Sunsilk hair fall solution

I've been using this conditioner forever. It doesn't smell horrible. But it doesn't have that fruity or flowery scent that I would prefer. I'm so used to this that it became my conditioner smell and I don't know how to describe it. I also have the hair treatment. This is to be left on for 3 minutes, like a mask. Unlike the conditioner which is to be left on for 1. But it just gives you the softest hair after. Both smell the same. The conditioner is more user friendly with the tube. But if you want softer smooth looking hair and don't mind the wait, you should use the treatment. Well, use it only once a week. Its much more richer than the conditioner though. Oh and cost more by $2. But after using that, you can ignore the conditioner for 3 days. Cause your hair will be as smooth as when you applied conditioner. Well for me at least. I was born with annoying only to me soft smooth hair. But hair product and stuff kind of spoil it (e.g. curling my hair). So now I ...

Silkygirl duo eyeshadows

During one of the social dance performance, our makeup require us to wear black and white shadows. So I found this. The packaging is simple and compact. It has a tiny sponge brush, which is useable. This is Ying and Yang . The colors are rather powdery. As pigmentation goes, it wasn't bad. The shadows sadly doesn't last very long. Maybe at most 2 hours? Using primer helps though. Without it, the colors fade easily and it just smudge badly. Considering the black is so much more stronger than white, the latter cannot be seen at all. Then I couldn't resist picking this at the same time. I choose Smokey Spark as I like the colors. It's smokey silvery better than the others. There are many duos to choose from but I got my eyes on this. The pigmentation is slightly better than the black color, but staying power is roughly the same. It just smudge off easily. Rather disappointed considering brands like MUA selling £1 shadows. I'm spoilt, cheap and picky. I don't think...

Full of promise samples

Treatment serum for uplifting days is rather sticky. It's just a normal cream like texture. Not a fan, as I said its sticky. Takes sometimes to dry. So not really good for my routine. Totally different from the night serum. It leaves me shiny too. Treatment serum for volumizing nights . LOVE IT! It feels like a solidified gel oil. But once it's gone it's gone. As in it doesn't leave behind residue unlike oil. It's so unique, really fun to put on. My skin feels really smooth. It leaves my skin looking matte. The best part was, I woke up with a clean, non oily skin. Totally matte. But I did sleep with a bit of air condition. I have to get another sample and test it out before committing to this. My skin feels really moisturize that I did bother with moisturizer. It's just really cool. Really loving this. I am 80% sure I will get it, once the rest of the night serum is gone. Cause even with moisturizer, I still wake up with semi matte face. It's like the produ...

Vaseline healthy sunblock

I thought this will be a moisturizing sun block. As its from Vaseline, I was hoping that it will be a body lotion with SPF. I was wrong. This is so hard to apply. Just like normal sunblock where it's kind of drying and goes on hard. The smell though is lovely. Unlike sunscreen scent, it smells like any regular Vaseline body lotion. It isn't terribly sticky. So it's good to apply before going out. But I just wish the application can be smoother. As during holiday, you just want everything to be hustle free and done as quickly as possible. At least its water resistant, so no problem going to the beach. But next time I'll buy those spay on one.

Acnes 3 step kit

A little sample, great for traveling. It came with a cleanser, toner and spot treatment. The toner is great. It's a powder lotion. So like there is powder in the toner. Kind of weird, but really nice. It helps to absorb excess oil. The cleanser kind of drying, but wasn't extreme. Clean well, remove makeup. Spot treatment is really effective. It's painful when put on spots. But really good to keep them in check. I have two sets of these, and only the two toners remains. For some reason I can't finish them. Really strange considering toner usually the first to be gone.

Sexy Look Ultra Whitening Duo Lifting mask

Enriched with Pearl Barley and Hyaluronic Acid to brightens and smoothens skin while give it ample moisture. Oh dear, I have such a chubby face. Anyway, this mask is just a mask. I like the fact that it has the hooks. I feel more secure that way. That's pretty much the only thing about it. It doesn't really moisturize my face, as what it claim to be. I guess I tried others that did better jobs on moisturizing, so this is a let down. It also doesn't whiten my face. I don't see the "brighten" effect. The only time I like to use this is in a really cooling room. It feels like you put on cool wet towel on your face. But I can do that with regular towel, I don't need to pay so much for masks. So ya, not a fan.

