Rene Furterer Astera Soothing Fluid

For sensitive and irritated scalp, a hair oil to be message into hair. Suppose to help with itchy scalp. It's a rather minty product. Like a hair tonic scent. I find that it is OK for the itchyness but it made my hair oily. So it's not good for a long day out. I guess if I'm just staying home, then this will be good to use. Plus it feels good using this before shampooing your hair. I don't know why, it just feels nice.

PTR Clycolic Acid 10% Hydration Gel

I totally forgot I had this in the cabinet. This is only 57ml, but it takes forever to finish. So this is to help with anti-aging and ideal for normal to dry skin. But it is also suitable for all skin type. Mature, sun damaged, combination, oily and problem skin type. So it basically suits any skin type. I wanted this to help remove rough texture on my face. Anyway you are suppose to use this every other night for 2 weeks. A thin layer on clear clean skin. After 2 weeks, you need apply this every night for a month. After that, you can apply this day and night. It takes about 10 minutes for this to be absorbed before you can apply moisturiser or sunscreen. So yeah, it's very detailed.

Yves Rocher Purifying Cleansing Gel

This is a very basic cleansing gel. It's very light and good for daily use. Nothing really special about it. The tube is also very easy to squeeze out the gel. Sometime it's even way too much. But overall it is OK.

Vichy One Step Cleansing Micellar Solution

I have to use micellar water to remove my makeup before I clean my face. Most of time, I double cleanse by using micellar water twice. This is good to clean the face. It's very gentle but the price is not worth. There are cheaper and just as good micellar water out there. So there is that.

L'Herboflore Aqua Plus Moisturising Toner

This cost NTD1,500 to be used morning and evening after cleansing. You are suppose to take 2-3 pumps to a cotton pad and smooth over face and neck. Unique jelly texture, upon skin application will absorb immediately into the underlying skin, the added vitamin B5 increases the content of hyaluronic acid in the skin, effectively enhence the effect of follow-up care.  I like this. Gel like texture, a yes in my book. It's light and absorb into the skin really fast. But if I don't use cotton pad, it will take sometime to sink in. Nonetheless I like it. Feel fresh using this, but for oily skin, a setting powder is needed. For me, after a while my nose area will get oily. Like maybe in the afternoon, so I will always have to blot. But I don't really mind.

Shampoo tried and tested 7

Rene Furterer Thinning Hair Ritual Stimulating Shampoo is actually quite nice. It is great for oily hair. I mean it is not the best, but it works. The only thing I don't like about this is that the more I used, the more I feel my hair drop. So I don't know how this is for thinning hair, when it is just not that great for that. Oily hair is fine, but thinning hair is not. Phyto Purifying Treatment Shampoo Oily Scalp has a really nice scent. I wonder if the Phyto range is expensive cause of the bottle. It is a solid aluminium kind of bottle. The opening is very big, the shampoo is very liquid like. So you have to pour carefully if not you'll waste a lot. It is very drying so conditioner is a must. Yves Rocher Low Shampoo is a foam less shampoo. It's more cream like, similar to a conditioner consistency. It's rather weird using this. I actually like the suds. So I won't buy this again.

TBS Frosted Berries Shower Gel

Is it too early for Christmas? I really do have a problem with wanting everyday to be Christmas, that every month should be the festive period. Oh how fun would that be?!  I can't remember if this is from last season, or the year before that. I like to have so many back up, that I just can't keep track of that. Plus I like to buy more during sales even though I already have way too many. I like Berries, so Frosted Berries is something I will naturally take home with me. Its not exactly sweet, but it's just more festive feel. I guess it's the name and that makes you think of festive season. I always like TBS shower gel, so this one is naturally a yes in my book.

Beautymate Polypeptide Collagen Revitalizing Mask

Revitalising, brightening, firming, moisturising and soothing are the reason for this mask. It was me at to reduce the appearance of fine lines caused by dehydration. It's a very wet mask, and even after half an hour, this mask is still has a lot of essence on it that doesn't sink into my skin. You are suppose to use this 1 to 2 times a week, or more if necessary for 10 - 15 minutes. I think the mark is OK. I don't know about the appearance of fine line, but I think it is good for moisturising.

Canmake Marshmallow Powder

I bought mine in the shade MP - matte pink ochre. It was the only one available. The colour is alright, not the best fit I feel, but still useable. So the MP is a peach ochre meant to create a softer expression. There are 3 other shade too. MO - matte ochre to make skin brighter. MB - matte beige ochre that quickly and easily blend into skin. ML - matte light ochre, a bright ochre for translucent look. So this is about $12. Quite reasonable. Actually, I feel is really affordable. The powder is soft and fine. The texture is good, smooth and goes well on the skin. I like it, even though it looks a bit fair on my face. But it adjusted well. And after, my skin looks really good. I always have a good skin day using this. At least my face has that impression. So I highly recommend this if you are fair to fairer medium skin tone.

Shiseido Perfect UV Protector

I don't know, I don't really like this. I usually like Shiseido product. Usually their product will suit my skin. For some reason this is just too oily on me. It was quite dry upon application. It wasn't that nice to layer makeup on. Then at the end of the day, my skin just gets really oily. I don't like it.
