Clinique derma white city block anti-pollution SPF 40, I wish I had this during the haze period. It's a nice sun screen with skin color, so it doesn't give off a white sheen. I rather like it on its on. The only downside, my skin will be oily after 3 hours after use. If not it will be a good sun protection cream for me. But it's still really good.
Got a sample of Clinique pore refining solutions instant perfecting makeup foundation #63 fresh beige (combo to oily). I have a love-hate relationship with this. Some days it's the perfect foundation. Some days, I had to remove it completely and start over. The color match me rather well (before the tan). But for a pore refining foundation, it made my pores more obvious (on bad days). The foundation is quite thick making it hard to apply to the face. You have to warm it up before it can blend better. A little is all you need. If I put a little too much, it caked up. Oil control wise, it wasn't bad.
Then I use YSL sheer and pearly powder foundation to set the foundation. I just like sample powder. The packaging is so cute and compact. It is a great powder, especially if I do not want to appear matte. A pearly finish is rather nice sometime.
ZA eyes vibrante in E7 is very light and neutral. I like this as even though the colors are pretty light, it is still a good pigmented shadow.
MUA eye brow pencil in blonde. This is too light for me. I read a review where they said the blonde is quite dark. So i picked blonde instead of brunette. It's a light taupe shade, very waxy, good at putting brow in place. It wasn't bad, just the color can be better. To make it work, I just lightly draw on.
MUA blush in shade 4. This is a nice peach color blush. The packaging is quite small and compact, great for on the go. A good value for money blush. I wish I had pick up more of them.
Other things(not in the picture) I brought along:
Canmake gokunobi mascara - Another new tube, I really like this.
H&M bronzer - I am getting the hang of using a bronzer.
Nivea lip butter - You gotta moisture those lips at night.
ZA lipstick - I can't decide on what lipstick I should bring. With this, its lipstick, with the added shine without needing a lip gloss so its really good.
As you can see, it's not much. Future posts will feature the skin care products I used during those trips. I brought along mostly samples. I travel light, cause I know I'll be running about under the sun, so I do not bother much. True enough, its just the perfect amount of makeup I need. I still can even do without either blush or bronzer. And I can remove the eyeshadow and the foundation altogether. Oh, for every trip, I forgot to bring concealer.
So, I don't know why I have so much makeup at home right now. When obviously, I do not really need them on a day to day basis.
