First Impression: Len HeitMiro 3 Step Pore Pack

The packaging is cute. The product is very messy. Step 1 and 3 consist of liquid. The instruction is all in Jap. Tried googling for this product and I can't find anything on it. Anyway, I just used step 1 and 3 with a cotton pad. Step 2 is a melted pink gel like substance. You're supposed to smear it across your nose. Not too thin and not too thick. Having it thick makes it hard to dry down. So it won't be able to peel off nicely.  It takes about 10-15 minutes to dry down completely. It does pull the pores but not as good as those sheets pore pack. Plus this is just too messy.

caolion Pore Sebum Control Moisture Stick

I am just a sucker for this kind of product. I always seem to buy them but I never really did like any. I like them enough but they're just redundant. This moisture stick is tiny and cute. It's suppose to act as a primer to control oil and cover pores. But it can be used before or after makeup. I mean it's really a moisture stick. They said if your face gets oily, maybe you just lack moisture. Anyway, when my face especially around my nose gets oily, this does work at removing the oil. The sides of my face looks rather dry; this will comes to the rescue. It's multipurpose.  I like that it's cooling upon application. I like that it's a stick form that's quite small. Application on the go is possible. I bought it at Sephora for $16. But I wouldn't repurchase this.

DHC Make Off Sheet

$18.90 for the refill, 50 sheets. The box will cost you $22.90. I just buy the refill, cause I like to try different makeup remover sheets. The sheets are quite small. They recommend to use 2 pieces per use. Daily use, 1 sheet is enough for me. I will then use another cleanser to cleanse my face.  It's made with 100% cotton. But the texture is very rough. It's a wet sheet, but after awhile, the sheet gets dry. It's like transferring a toner filled cotton pad onto your face. I don't like the feel it gives on my face. But I like that it removes makeup well. It guess cause it's soaked, so makeup is all removed quite well. And I guess it's nice that when you feel it gets dry, then the sheet is almost done doing its job. I guess I wouldn't purchase this again. I prefer bigger sheets and one that is rather gentle on the skin.

By Terry Cellularose Liftessence Skin Care Samples

This is a 3 set samples. So each satchet is about 2ml. Small, but I find that a little is all you need. The scent is quite nice. Just a tiny hint of rose. It's just very pleasant to use. I like it. Anyway, this is targeted for dry to normal skin. So it's more suited to mature skin too as it targets anti aging, focus on lifting and firming. But I just like trying out things. And By Terry is quite an expensive brand in the market. So I just had to. 1. is the serum, an intense recovering concentrate. It's a really nice gel serum. I really like the texture of this. It feels really nice. And just reminds me of watermelon. Not sure why. After all it's a sheer purple pink gel. Oh, the scent kind of reminds me of Fresh, but it has that typical high end cream after scent mix in it. It takes a while to sink in. But after about 15 seconds, my skins feel quite smooth. It feels hydrated and even though I know it will get oily in a few hours time.  2. Integral restructuring day cream...

Painterly Paint Pot

Bought this on a whimp. All I had was pictures and swatched online. I wanted either Painterly or Groundwork. In the end I settled with Painterly. It's a beige nude. It's actually a cream eyeshadow which can be used as a base cause of the shades. It's more brightening on my lids, so it's nice. It gives my lids a neutral base. Usually I don't use anything on my lids, so sometimes it will look oily. This prevents that.  I got this at their sale at $30.40. The original price in Singapore is $38 for 5g worth of product. But I think that this can last forever. Not sure if it will go dry on me. I always tighten the cap real packed. Hopefully that will help.

First Impression: H&M Charcoal and Pumice Mask

This is an exfoliating mask for tired skin. Basically the pumice grains will gently buff away the dead skin cell leaving skin smooth to the touch. And to use this, you wash your face and leave it wet. Then gently massage the mask onto face and neck. Leave on for about 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.  This doesn't smell as good. I seriously didn't really scrub away the dead skin. I just leave my face wet and apply the mask. But I did scrub it after when I wash the mask off. My skin do feels very smooth. I like it. But I probably wouldn't buy this again. For $2.90, you can share with a friend as it's quite a lot for one person. So it's not that bad. It's just the scent I don't really like it. Even though I do look less tired, I prefer purifying masks.

