It Cosmetics No Tug Waterproof Anti-aging Gel Eyeliner

Not sure if my eyes are sensitive or this liner doesn't work on me. It watered my eyes. The few times I used this, it just doesn't work. It's a Super matte black eyeliner which is really nice. Retractable with a soft sharpener at the end of the pencil to point the tip of the liner. So it's really a good liner to have around with you all the time. Plus this gives a little time to smudge it around before setting down without any smudge. It also has no tug, which is good for the eye area. But I just can't wear this without watery eyes after.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte - Sand

Work work work work work.. Rihanna has been busy. I didn't really get excited about this until I realised it's a launched that's happening worldwide. Usually a new brand from the West will not enter Singapore that soon. Anyway, I just decided to try their stick concealer. It is basically just a multipurpose stick. If you get a darker shade, it can be a contour, lighter, highlighter. I bought this online at Sephora sale. Original price is $37. I wanted to buy the trio stick but it was sold out.  So I got the shade in Sand. Based on online swatches, the shade seems right. In person, it's a bit darker. But when I went to Sephora to compare the other shades, a shade lighter is too light, and a shade darker is too dark. So Sand is the right shade for me.  Do I like this? It's quite easy to apply. It doesn't crease. It's quite a good coverage for such a thin consistency. I do have a problem with the staying power. It won't last the whole day. After work, I wi...

Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist

Got this from a set of the 500 Sephora beauty point perk. I wanted something nice for 500 points. But seriously, it's just hard trying to get one I wanted that's not sold out. Marine Boosting Mist is 7ml, but it's the perfect handbag companion. It's small and pretty. The most is strong and the scent is lovely. I really like the scent. It's not ocean scent, but it's very tropical without feeling like the beach. It just reminds me of a holiday. Not sure if the mist do anything, but I guess it's just nice to have it around whenever I want a little refresher. Then again, it's not exactly refreshing. So a bit useless in the end. But it's nice to have.

S&G Hand Cleansing Gel

Not all hand sanitizers are created equally. Truly, I never expect to sanitizer to be fun. But there's just so many out there to choose from with so many different scent. S&G have 2 - Sugar Crush and Hand Maid. Their formula is slightly differ from other sanitizer. They are more gel like. It is like playing with gel - soft and fun. But of course it will be gone after your rub your hands. They actually leave your hands rather smooth.  Sugar crush doesn't have the scent of sugar crush. I mean it does, but very subtle. I still like the Hand Maid as not only it's my fav S&G scent, the scent lingers too. It's not overpowering, but it lingers. So it's nice. I love it.

Maybelline Lashionista Waterproof Mascara

I never see this before. I am used to the pink one. Do they even sell that anymore? I think I did like the pink one. It's a lengthening mascara. This one is the waterproof version.  The wand is really easy to brush. I like it, cause no clumps, and doesn't go out of my natural lashes. So it is not messy. I can see fibers on the wand, but it doesn't drop on me. Unfortunately this doesn't lengthen my lashes as how I would like it. It is not volumising, it doesn't claim to be, but as such, my lashes doesn't look nice. Cause this just appear to make my lashes darker. But that's it. It doesn't give dramatic length. It's just very natural looking.  While I like natural looking lashes, I do want a bit more bam. Doesn't matter, cause this becomes my daily mascara instead. So it's good for that.

First Impression: Tony Moly I'm Real Aloe Mask Sheet Moisturizing

A wet mask, rather messy to apply. A good thing the essence is not sticky. It's not cooking and doesn't feel moist on the face. But the essence kept dropping down my chin. It's weird. It's like the sheet doesn't absorb the essence. Not sure if that's good or bad. I guess good cause it means that the good stuff is being transfer to your face instead.  The scent is very light. It's nice. Soothing.  It's not bad, my face feels slightly moisturised. I wouldn't buy this again cause it's just messy to apply. But overall it's alright.

