Blemish Care from ZA

So I have here two blemish care from ZA. This is the blemish shoot pore treatment gel. It states that its a refreshing clear gel for intensive blemish care. I've been using this for the past few years. Did its job. Dried up the acne. I feel like after that, a good 6 hours later, it can be peel off. I know you are not suppose to peel it, let alone touch it. But it just dried up, that it became flaky. The SA told me that they will not be coming out with this product any longer. They have change it to the hydration series. So, this is the total hydration essence blemish care. Same as above. Supposed to be use at the end of skin care regimen both morning and night. I just use at night. It does the same the same thing as the blue counterpart. But it's cheaper and the tube is softer. Easier to get the product out in the end. I just think that it's not as effective at the blue one. Or is it my perception? As it was suppose to be the replacement. So it means it should be the same. ...

Lush mint julips

This smell incredible amazing. It smell just like what it is stated, peppermint chocolate. Just a hint of chocolate. I love it. The scrub is not painful too. It's practically sugar, and you can make it yourself. But you gotta love the scrub from Lush and its hard not to buy it after you smell them. After scrubbing, your lips became so soft and smooth. And the sweetness and yumminess of this scrub just makes you want to keep scrubbing. But ya, a little goes a long way. I only use this after I brush my teeth, most of the time. When my lips are obviously peeling/cracking. If its not that bad, then I probably won't use it. I'll just apply my lip balm. I wouldn't purchase this, even though I love it so much. The price is just too big a factor. When you can make it yourself for barely anything. Just DIY. Sugar, olive oil, done. Sugar, honey, done. So many tutorial on how to make your own lip scrub. But I do want to know how to make it as tasty as mint julips.

Bellabox March 2013

I finally cave in and got myself a Bellabox . It was for half price at $9.95 for the first time subscription. I got the March issue. It was theme Spring in your step. The box is so pretty with the cherry blossom stickers on the front. The box is pretty sturdy. A good box for recycling. Just a small box, that can probably fit 2 and a half iPhone 4 in width. I cannot deny I was excited receiving this box, I was trying my best not to tear this open. Even though I already seen what the samples are. They had 2 shipping, earlier of the month and the 20th shipping, which I got. I just love receiving stuff in the mail or from anyone actually.

Incanto dream

Incanto Dream was made by Laurent Bruyere in 2005, after the classic Incanto. Incanto Dream is a magical elixir that helps your imagination and fills you with joy. The fragrance is full of colors and fantasies. It starts joyfully and optimistic with sweet refreshing pineapple, black currant, exotic mango and juicy “Pink Lady” apple. Peony and freesia make the central theme of the composition. The finish is very comfortable and intimate, with sandalwood and musk.

Eyelash growth treatment

I got this Skin Peptoxyl from Sasa as I was looking for eyelash growth treatment. The SA recommended me this. It was one of the cheapest one. It is not as good as Talika, but it is alright. I don't use it AM and PM nor do I use it everyday. At most I use at night. I do not really see a difference. After my lash extension 2 years ago, my lashes still pretty sparse. Like it wasn't as full as before. And I never really notice or have a problem with my lower lashes until I watched all YouTube beauty tutorials. I practically have none, lower lashes that is. I really like my lashes to grow. Maybe thicker or some to grow, but I see no difference. The only thing I guess I can learn from here is that since it is a clear liquid, and the brush is like eye liner, I learn to apply eye liner, without the color. So it was a good practice every now and again. And maybe if I actually use this daily, it will make a difference. But I am just too lazy. Oh well.

Hada Labo cleansing oil with high purity olive oil

Another sample from Hada Labo. I like them as a brand. For giving little samples now and again, it's really nice. Simple, superior cleansing. No fragrance, color, mineral oil, alcohol. It's a make up remover, and I use this in the shower. This feels really nice and after, I just feel that I do not need to actually wash my face. Cause I feel that clean.

MUA kiss proof lip stain

Here I have the 3 lip stain from MUA. I really wanted lip stain, and the MUA was pretty cheap at £3 each. There are only 3 so I managed to buy them all. The design is like marker pen which suppose to make them easier to use. The tip is like felt tip, but the pointed part is hard. So instead of like writing on your lips, I have to use the side of it. Pretty inconvenient to use as I always have to apply it in front of the mirror. The color payoff is pretty inconsistent. It isn't smooth and really sticky the first time I apply. Some part of my lips will show the color, and some wouldn't. They smell like those artificial grape juice from the box that children love to drink.

YSL everlong mascara

Another one of those old mascara. I don't know if you still can buy this. The formula as always with high end brand is alright. What I actually like is the brush. It is plastic with many spikes around it. It is just straight cut, but different from other mascara I tried. It was suppose to lengthen your lashes, but it was not that lengthening. I guess it helps and gives you a longer looking lashes, but it was not that extreme. I like YSL packaging. Makes me want to have a display of them. One day ill have a house with my own my make up room. One day.

