Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick - Cognac

This is quite a small lipstick. At least it is shorter than most. The case is a sturdy plastic. Very secure when you close the lid. Cause it just feels really tight.

Cognac is a burnt brown with hints of purple kind of shade. It's rather metallic in nature and very shimmery on the lips. In the place without much light, this looks alright on me. But with full on light, it doesn't suit me as much. The texture is nice though. Smooth and easy to apply. Very pigmented and feels good on the lips. I think if the colour is less orange? It will look slightly better. Cause now it just look quite out of place for an everyday look.

This is in the shade 201, creamy and a hint of light milky pink. I like that it is pretty, but the shade doesn't really suit me. What I like best is that they can engrave your name on the packaging. So it is pretty.

Beauty Uk Baked Blush

A red blush looks really intimidating on the box but I picked this up cause I want something different for my collection. It's just a cardboard box kind of packaging, secured with magnet, so it's really simple. It's quite big and like all baked product, it's dome in shape. So it's actually quite bulky. I wouldn't bring it for travel that's for sure. The color payoff is good, but instead of red it's more pink. You can use it sparingly and it will be lighter or you can pack on the color which will gives you a really bright pink. In fact, if lightly dust over your cheek it is more coral than pink. It has tiny specks of shimmer, but it doesn't show. I can't remember how much I bought this for but it wasn't expensive. It's not my favorite blush, but I find myself reaching for it a lot. So that's something isn't?