Charlotte Tilbury KISSING Lipstick - Bitch Perfect

I still prefer the  matte lipstick  which I feel is so much more luxurious. It just different. The matte is more solid and on the lips, it applied better. This is creamy and pigmented but for some reason it just doesn't cover the lips as well. This feels like a normal lipstick. The colour is nice and all, but it just lacking. The price is not worth the lipstick. Maybe if this is about $30 instead of the $40ish price tag, maybe it's actually alright.  Nonetheless, it's still a good lipstick. It will transfer slightly, but the colour will still be there. Sort of there. So it's actually ain't bad. I just prefer the matte formula.

Laduree Cream Foundation

I got a sample of the foundation in the shade 10 which is way too light for me. It is a light foundation. Rather creamy, watery but it's quite pigmented. It has a nice finish. A bit on the powdery side. It is just not meant for oily skin though. Cause a couple hours wearing this, myskin turn greasy. So this is a no for an oily skin girl in a hot humid country.

S&G Rich & Famous Body Wash

Dual-use shower and bath which is good I guess this will bubble up nicely. The problem with this is that among all the S&G body wash, this is the one that I have no opinion on. It's like just so general. The scent is not strong enough. It doesn't captivate you. The colour is like that nothing interesting.  The product itself is good. It lathers well. And basically a good moisturising body wash. But it just doesn't scream buy me. And once you use it, it doesn't scream buy me again. So I will continue to use it. It's still a good soap. But it just doesn't make me happy using this. Is that weird?

The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%

Minus tax this cost £4.58 for 30ml.  I'm just trying as many The Ordinary products I can get my hands on that's alright for oily skin and not out of stock. So this is a wrinkle free solution. I like it enough cause it is a simple dropper solution. It's easy to use. It's not too heavy, but really potent. It's not the fanciest of eye serum, but it just works. And for the price, you can't really complain.

Tarteist Mini Duo

I really really like the lip liner. It's a good automatic pencil. This is just a mini, so it's quite a little bit of product, only 0.04g. This is in the shade latergram, a beautiful nude pink. It just looks good on the lips. I made the mistake of twisting it all the way up, so the whole pencil just broke.  The lip paint is 1ml. I love it, it's so small. Perfect for the handbag. I'm not sure what shade this is in. It's minty, so it's actually quite nice. Different from other lip lacquer. This is more mauve, very pretty on the lips.  I love the combo of these 2. I love them on their own. I will want to try the full size of the lip crayon and lip paint. It's just good.

The SAEM Chocopie Hand Cream

I love this. It's just such a cute packaging. I like that the hand cream has dots of "chocolate chips". When you use it, the chocolate kind of streak but it will blend clear. So no worry about that. This doesn't have much scent. I love how this just sink into the skin very fast. It's not sticky. Hands feel soft and lovely. Not exactly very moisturising, but it's good enough.  The thing I don't like is that the packaging make it hard to use the product. You can easily open but there is a clear plastic that protect the cream. It's good, but it just make you have an extra step before you can use this. Also, you can't really throw away the plastic cause it's the stopper. Once gone, the cream will go to the lid, and I think that will make it more messy.

Make Up Store Microshadow - Marilyn

Is glittery eyeshadow back in fashion again? It just seems that there is a lot of glitter nowadays. This one is not exactly a glitter shadow. But if you blend it, it will glitter away. It's a pretty lilac shadow. More light grey actually. You can wear it blended or use your finger to tap it for a more pigmented look.

Morocco Ghassoul Pore Solution Foam Cleanser

I like this as it's very foamy. It's a good cleanser and doesn't dry out my skin. You don't really a lot to clean your whole face. But if I don't note down the points of this cleanser after using, I would totally forgot about it. So it's not something I would be recommending anyone. I like it, just not impressive enough.

Garnier Moisture Matte Daily Oil-Free Moisturiser

The moisturiser is below $10, but I feel that this break me out. To say that it's a matte moisturiser, I don't think this is one. I like the texture, and the price is actually good. But it just doesn't suit me.

Dr.Jart+ Soothing Hydra Solution Mask

A thin transparent mask that feels like a gel. At least some part of the mask feels like a gel. Some area of the mask feels like a normal fine fiber mask. This is design to hydrate - soothe and relieve the dehydrated skin. I feel most masks are for that purpose anyway.  It smells very herbal like. And it just lingers on throughout the 10-20 minutes of having the mask on. I like the mask enough, but it's quite sticky after. I don't see a different on my face also. I just know that it's hydrating. I probably won't buy this again.