Channel Glossimer in coral love

It is a really pretty color. Coral with a hint of shimmer. A pity it can't last long. I forgot I had it. It was stashed in some old bag, and when I tried it on, it was so sticky and barely glide. The color is not opaque. So it's pretty much just shine with a bit of the peachy tone. My other lip gloss doesn't get bad that easily. It can last, I don't know why Chanel one is just so sticky. Pity. Above was being compare with Estée Lauder electric ginger. While EL one is more sheer, it has a nicer smell. So I prefer the EL, as both turn out pretty the same on the lips. Oh of course I have darker lips. Maybe on those not so pigmented, will be better. I don't know if this color is still available on the counter, but I don't think I'll be getting Chanel lip glosses as there are more glosses out there for me to try on. And so far, Chanel glosses are not a favorite.

Palmolive anti-dandruff

For an anti-dandruff shampoo, this gives me one. It is thick and makes my hair feel more greasy. It suits my brother's hair. His hair is short, wavy and thick. Mine is long, wavy and thin, plus tend to be oily and sometime even have dandruff. I have disgusting type of hair. Only if I do not shampoo it daily. For some reason, it just doesn't suit my hair type. My scalp will be itchy at night. I shampoo in the morning. And dandruff just form like that. It is gross. Such a misleading product. Do anyone with my type of hair can work with this product?

Rimmel berry queen

The swatch on the hand is not my hand, that's why it is lighter than my skin tone. I have a hard time capturing the right shade of the red, so I just have to screenshot it. Anyway, it looked warm to me. But it is described as being more of the blue tone. Blue tone = whiter looking teeth, so that is good. I am still as intimidated of red lipstick. They are still a scary color to pull off. I am still trying to overcome fuchsia, so this will take time. It is an alright lipstick. Applies easy, wear off after 4 hours. Not my favorite. I don't know if I am bias because of the color or what. But I never use this. I just put it at one side, sad right? One day. One day, I will conquer this. Image of lipstick taken by google which is by temptalia.com

Essence smokey eyes set in brown

When I bought this, it was S$5. Now it cost S$5.10. Yeah an increase of 10c, but it's still an increase. I used to say Silkygirl is one of the cheapest recognized brand in Singapore. But ever since Essence came to town, it took over. It is cheaper and yet it's really good. Really awesome in quality. Well I swatch them in Watsons, most of the Essence products.

ZA true white vitamin powder

Whitening skincare powder 10g Leaves the skin feeling silky-smooth and inhibits melanin production. Leaves your skin looking and feeling dewy while doing a perfect whitening job on pigmentation problems such as dark spots and acne scars. How to: As the last step in your skincare routine, take up an appropriate amount of the powder on the puff and apply over the entire face using light, pressing motions. White and powdery. Has this smell that is not weird, but I don't know. I actually do not know how to describe it. Pretty calming. And since I've been using this for awhile, it kind of has the scent of security that I can sleep in peace. This vitamin powder is used to set in the night cream. So after putting the night cream, you cover it with this powder. This is my second container. I guess I just like it as it is a habit and it makes my skin feel dry and smooth. Just comfortable on my skin. It is not a must have skin care product, but I just like to have complete routine on sk...

Dead sea spa magik mud mask

It is just like what it says - mud. It's pretty fun putting mud mask on your face. It's like face painting. It doesn't smell or anything. It is thick and goes on smoothly. It dries pretty quick. It doesn't pull at your face, I don't know if that's a bad sign. Maybe it's not a tightening mask so it is not suppose to? Removing is hard. You can't just wash away with water and cloth. Well must do that twice. My skin felt dry and my pores are all open up. Really visible. It's bad. Or is that good? So you can straight away use nose pore or something to remove pores. Anyway, after 5 minute of dryness, my skin came back to its original self, sort of and it is smooth to the touch. Still kinda dry so I use toner. Now it's two hours after use and my nose does not have a slightest bit of oiliness. It has that I just wash my face feel. So it's pretty good.

First Impression: Garnier light bb

I don't know if you can see the picture but that's the 10 benefits of this bb cream. Sadly I only have a sample. So trying out once does not really provide the best judgment on this cream. But I suppose it will have to do. It's creamy and easily blend. Like all bb it comes in one shade. My skin tone is on the medium side. Can appear fair on camera, but it is alright with bb cream color. So lucky me. Bb cream can be my best friend. It blends into skin. And it's just like a foundation with the added SPF. Doesn't really moisture my skin like the "Asian" bb cream suppose to. I guess it's ok as a foundation. But I'm not really interested in purchasing the full size.
