TheBalm Meet Matte Trimony

I like the concept of thebalm. It's just so cute naming the shadows after guys. This is the Matt version and every shadow is name after Matt something. It's 9 matte eyeshadows. Very generous palette with a mirror.

Anyway to me the shades are like this:

Matt Lim - light salmon peach

Matt Thomas - light milky pink

Matt Rossi - taupish brown

Matt Lopez - light hazelnut

Matt Kumar - deep brick red

Matt Moskowitz - gorgeous deep maroon

Matt Evans - neutral caramel

Matt Reed - deep brown with hint of purple

Matt Ahmed - black

I'm probably way off with describing the colours, but that's what I see and think of these.

Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Lip Balm

This is in the shade 201, creamy and a hint of light milky pink. I like that it is pretty, but the shade doesn't really suit me. What I like best is that they can engrave your name on the packaging. So it is pretty.

Beauty Uk Baked Blush

A red blush looks really intimidating on the box but I picked this up cause I want something different for my collection. It's just a cardboard box kind of packaging, secured with magnet, so it's really simple. It's quite big and like all baked product, it's dome in shape. So it's actually quite bulky. I wouldn't bring it for travel that's for sure. The color payoff is good, but instead of red it's more pink. You can use it sparingly and it will be lighter or you can pack on the color which will gives you a really bright pink. In fact, if lightly dust over your cheek it is more coral than pink. It has tiny specks of shimmer, but it doesn't show. I can't remember how much I bought this for but it wasn't expensive. It's not my favorite blush, but I find myself reaching for it a lot. So that's something isn't?
