RT Expert Face Brush

This has officially becomes my favorite foundation brush. It really is worth the hype. It makes blending so much easier and just buff in so smoothly. It gives a beautiful finish with no streaks. When I find foundations that are drying or hard to blend, I will use this. It helps so much and makes applying foundations fun. The brush doesn't have fallouts. A couple when first wash, but that's it. It is dense and soft. It is a doom shape brush and the handle can stand on its own. It can be use as a cream blush brush or use the side as a bronzer brush. I think most brush can be a multipurpose one and this one is no different. But I still think it is best as applying foundations. It really is the best foundation brush I find and I highly recommend it.

YSL Contour Expert

Reshaping and lifting creme SPF 10 This is a very thick moisturizer. It's also rather oily, so I really don't like that. Even though they say can be use for all skin type, even sensitive skin. I don't see how it can reshape and lift, when I don't feel anything when applying this. Maybe there is a science behind it, but frankly I am not interested as it made my skin oily.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Mineral Setting Powder

I really like the packaging of this powder. It has a mirror and it can be brought out with ease. Most loose powder are a mess to use, but this one is manageable. This is not colorless, but I did pick up the less intensity of 2.0. It still shows on the skin though. So I don't really use this as a setting powder, but I tend to use this one on its own. It gives a light coverage but enough to go through the day. It has SPF which is always good. Loose powder last forever so it's good. This is $60++, I don't remember the exact price but it's worth it.

Plumping lip gloss in Peach Shimmer

Loving this baby pink. Loving the plumping effect. In fact I feel really sad once the tingling stop. This is by far my favorite plumping lip product. I've only tried a few though. I am not sure if I love the pink or the plumping more. I guess if it's just as a pink gloss, I wouldn't have love it as much. The packaging is quite sleek. The wand I don't like as much. It's wobbly. Cause the tube is tall, so the wand is long and not so stable. But it still work. The applicator is just a doe foot. Nothing special about it. The color is opaque on its own. However a few coats is needed to get that. It can also be use over lipstick. But I find that only nude and pinks will look alright. I do like the tingle on my lips. And whether it helps with lips look bigger, that I don't know. My lips are not small and not big, so it doesn't bother me much. I never really pay attention how this makes my lips look. Cause it doesn't bother me and not the reason why I use this. ...

BLV

The cold accords of ginger, pure freshness of gorgeous wisteria and translucent musk are in harmony with the warm depth of sandalwood, feminine sweetness of flax flowers and softness of vanilla and acacia. This perfume was created in 2000 by Alberto Morillas . I got this in a set, that's why packaging is kind of different from normal. I do like the scent, but as EDP, it's very strong. The worse thing is, I will get a headache after awhile. Especially when I'm in the car. It seems that enclosed places will give me the nausea. When taking the train, it will be fine. The headache isn't that bad and it will go away eventually. So if I really think about it, I shouldn't put myself in pain with this. But I just don't want to waste it.

Cle de Peau base de teint

Smoothing base for lines. I think I'm allergic to primers. I have to be extra careful when applying foundations over them. Instead of having better cover, it will be more streaky. Even though this is suppose to be for lines, I feel that it does nothing for them. The lines are more obvious. So I have to put on more effort in putting my foundations. If not it will be really cakey. The primer do helps to make my foundation last longer. So that's nice. It's also a white beige cream which sheer out to be clear, almost silicon type but it's not. It's ultra smooth so it's nice. It doesn't smooth out a base on my skin, so it kind of useless in my opinion.

TBS Rainforest Balance

Bought these for traveling. The balance is for oily hair, and I really wanted to try TBS shampoo. The shampoo: I don't like this. It gave me dandruff. My scalp was itchy all night long. For an oily hair shampoo, this only last for awhile. I got oily after a day. Well most shampoo will too, but this is really bad. The conditioner: horrible! This smells quite weird actually. I also feels that the conditioner just slide off my hair. It just didn't do anything to and for my hair. So I don't think I'll be trying anymore TBS hair stuff, but I so want their banana scented shampoo. Fickle minded indeed.

Peach Parfait Lip Butter

When the lip butter first launch, I wanted Peach Parfait so very much. But I kept putting it off and end up picking something else. So I finally grabbed it just so I will stop fixing my eyes on it whenever I'm in Watsons. The colors in tube seems innocent enough. Really peachy, looks shimmery and very pretty. When swatch, it is very glittery. An orange coral tone that shine like a gloss. I've read reviews and seen mix feelings on it. I guess I can understand why. The color is rather pigmented and very sweet. However when you apply it, it is very soft. The product itself is soft. The color won't be the full color on the lips. It's also very glittery to a point that it is almost gritty. But it's still beautiful. It stills feel nice on the lips, just that if you want the opacity of the color, you have to apply a lot. Argo the gritty texture. See, it looks like it's very glittery, but the color is nice. It isn't my top lip butter, but it is still good.

Elf 32 Piece Eyeshadow Palette

I am curious about ELF product, so I bought the 32 shadows palette. This cost me US$5 from iherb. Elf is suppose to be a cruelty-free brand. I know that China has the rule that cosmetics have to go through animal testing before it can be sold there. So if it's made there, would it has to be tested on animal too? I don't get why it's made in china when there is the no animal testing. Or it's just the packaging that's made there. Or has the rule change? Hmm. But anyway take a look at the shadows. From the swatch you can conclude that not all of them are the same. Some is more pigmented, some is powdery, some can't be seen. There's a good mix of shimmery and matte shadows. But it's not really matte also. Maybe only the 6th (primary brown) on the first row. That's the only one is matte. The rest has a bit of sparkle, but can't be seen. At least it's smooth to the touch. The shimmer shadows, some are ok and some are not. Its coarse to the touch th...