Maybelline Colorblur

Nude or mauve that is the question. I always pick either these colours for my lip shade. I just gravitate towards them. This is actually quite a nice gradient lip product. The problem is, it doesn't show up much, so I decided to fill in my lips. So this will show all the dry part of your lips.  The sponge part is a plastic silicon thing. It's not that nice to use. It just doesn't blur it colour properly. It's better to just use your finger.  Anyway, I guess the colour doesn't suit me very well. Like I will gravitate towards these kind of shades. But for some reason, this just doesn't look as nice on my lips. So quite a regret getting this. I just don't really enjoy using this.

Baylis & Harding Body Wash and Body Lotion

This is one of those gift set that you get from Watsons to give to your colleauge you hardly talk to. The body wash is alright, but 2-3 uses, that's about it. It does lather on, but it just used up a lot of shower gel to do so. The smell is not bad, flowery but not overpowering. It's just something you'll use without thinking about.  The body lotion has a weird lilac and lavender scent. I don't know why the set comes with different scents. And I don't know why the scents did not smell like what flowers they're suppose to be. The lotion itself is good though. The dry time is super fast and it is not sticky at all. I wish it has a better scent though. But I'm really impressed with the quality.

Lifebuoy Immunity Boosting Hand Sanitizer

I bought this purely for Pinkie Pie. It's like $3.65 from Guardian. It's quite a big travelsize. So I ont really hang it on my bag. I think this will be good to hang around a backpack or those beach bag. Anyway, the hand sanitizer is pretty much typically a hand sanitizer. It doesn't have any scent other than the alcohol. It is quite liquid like so I like to tilt back before I squeeze some out. It evaporates very fast and leaves your hand very clean. I guess cause the alcohol scent is just quite strong making you feel that your hand is very clean.

Sephora Double Duty Exfoliator + Mask

This is quite a good exfoliator. You are supposed to apply on a damp face, rub it all over the face and leave on for 5 minutes. Then rinse off after. It's a good fast mask which you can use in the shower. It makes my skin very smooth. I like it. The one thing I'm not a big fan of is that when you rinse your face, sometimes it felt like there still soap on the face. So I think it's just better to just use this as a scrub. Apply then rinse, much easier too. But if you don't really use mask, this will be a good 2-in-1 product.

Anastasia Contour Kit - Cream Soda

I bought another Anastasia contour kit. This time in Orange Soda. It's another nude shade. It's just slightly more bronze. This will be a nice bronzer for anyone with a fair skin. The shade is not too orange. It will just gives a healthy bronze glow.  Compare the 2 shades side by side, you can hardly see the difference. But when swatched, it's slightly differ. Nude is more matte. I should just buy the 4 pan palette. Since each pan is $10.80 on sale. The palette should have to be less than $43.20. Not sure how much the palette will cost though. But at least it comes in 4 shades that will suit your skin tone more or less.  So now I bought 2 pans and both are not really suitable to me. Not sure how I think about that.

First Impression: Choosy Black Pearl

This smells so nice, unlike White Pearl . This smells like lollipop, really makes you want to eat it up. So I enjoy using this more. The longer you use it, the gel kind of shrink. It doesn't threaten to come off, so it's nice. My lips feel nice after less flaky but it's still quite dry. So I guess constant use would be better. I will definitely repurchase this and will try the rest of the pack except of the white pearl.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

This cost £4.17 without tax. It's a nice light glass bottle with a droplet. The look is very clean and simple and the direction is on the bottle itself. If you have a lot of The Ordinary product, it may be hard to keep track of them all. But it's just a handful, then should not be a problem.  This is a serum for blemish prone skin. But personally it's just alright for me. It's watery so it's good as application as is easy. But it just feels so sticky on my skin. I have to wait a couple minutes for it to dry before I can use a moisturiser. So it's not good for daily use when I'm in a rush.  Other than that for less than $10, I think you got nothing to lose. Plus its minimal design is nice for the table top.

