I gotten this for Christmas two years ago. It's still pretty brand new. I kept switching my eye brushes, that sometimes these do get neglected. I usually only use the shader lid, shader crease and blending brushes. My personal fav is the blending. It's the right size for my eye socket.
This is a 8 pieces eye brushes set that is made slightly smaller than the normal Sigma eye brushes I believe. It's like the pro version and it's meant for creating more detail and precise eye looks. I like this cause it's just smaller so everything fit my lids better. I think it's quite good for people with smaller eyes. Ignore the price, it's a good quality set.
The brushes I hardly use are the eye liner, which I think it's the same as the normal eyeliner brush, tightline and waterline. I didn't know they got like different design for different line. Cause the way I see it tightline is slightly broader than waterline liner brush. But ok the work really well. The tightline brush is quite stiff but soft. So you just have to put and press to get the liner there.
The smudge brush is nice cause it's tiny. I love it. Really good for smudging undereye. Its size is good for not taking so much pigment.
The blending brush is my fav as I said. It's fluffy and soft. It's easy to have control using this. I wish I can have more of this. Then again, most blending brush is my fav kind of eye brush.
Inner corner is a smaller version of the shader lid. It's nice to have something small for the inner corner. I find with these brushes, I really do use them as what they were really intended to do. Or maybe sometime I will use it to line my eyes.
For the shader lid brush, I will use for the whole lid. Then taking the edge of the bristle as it's quite dome shape at least on one angle I do use it for my outer crease. I will use a darker colour and brush it across the outer crease. That way I can use just one brush to do my eye makeup.
Lastly, the crease brush. I prefer the blending brush for my crease as this can be a bit harsh. For some reason there is a hard pokey thing when using this as a crease. It's like as if it's not fine enough. It's not that bad, but it can get uncomfortable. I guess cause of its shape. It is slightly if not very faintly pointed. It is a dome shape obviously but it just has a bristle that is not quite refine. But again I like how it is so small making creasing easier for me.
It's a really worthwhile gift I have received thus far in my life. I don't know how much this cost now. But I think it was $108 then. Or maybe slightly below $100. I find that Sigma brushes went up a lot from the olden days. Oh well still a good buy. Until I can find some other smaller eyes set.