Naked Flushed

Do people still use this palette? It's a bronzer, highlighter and blush trio that is quite popular ages ago. It's just nice to have a palette dedicated to the cheeks. It's not exactly special, but it's just convenient to have.  I have mine in Naked. The bronzer is golden shimmery. Perfect for the extra sun kissed glow. The highlighter is on the pinkish side. The blush is a rather shimmery pink. All are pigmented but forgiving. So you can use any type brush and you won't really go wrong applying these. It's good for beginners and travellers who doesn't want to bring a lot of products.  So ya, I mean I prefer all things matte, but this is not bad to have around.

MAC 217

OMG! This is the best eye brush ever!  I get it. I finally get it why so many people rave about it. I have a lot of crease/blending brush that I think is good, but Mac 217 is like a whole new level. The first time I used it, I was just mindblown. It was just so good.  It's soft and fluffy and really gentle on the eyes. It's sturdy too. It feels really good on the eyelids. It picks up the pigments well and blends them really well too.  The shape of the bristle is good cause it's flat enough to pick up the shadows. But it's tempered that it can get into the crease easily. The sturdiness is good to really give you the control. But I like how it is not prickly at all. Some brushes are soft but when on the lids, it can be quite prickly.  This is $33.60 in Singapore. It's so much cheaper elsewhere. But still worth the price to me. Will wait for their 20% sale to buy more of this.

Briogeo Don't Despair Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

I don't really like this. It's quite a product that doesn't really sink in. I Guess you have to really use this and leave it alone for 20 minutes. But it just doesn't get absorbed into the hair. My hair will feel just slightly conditioned but still a bit coarse. I used this cause I don't have my normal shampoo. So I was hoping that this will make my hair smooth, but alas. I mean it's slightly better than not using at all, but it's supposed to be deep conditioning which it doesn't perform.

Natural Instinct Hydrating Cleansing Facial Wipes

I am not sure about this. I don't like it enough, yet I don't dislike it either. It's biodegradable, so it's rather rough. It's wet enough but not good enough to remove heavy makeup. It's ok for daily cleansing, like a wet wipes, but just not enough to remove makeup. So, I think I would not really recommend this.

MAC Plumful

I don't know if I like this. I wanted this cause the review is quite good. It's a natural everyday shade but not a nude. It's suppose to be slightly plum, but muted. Anyway, this is not muted at all. It's a full colour lipstick. It is still suitable for everyday wear, but people will notice your lips if you put this on. Cause it's not the typical pink or mauve. It's really has the purple undertone. I guess the lighting will affect the outcome of the shade too.  Anyway it's a lustre finish. It's slightly sticky when applied. On the lips it is rather comfortable. So no problem with that. I did panicked for a bit the first time I put it on, a few seconds later I was relieved.  The pigmentation is quite sheer actually. But in the lips is wasn't at all. If I go through a few swipes, the colour do intensify but it's still the same shade.  It gets some getting used to having a purple tone lips as nude and mauve are the ones I'm comfortable in. I sti...

Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue - Light/Medium

Bought this cause I wanted Stila and I don't want to buy their lipgloss. I decided to try this pallete which cost £23.33 after tax rebate. Was contemplating if I should get the fair/light or light/medium. I wanted light eyeshadows and a natural flushed cheeks kind of colour. In the end I bought the light/medium cause I think it's better to play it safe.  The shades are pretty similar but I think the lightest blush shade will be too light on me and the base colour the same. For this one, both the blushes are quite soft but it still swatches well. It's not so pigmented when you pick it with brush. So it's good for the subtlety that I wanted. The pink one charming is a matte blush, hardly show up on my cheeks though. So I have to use the right brush to pick this product up. But on certain lighting, you can see the colour on the cheeks. It's just not obvious. The nuetral one is call angelic - a terracotta shade.  The eyeshadows are also very light. This palette is good ...