Horse Oil Cream

I don't like this. It smells funny and break me out. My Cousin swear by this though. Not all skin are born equally. This gives her such plump healthy looking skin. Her skin is more on the normal side that needs a lot of moisture. While mine is just oily and prone to break outs. So this is either too rich for me or there's something in it that doesn't suit me. Oh well, to each her own.

Huda Beauty The Nude Collection Liquid Matte

Decided to get this when heard people say that Huda Beauty has one of the best liquid lipstick out there. It dries down matte pretty fast. Really pigmented and the wand is nice. I decided to get the nude collection, cause I'm just safe that way. So the mini is really nice, cost me about £27.50 minus tax. It just nice applying this. It feels good. One coat is all you need. However, this feels kind of tacky on the lips. It's slightly sticky, so that doesn't feel drying. Rubbing your lips together is not a nice feeling. But I still enjoy applying this on. So, 4 different nude shade for every skin tone/ occasion.  Venus is a nude nude. It's slightly warm, but looks good on. It's a kind of colour, you will pick out in a crayon if you want a colour in a tan shade. I like it enough, cause usually this kind of shade can wash me out, surprisingly this doesn't.  Trendsetter is slightly in the brick nude. It is more earthy, more red undertone. you cant really see the red, ...

Shills Eye Am Beautiful Eye Masks

It's so nice to see all the colourful eye masks together. Each mask cost TW29 and all have a different shape.  Tightening & Angi-wrinkle eye mask should be good with anyone with a broad face. For me, the mask covers pretty much half of my face. So this should be eye and cheek mask on me. It's alright. It's quite wet, so you do feel like it's worth it. But I don't know I just like putting on mask in general.  Don't this one remind you of batman? I don't see the point of the sharp pointed ears. It just gets on my hair. It's also quite annoying cause the nose part is a bit too big. It just doesn't stay down nicely. But this is a black mask, so it's slightly thicker as compare to the rest, so it's just alright. This is for brightening & whitening , but I don't see a difference.  Charming & hydrating eye mask is quite nice. It fits nicely. I also do feel that it hydrates the skin. My eyes appear less puffy. But this is not cooling ...

Ole Henriksen Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser

This is a cleansing milk which foam up. So it's very soothing on the face. I like it enough, but I don't see anything special about it. It removes makeup well and doesn't make my face dry. But the thing is, my face is back to being oily after about 6 hours. So this is not really meant for oily skin. It's alright, but it is not targeted as such.  Nothing much else to say about this.

L'Artisan Parfumeur Mon Número 8

Mon Numero 8 is a very elegant scent of powdery iris, jasmine and musk. Supremely chic. Mon Numéro 8, with its luxurious mood, is like a cashmere stole draped over the bare shoulders of a lady one evening at the opera. It's a really lady scent like a kind of scent you only get to sniff at high end hotels. It's just slightly powdery making it more wearable for daily than what you'll expect of this kind of perfume. The first scent is very strong but it lingers more towards Johnson Baby Powder with a hint of dry sour plum.  I like it enough as it's not too strong. But it doesn't worth the scent to me cause dry plums are what I eat when I feel nauseous. So it doesn't scream luxury to me.

Balance Me Tinted Wonder Eye Cream

Eye cream, but tinted. It's actually quite a light shade. Usually I use like a very tiny amount. So the shade doesn't really turn up. But this just brighten up my undereye by a bit. I guess it's a nice eye cream too. But it's just for the morning. I like it enough for an eye cream. But I do think it's slightly heavy for me. Cause the more I use this the more that I see milia under my eyes. So it should be this causing it. I guess, this will be good for anyone who need a rich eye cream.