Advanced Génifique youth activating concentrate

I just know that there are so many youth activating concentrate. I mean so many Genifique. There's the advanced, there's the concentrate, there's the none and the different kind depending where it's made. I was searching online for the cheapest place to buy this, and there were just too many version. This is the advanced concentrate. I have the samples and travel size ones. I don't see much difference between this and other(s) . I also can't see much what it does for my skin. Maybe it's prevention, but I wouldn't know. I don't think I will buy the actual full size. As I feel that they keep giving out samples with this one. And that it always come out with new version. But I do enjoy using them.

Shu Eumura Face Architect Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation

I just can't seems to get the right shade for foundations. However, I've just splashed them all over my face without remorse. It's the life. I've been using the Skin79 BB creams and I've been enjoying them a lot. I just can't help but try out new foundations. In this case it's the Face Architect foundation. This isn't mine, but my cousin doesn't suit this, so she passed it along. I just gladly take it as it's an excuse to try and review them. So here it is and I like the packaging first of all. There is a pump which is great and the bottle is just a frosted glass which fits my hand comfortably. This is in the color 764 medium light beige. It's a tad yellow for me. The foundation itself is a pretty full coverage. I only need a little dot for my whole face. It's quite thick but quite liquidity and easily blend. Cause it's yellow, it brightens up my face quite nicely. It's not a matte finish but not that dewy too. I have to powder it...

Ck Precocious in Fully Delicious

I didn't really know that CK has a makeup line. Anyway I got this free from purchasing at strawberry.net. It's a cool website that sell makeup, skincare and perfumes. Really have to look out for deals though, cause the prices are considered cheaper but I still find them a tad ex. I don't like the lip gloss plumper. It's not plumping enough for my liking and the packaging is just horrible. As in when you remove the brush, there's isn't a stopper to get rid most of the product. So there will be just too much gloss on the brush. I like the brush though. Ok this is a horrible picture, but there you go. It doesn't show any color on the lips. So practically just a clear pink gloss. You can use it over lipstick, but you have to remove most of the product in the tube first.

Benefit They're Real!

When they're real mascara first launch or it was still pretty new then, I was in HK. I did not want to spend so much money in other currency, so I did not buy them. Anyway, it was quite pricey, when my fav Anna Sui mascara then was only half the price. But I was still intrigue that a mascara can promise fake lashes look. A few years later, I got the mini mascara. I am not sure how I feel about it. I love the wand. I love the tip of the wand. It makes getting into the corner of the eyes easily. At the same time, the wand is kind of big. And I wish it were smaller. When I first use it, I don't like the formula. I don't like the formula for a long time. When it finally becomes more dry, it finally works for me. As you can see I do have to curl my lashes for it to actually be nicely done. It doesn't curl for you. I find that it doesn't hold the curl very well. It is also very crisp and I don't like that. I have to be careful not to touch my eyes or my lashes will st...

TBS tea tree oil facial wash

It just makes my face really clean. They said its good for oily, acne prone skin. It doesn't work as well for me. The oil control was not that wonderful, and I still have pimples on my face. So this doesn't help much. I do know it works though as its one of my cousin's HG product. Just not for me.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

I always want a dry shampoo, so when they finally enter Singapore market, I get ultra excited. I only purchase the smallest one to try out. It cost $4 for 50ml. And it just finish really fast. In UK, when it's on sale the 400ml cost me $5. I wish I had purchase more, but I refrain myself. So I got the 400ml tropical which is coconut and exotic and 200ml medium & brunette. They do not have the dark hair one. The 50ml is just the original. As I said, I tried out the travel size and I really like it. It helps to boost up my flat hair and makes it less oily. I want dry shampoo for the purpose of going to the beach in the morning. I have oily hair, and will wake up with that. If I take a shower, go the beach, then I will have to shower again when I come back. I want to prevent that. So Batiste has helps me so much. It is also great to add volume especially for dinner. It helps control the shine longer so it has been a lifesaver for me, socially. The tropical one is quite weird the s...

Maybelline color sensation

Maybelline color sensation in Pink Bloom. This is still in the old packaging, if anyone remember? Bought this in Batam, as the lipsticks there are still the older version. i guess thats why it's much cheaper, for SG$5 I think. I pick up this lipstick purely for the name. I have no idea it will be a pink with coral undertone and a pearl finish. It's really pretty. It's also not so pigmented. Not exactly sheer but it can be build up. And I really like the glossy finish. You don't have to put gloss on top of it. One problem is that it is too soft and melts. I have to melt it all up and put it in those mini container. It's really hard to capture the color on camera. It's really nice on the lips. But since its in container form, I don't really feel like using it as it gets troublesome to apply. Cause this doesn't last long, and I have to reapply it, I just don't use it. Really a pity. I guess I don't love it that's why.

My Night Time Routine

Happy new year everyone. I will start this year with a post on my night time skin care regime. I will start with makeup wipes. I bought this in Daiso. Daiso has so many different type of makeup wipes and I will eventually try them all. For $2 I start with this wipes. It kind of remind me of wet tissues. It is really wet, so if you use this in air con room, it's really nice and cooling. The wetness is good for removing makeup including waterproof mascara. I really like that, unlike wet tissues. It comes in 30 sheet per box, really nice for a monthly wipes. Then I will wash my face with Cle De Peau Creme Demaquillante , which is basically a cleansing cream. I really like it. It removes makeup really well. If I forgot to use the wipes, I will just use this and it removes my makeup just as well. This doesn't hurt my eyes, so it's really good to get rid of waterproof mascara. It leaves my skin soft without needing to use actual cleanser. After brushing my teeth and stuff, I will...
