describing perfume. But anyway, this is one the best classic scent that you can use day and night. The kind of scent that will be up there on the top floors of Ion Orchard.

Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Lip Balm

This is in the shade 201, creamy and a hint of light milky pink. I like that it is pretty, but the shade doesn't really suit me. What I like best is that they can engrave your name on the packaging. So it is pretty.

Beauty Uk Baked Blush

A red blush looks really intimidating on the box but I picked this up cause I want something different for my collection. It's just a cardboard box kind of packaging, secured with magnet, so it's really simple. It's quite big and like all baked product, it's dome in shape. So it's actually quite bulky. I wouldn't bring it for travel that's for sure. The color payoff is good, but instead of red it's more pink. You can use it sparingly and it will be lighter or you can pack on the color which will gives you a really bright pink. In fact, if lightly dust over your cheek it is more coral than pink. It has tiny specks of shimmer, but it doesn't show. I can't remember how much I bought this for but it wasn't expensive. It's not my favorite blush, but I find myself reaching for it a lot. So that's something isn't?