First Impression: Skinfood Egg White Pack

Bought this at about $1.80 each on Gmarket. It's quite pricey. I didn't know it just comes with one pack. I thought it would at least be a set of 4. Anyway, the pore pack is slightly on the smaller side. I am used to Biore's men pore pack. This one also has no slits, so it bends around, but at least it doesn't tear off. It managed to pull a good amount of blackheads, so not bad. Plus it's not painful.  The nose cool down is a gel pack. It's cooling and nice. I feel that it fits the nose rather well. It feels like my pores did get smaller. So whether this actually works or not, I am not sure. It doesn't matter to me, cause the price is not worth in my opinion.

Kebelo Enriching Masque

Supposed to put this on wet hair for 10-20 minutes, then I have to shampoo and condition my hair. It is implied that the wet hair is washed.  So it's rather troublesome using this.  I find that this doesn't magically make your hair super smooth. But it's good for day 2. Usually conditioner only works for the day you apply them. But this, day 1 is bad. I feel like it doesn't do anything for my hair. On the second day when I wash my hair, my hair is not so tangled anymore. I don't have use conditioner and it's fine. So yah, not exactly the best hair mask out there, but I think it's good for long term use. but waiting for 10-20 minutes for the cream to work it's magic before I wash my hair, it's a bit troublesome. So I wouldn't bother with this much.

ARTDECO Mat Lip Powder - Lovely Blossom

This is a very unique product. It's a powder lip colour. It applies with a sponge tip applicator. The colour is packed in the cover. It swatched really nicely. I thought this shade will be too bright. But Lovely Blossom is a nice hint of orange red. I thought it would have been more pink, but it's more blossom. On my pigmented lips, the colour doesn't show up as much. It's just to gives your lips colours. It doesn't exactly feel like you're wearing any lip product. So it's actually quite nice. Especially if your lips are evenly pigmented and you don't have such pigmented lips. I'm sure the colour will show up more and it will be a whole lot more pretty.  Anyway, got this on sale for about £7.75. Not sure if that's consider cheap. I'm just quite awe by the product that's why I got it. And so far, it's not disappointing. I do prefer the feel of lipsticks on my lips though.

Sukin Natural Deodorant

Aluminium Free Deodorant provides a natural option for preventing unwanted odour. A blend of Aloe Vera, Burdock and Nettle Extracts help to cool and soothe skin after shaving. Citrus and Aromatic Oils including Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanillin provide a fresh aroma and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed.  It's about AU$6 for 125ml I think. I find that this smells really wonderful. It's just very light refreshing like a face mist kind of scent. But I do think that this won't last long. So I guess you have to keep reapplying this. I just like it cause it's natural. The scent is good and doesn't feel like deodorant scent at all. Plus the spray is good. It gives off a good mist. But yah so the only bummer is that this won't last the whole day. I can get away it on normal day. But summer, I will probably need something stronger.

neuve Oil Bolt Powder

This is TW160 and can be found pretty much everywhere. I got mine at Watsons. I just wanted to try it, since it just seems so popular. It's a mini compact, rather quite. Anyway, it's part of Shiseido group, so I'm like all onboard with this. It's a nude shade compact powder. However when you swatch, it's a whitish powder. It's just a one shade kind of product for oil control. I used this for touch up which is what this is good for. I wouldn't recommend this as a setting powder, cause it will just disappear.  I think this is best for teenagers to bring to school and powder their face. It just so compact and comes with a puff which has a nice texture. I know a lot of people don't use the puff on the powder compact. But I think it's very convenient to have one. Especially for on the go.

Zoeva 111 Luxe All Over Shader

This is such a nice fluffy brush. It's actually quite a big shader brush. But you turn it one side, the size is actually quite a good size for the crease. It's fluffy, but slightly tempered. It is dense but soft and will hold its shape regardless of how much you press. It picks up shadows pigment very well. And it will transfer on the lids quite good too. It's not exactly the kind of eye brush I will pick up usually. But I do want one that is for the whole lid. I do find that this is still best for glittery/shimmery shadows. So yah, it's fine but not a necessity.
