I got mine in 101 black black. This is a non waterproof mascara. It states that it builds a natural to dramatic look with super lash separation. I like the packaging as it gives me a sense of security. I guess it's the capping. The wand is a normal bristle which is triangular. Reminds me of a Christmas tree. That is fun.
As you can see, not much difference are seen. It's like you are not putting any mascara. Although in person, it's darker than not having mascara. But it doesn't lengthen or volumise the lashes. It's true if coated more, it can give of a dramatic look, but it clumps the lashes. So I just coat them normally and it looks natural. After 5 hours and a eye rub, you can see its fading away.
It doesn't hold the curl very well. I guess most non waterproof are. I rather wish its waterproof as Singapore weather is humid.
It is a tad dry formula but for some reason it always smudge my eyes. Especially the left one. And it always smudge my top water line too. It just makes it weird as I don't use eyeliner or tight line my eyes. So it's a difficult mascara to put on. I really wish it separate the lashes but most of the time it just join 3/4 lashes together at the end. I have to always use the comb to separate them.
Probably one of the product I regret buying. For the price I paid, which is $8.50 during sale, it's not worth it. It's slightly better than MUA mascara, which is $2.
Updated: after putting off this mascara for a while, I tried it again as I just want to finish it. Still same result until the fourth day. I guess it got wetter for some strange reason. I am still not sure what formula I like in mascara. Cause only now then I really start paying attention. Anyway, it became so much better. It actually build my lashes to a dramatic look and it doesn't clump. Well not if you put three coats on. Two coats is good. It just make my lashes look fuller and darker. And it curl it! I still have problem with smudging on my left eye though. So still not a favorite, but it's a much better mascara than the first few times you wear them.
