Naked Basics 2

I wanted the Naked palette, just like most girls. I don't even care which one. But there are many dupes of them in the market. So I was thinking, maybe I should just get the basics as I do want a matte palette. So I finally cave and bought one. Was contemplating between the 1 and 2. Finally I bought 2 cause I don't really use black as much. 2, the darkest shade is just dark grey, which not as dark as the 1. Even though this is a cool palette, I still feel that I will use more of all these shadows as compare to the basics 1.

The colors are:
  • Skimp - pale nude satin
  • Stark - nude-pink matte, not much pink
  • Frisk - warm gray matte
  • Cover - muted red-brown matte
  • Primal - muted brown matte
  • Undone - deep, smoky charcoal matte

Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Lip Balm

This is in the shade 201, creamy and a hint of light milky pink. I like that it is pretty, but the shade doesn't really suit me. What I like best is that they can engrave your name on the packaging. So it is pretty.

Beauty Uk Baked Blush

A red blush looks really intimidating on the box but I picked this up cause I want something different for my collection. It's just a cardboard box kind of packaging, secured with magnet, so it's really simple. It's quite big and like all baked product, it's dome in shape. So it's actually quite bulky. I wouldn't bring it for travel that's for sure. The color payoff is good, but instead of red it's more pink. You can use it sparingly and it will be lighter or you can pack on the color which will gives you a really bright pink. In fact, if lightly dust over your cheek it is more coral than pink. It has tiny specks of shimmer, but it doesn't show. I can't remember how much I bought this for but it wasn't expensive. It's not my favorite blush, but I find myself reaching for it a lot. So that's something isn't?