Murad intensive wrinkle reducer for eyes

It said with durian cell reform. Durian! I am just excited to try this for the durian. Such a fruit can also be use for skin care, it's just beyond something. I'm speechless. It's interesting. For the eye cream itself, lets see. I have been having dry patches on the high point of my cheek(the spot where you put on highlighter). For some reason, the Kiehl's samples made it red and obvious. So I've been religiously putting on eye cream every time I'm not using makeup when I look at a mirror. This is really hydrating. Even though the scent can be off putting. Not that it smell like durian, which would be nice, it's more like herbal scent, and I don't like that. The texture is like facial wash, where there is micro beads but doesn't feel like it. I'm suppose to put this onto the brow bone and beneath the eyes. For a wrinkle reducer, I don't see any difference. I don't feel it tighten my eye area either. Strangely when I put it on the back of ...

Kiehl's samples

Ultra Facial Oil-free Cleanser is something I do not like. It strip off the moisture after you use this. It's oil-free but really drying. It cleanse well, but doesn't give my face a nice feeling. Ultra Facial Oil-free Gel Cream is a gel like consistency making applying moisturizer fun. It gives off a matte finish. Moisturizing, refreshing as gel tends to be cooling and makes face feels really smooth. Love it. Calendula Herbal-extract Toner is a strong toner. A little goes a long way. Not a big fan of it. It makes my dry area appear red that 3 layers of thin foundation doesn't cover it. Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution This, you apply all over or just on certain areas. I don't see any major difference when using this. But it feels nice on the skin. So I don't mind so much. Additional steps to make my face better, I say bring it on.

Summer Travels Makeup Product

So I went for a few mini vacations this summer. Mostly to places where the sun is scorching hot. In other words, places like Singapore. I couldn't be bothered with makeup, but I just brought along a few things. I got this makeup bag for free with purchase of theBalm products.

Bloglovin'

I have to put this up in order to link my blog to Bloglovin. Just trying out to see how it all work out. I guess follow me there too. Thank you. Follow my blog with Bloglovin Since this is a random post, I wanted to add that I am doing a 3 mth No Buy. The day after I decided, I bought a bunch of stuff online and I justify it as my birthday gift to myself this year. So after that day, I am more determine to do a No Buy. So I guess it will be starting from this date. It's a start to stop hauling. I also am doing project 5 pan. I mean that's the purpose of this blog in first place. But these days I seem to have collected more stuff. And I kept alternating using different products and trying something new before the old one is finished. So I am determine to finish 5 items. Hopefully ASAP, or not in 3 months. The items are my ZA base, ZA lipstick, MUA lip plumper, Kiehl's lip balm and TBS body lotion.

Clinique 3-step program

The make up remover is not one of the step, but I did not try the cleanser. I do not like this remover as you have to rinse it off. I rather get a proper all in one cleanser if I were to use water anyway. The second step is tone. Clinique has 4 types of toner in this range. The one here is no.2 which is for dry combination skin. So this is the wrong toner for me. But I just used it and it is really drying. I do not like it. Shouldn't for something claim to be for dry combination be more moistening? I've read reviews and its not me. People do find it drying. Next up is the dramatically different moisturising gel. I kind of feel hydrated using this, but at the same time I am scared it will turn oily really fast. And true enough, it does just that. I am glad I got to try my cousin's stuff, as this just do nothing for me. My cousin has sensitive skin though, so this work just well for her.

Jane Iredale sugar and butter

I like how this is call sugar and butter. Cause the scrub is sugar and lip plumper feels like butter. I never read that it's a plumper, I just use them. Then 5 seconds later, there is a tingling feeling on my lips. I kind of like it. It's one of the stronger tingling feeling I've experience. It feels really smooth too. Makes rubbing your lips together really nice. The exfoliator is rather thick, compact, dense and hard. Strangely it transfer onto lips rather easily. I go over my lips with it then use my fingers to scrub it. After 10 seconds, I wipe it off using a tissue or wash it off. I find cleaning it with wet tissue is best as the sugar will transfer onto it. Really like how it turn out. Somehow it makes my lips look bigger and well more plump. Love it. The color is nothing special. It's just a hint of neutral pink. Really soft, and it's just pretty much a better color of your lips with a tiny frost finish.

