Guild + Pepper Warm Oak Set

The set come from One World Hotel, KL. Its a more masculine scent but I guess is more musky than what I'm used to. Most of the time hotels provide a more fruity set. This is warm oak, not very overpowering scent, still is fine. I like the shampoo, pretty good for my hair. Which is awesome. Yes I have to wash it daily, but no problem. The conditioner is decent too. The soap doesn't lather as well, so you have to use a lot. Body lotion is standard under air con room, it works out fine.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

My favourite cleansing oil is still from Shiseido. But this is alright. To remove makeup, DHC did OK. It is actually easy to rinse off with water. It doesn't make your skin super oily that you have to keep wiping it away. So I'm surprise I actually enjoy this more than I think I would.

Benefit Roller Lash

I think it is a good mascara in general. You don't have to curl your lashes at all. I feel like this curl it for you. It is not so dramatic unless you coat it a lot of time. If then, it can clump. So it is better not to overly coat the lashes. The only thing is that it is not waterproof. So it easily smudge. I think it is good for those who like a bit of flatter.

Follizin Balancing Moisture Conditioner

Conditioner for oily hair. I like it. Makes my hair super soft. Suitable for use on the scalp too. In fact, you kind of have too. Usually with conditioner you apply on the ends only. This, you on to the scalp too. It is meant to balance the natural oil and moisture for better scalp environment. It cost $50 for 300g. Quite on the pricey side.

Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub

This is a very watery gentle body scrub. It's nice as you get a bit of grit but it's not painful. You can use this everyday no problem. I think it will good for sensitive skin too. Smells good but doesn't linger. The only thing bad about this is that you have to use a lot to cover the whole body. So g per usage will not be worth the money.

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate

I like this. Its a little too moisturising for me, but as long as I use a mattifying setting powder, I will be set. This makes my skin really clean and clear. It's very hydrating. Basically these are samples for 3 days and nights. All the sachets are the same. Most time, I can use a sachet of 1ml for about 2 uses. I just have to use a normal amount. This is quite watery, so when you use the sachet, a lot will come off. So on the actual packaging, you will not use a lot of it. So this is nice.

Takimotokan Hotel Toiletriesa

Isn't this cute? I like them. I think they are a good set to have for the guest bathroom. They are good for daily use. Fuss free, and you smells clean after a shower. The citrus scent is not so overpowering, but it is still very refreshing.

First Impression: banila co Prime Primer

Do I like this? Not really. It is alright. But it doesn't leave a lasting impression on me. It is just too shiny for my liking.

Premium Puresa Golden Jelly Masks

Came back from Hokkaido with some masks of course. And they said that this is one of the most popular masks there. There were 3 of them. The blue one is CO, the yellow is RJ and the red is HA. At least that is what it said on the packaging. I'm guessing that RJ is royal jelly. The sales person was explaining what is what, but I totally forgot. Anyway, the blue one is Collagen for firm and vibrant skin.   The yellow mask is Royal Jelly for anti aging. The red was the first one I actually used, Hyaluronic Acid for moist soft skin. They also have Lavender, Rose, and Peach. The latter 2 are made in Korea though.  Anyway the masks have a very thick essence. The jelly texture is a lot, and I feel really wasted just using it once. I feel you can captured the essence into a jar and dip it in DIY mask. I'm sure it can be used for at least 2 times more. It was at first rather itchy, but eventually it settle down. Skin feels smooth and hydrated which is really good ...

T.LeClerc Eye Pencil in 15 Aigue-Marine

It is really hard to capture the navy blue. My phone camera just refused to work. This is a navy blue eye pencil. Really smooth and very easy to glide on. But I find that it doesn't set. So not good for hooded eyes. Good for a smokey eyes though. The blue is so dark that it appear almost black. Plus it's gentle on the lids. Oh well, another eye pencil wasted on me.

MUFE 5 Camouflage Cream Palette

This is no. 5 and its not good at all. Not sure caused its the totally wrong shade for me, or it's just too creamy to be used as a concealer. The idea is good. It has a light shade for highlighter base, a darker shade for contour. And you can mix both shade to get a better ideal shade for your skin. Then green to cover redness, purple for yellowing bruise and an orange for undereye. It is just too yellow based for me. Pigmented when swathed, but I feel that it tends to run with use. Like it just doesn't stay put. I think if you have a lot of patience, then this might work. But for me, I'm always in the rush, so it is just not that good.

Korres Travel Set

Got these from some event. A good travel set. It come with a bag too, but I don't know where it went. Anyway, the shower gel and body milk is in citrus and no the the shampoo and conditioner is aloe & provitamin B5. There are 2 bar soaps too. One is milk for stressed skin and another is calendula for softening. The bars are suitable for face and body. That is nice. It means they are gentle. But not a big fan of bar soap. Even though I have my own bathroom now, the soap then to just fade away. It's not protected enough. I need a better layout for my shower. The shampoo and conditioner are both aloe and provitamin B5. It's OK. The shampoo is alright for daily use. The conditioner is better to use as a shaving cream. I find that I have to use a lot of it to smooth my hair.  The soap is fine, citrus fresh, but the scent is not that strong. I like it enough but won't be looking for it specially. The body lotion too.
