There was the choice of getting the 4 set or the 5. The fifth brush was the flag angle kabuki. I have about these brushes for about 4 years plus now. And they are well loved. Some more than others. F80 Flat Kabuki is my fav. I've used it the most until I can't get rid of the foundation stain. I abuse it quite thoroughly, but it still manage to keep it shape. It's soft and fluffy. Very dense, but airy. It's just more flexible than the rest. While I can use my fingers to make it out of shape, it can also be fix easily.

F82 Round Kabuki is a rounded top brush. Similar to F80, but it's just slightly more dense. Cause this one is not able to spread out as much. I like it, but I tend to grab the F80 more, cause I already stain it.
F84 Angled Kabuki as the name suggest is basically the angles version of the F82. It is thinner, not as round. But I can fan it out also. I can use this for contouring. Or even as a blush brush when the pigment is quite light.

F84 Tampered Kabuki is a giant concealer brush. At least that's how I use this for most of the time. I also will set my undereye with this. I guess I like the pointy brush a it will sit nicely onto the corner of the under eye. It's very soft and fluffy and dense that it is gentle on the skin.
I really do like all the brushes. They are all of good quality. Doesn't shed when washed. The only complain I have will be I can't seem to washed it clean. Maybe it's my cleaning or my soap. But I used all kind of methods trying to get rid of the foundation stain. Nothing works.
Anyway, these are buffing brushes. So it really depend on what kind of foundation I'm using, it will gives me different result. I guess it's the foundation. Where there will be streak, I will tend to use my hand. That time, I don't have a beauty blender to apply. So actually the fingers is still the best way to blend foundation. But on days when everything feels right, these works wonder and just give a polish finish. I like them either way. At least it's gentle on the face.
If you don't have one and want to try one. I think anyone of them is fine. You don't really have to have all. It's all roughly the same.