Laura mercier eye brow pencil

This is dark and really creamy. As you can see, the intensity can be varied depending on how much you press on it. I like that this is really is brunette. Its more of a taupe, not so grey, not so brown. No hint of redness whatsoever. The prefect color as it remind me of A mixture of my ZA brow pencils. However, this has better color payoff so you have to use a gentle hand to fill in your brows. You can always build it up but for daily I don't like to have dark brows. So I just use this on special occasion. The pencil is also in soft triangle form, different from the round pencils I have. It has a good amount of wax, so it keep your brows from going everywhere. But the thing I love it most is the fact that it stays. It just stay on forever until you decided to take it off. The longest I tried was for around 14h, which is really not bad at all. Oh you have to sharpen it though, which is the only hustle. But I can live with that.

Shiseido benefiance wrinkle lifting concentrate

I really would like to love this. I am so afraid of wrinkles. I have them, especially when I raise my brows. Cracked lines form on my forehead. It's scary. I thought this will help. I read review where they said after using for 6 months it help. 6 months! This sample is only 6mL. So I see no difference. No tighten feeling. It's light, watery, smell like florals but rather oily. I do no like that for it cause oiliness. Maybe for dry to normal skin people will be good. Oh well, I like the color of the packaging though.

Canmake cream cheek

My first cream blush. Canmake cream cheek in 08. This was highly rave by a friend. So I had to try it. The packing is rather cute. Small and compact. The color is pretty too. It's a soft pink with golden micro glitters. I like touching it. It's just so smooth and soft and well, creamy. These are the colors. The one of the right is the true color at how the color will appear. The left one, it true too, but the color just get wash off by the phone. While I love the color, I think it will be better if it doesn't have shimmer in it. I rather like a matte blush as I have oily skin. So I guess I choose the wrong color, but it's ok. Application is rather easy, just use your fingers and apply. But, yes there is a but, I find that it doesn't blend into my skin well. I don't see anyone else having a problem with cream blushes, but I do. I haven't try with a stippling blush which people say its the easiest way to apply cream, but I don't have one. The colors doesn...

Cleansing wipes

I do not like this at all. It just smell funny. Even though my face do not have a problem with this, I just don't like it period. It is a bit drying. It doesn't remove makeup as good. Plus it just kind of smell weird. There is texture on the sheet, I don't know if you can see that. This is indeed a daily essential. I use this everyday either to remove light makeup or just cleanse. I am as I have said before a lazy person, so I like to use wipes to clean my face. I try my best to clean my face properly, but sometime on those draggy days, you just want to be clean fast. The texture sheet helps to softly exfoliate the stuff off my face. So it's really good at doing its job. I mean I'm sure there are better cleansing wipes out there, but I am happy with this. I just wish it can remove heavy makeup. This is for removing dirt and de-shine your skin for a clear matte complexion. As it said Teen Care on the packaging, I'm guessing its for teens who don't wear make ...

First Impression: Korres day cream

I rather like this day cream. It's very watery yet creamy. It absorbed really well onto the skin and surprisingly gave a rather matte finish. More like half matte. Wasn't a bad moisturizer. Especially it came with its own SPF. I like that's its for wrinkles too. But only a sample, can't see it's effectiveness.

MUA lip liners

As time passes, I get to try more products. I always think lip liners are not necessary but once you've tried you realize how good they are. You can use them as a base color. Sometimes it will help to alter the color of the lipstick. You can just use a clear gloss over it. You'll have instant color gloss. It helps to prolong your lipstick. As your lipstick fade away, the lip liner will sort of still be present on the lips. Your lips will still has color. Lip liners are of course use mainly to shape and define the lips. It also helps to stop lipstick from bleeding (going outside of the natural lips). Such a good makeup item I think everyone should have. I have here Softly Lined , the lighter pink and Pink Me Up , the darker. Both liners are soft and creamy, but the darker one is easier to use. It glides better than Softly Lined and it transfers better too. I like how these liners came with a sharpener. It makes thing so much easier. Convenient as I do not need to bring extra sha...
