Sleek Blush By 3 - Pink Sprint

It was winter when I got hold of this palette. It's really gorgeous. I love the colours and they are all perfect for autumn. The blushes are super pigmented and the packaging is sleek. But boy, how do I wear them? They're just so full on out there that it's hard to apply. Cause you have to be careful and gentle. I don't like too much blush on me. So while everything is beautiful, application is a pain. Even using a stippling brush, this will still give off a lot of colour. So a gentle hand is a must. This will be good for stage makeup though.

A'kin Hydrating Mist Toner

I'm still loving all kind of mist. This is a toner, but I used it mostly to refresh my face or spray it before I go to bed. The thing about this is that the spray doesn't really cover the whole face. The mist is gentle enough. But I have to spray a few times round my face to really get all around. I don't know, when it comes to spray I have to feel the wetness to feel that it's on my face. If not I won't be satisfy an will spray on more. So I think that's kind of redundant.  It's best to close your eyes another 5 seconds after spraying. The droplets will settle on the face a bit late. When you open your eyes too early, it will get into the eyes and it burns. So that's the bad thing.  But yah, this will hydrate and tone the face. For refreshing, it's not so much. But it's still quite nice on the face. It's not extremely cooling, it's just makes your face feels slightly less sticky. So it's not bad. It's just convenient to use a spr...

MAC Ruby Woo

All the red lipsticks from MAC is pretty much an icon on itsown. I wanted to buy a few to really see which ones the one I really like. But I don't really use red lipstick. So it will be a waste. So I settle with Ruby Woo, the classic. I like it. It's drying but it's nice. It's quite alright on the lips. It's pretty. I am comfortable in it, but also feel like removing it. I prefer  Viva Glam Rihanna  as it's just not so drying. But this is still nice. Cause retro matte is a good matte in appearances.  The colour is just a classic, and you cannot go wrong with it. But if your lips is super dry, then it's better to skip this and get something else. Cause there're just so many red lipsticks out there.

Beautymate Horse Oil Moisturising Mask

Horse oil is still popular. I got this mask from Watsons. I wanted to try something from Taiwan, but not commonly found overseas. I never see this brand before in Singapore. So I decided to try them out. I prefer this to My Beauty Diary or My Scheming masks. It's somehow better. The price is slightly more expensive. It's not that much, but this feel better. So I would recommend this brand for anyone going to Taiwan. The mask fit well. It's very moisturising, good for normal day. It's not sticky. Doesn't irritate my skin. The next day, my skin can still feel the moisture from the mask. Is like, it's not visible and not your face. But when you wash your face, it seems that the extra essence get washed off. I don't know. It just gives me the feel good vibe. I really like it.

COLAB Dry Shampoo - London

It's quite interesting seeing dry shampoo making it in Singapore. There used to be none. Then Batiste came in, slowly more brands can be seen on the shelves. I bought this, cause it was 1 for 1 at Watsons. For 50ml, the original price is $6.50. That's just pricey when you can get Batiste at $4. Anyway, I got the scent in London which is a classic fragrance. It's a very nice fragarance.  The spray is good and strong and the product come out white. It's rather obvious on black hair. But a massage to the hair will solve that problem. I so think that you do have to massage more in depth to get the powder to disappear. But the good thing is that this gives you the extra voloume. So not only your hair will stay less oily, it doesn't go flat.  I like this. I enjoy using this. It doesn't get heavy and can last for at least half a day. So it is good for the morning errands before you can take a shower.

It Cosmetics Brow Power

This is a nice brow pencil. It's a small traveling size one. The pencil an over shape, kind of waxy but managed to swatched on the back of the hand. On the brows, it looks good. It's natural and fit me. This is in universal taupe, the colour is more brown than grey, but on the brow, it just blend in very well. It's also long lasting. I have been into brow powder, but it's troublesome to bring it for traveling or in my my bag. So sometime a pencil will work better. So this is the pencil I would recommend. This is probably my fav brow pencil for now.

Suncut UV Protect Gel

This is another of those product that is highly raved about when you go to Taiwan. I guess it's supposed to be a Japan brand/product. But you can buy this in Taiwan too. It's 100ml, with a SPF 50. So that's quite high. I like it a lot. It's light and nonoily. It sinks in rather fast. It doesn't break me out. It works as a primer too. It's just a good sunscreen overall. I can't remember how much I bought this for but I know I bought it at Sasa.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk

£20 lipstick and it's worth every pound. It's a beautiful colour. It's not exactly matte, so it's not exactly drying. The shape of the lipstick, is also one I haven't have before. It's really applied nicely. It goes over the shape of the lips and one swipe is all you need. It's a really nice lipstick. The tube is pretty much just a typical classic packaging. So nothing special about it. It's rose gold colour though, makes it pretty to have on hand. It's also a very sturdy lipstick but transfer very easily on the lips. I just like it. Even though the first time I used it and it transfer on to my teeth, I still did not fault this. Cause the second time and after, I used this and no problem. So yah, I like it.

Lululun Precious White Mask (Gold)

I'm not a big fan of this 7 sheets packaging. It's better to get the 30 pack as it's more like wet tissue style. It's easier to pull out. Anyway, I decided to get the gold one cause it is gold. Didn't know this is for whitening. Anyway, it's not bad but the mask is on the small side. So you have to really apply it carefully. Only on the third try I managed to get everything in place. The mask is not especially cooling. It's just super wet. After 20 minutes, it's still rather wet. When you take it out, the essence is still on your skin. So it's nice I guess you are getting the most out of it. So it's just super hydrating. In term of whitening, I don't really see a different. Will not buy this again, but I want to try the rest of Lululun masks.

BBW Sea Island Cotton Deep Cleansing Hand Soap

BBW hand soap in Sg cost $12. So it's a good time to buy them during their annual mid year sales. At 50%, it cost me $6. The deep cleansing soap has granules in it. So it's meant to be sort of a scrub. But I don't see how it can be scrub, when the soap is so gentle. It foams up nicely and leaves your hand very smooth. Not directly after you rinse it off and dry it, but only after about 30 seconds after drying then you can feel it.  Sea island cotton is a very clean scent. It's nice for hand wash as it is not overly strong. But it wash the bad scent away. So wasn't that bad for $6.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Valume Mascara

I thought that this mascara will be very dramatic. Surprisingly it's quite tame. It gives natural looking lashes. It's not a waterproof mascara, so it's easy to remove. But I tend to rub my eyes, so this will transfer quite badly. So as long as I don't touch my eyes, this is very nice. It's the kind of mascara I like cause it's just natural. It doesn't give you longer lashes, it won't curl your lash also. But the way I apply this is I make sure to wipe the excess away on to the tube. So I'm left with a little of the product. When I apply, there's not much on the brushes, so it just gives me the effect I want. If I don't get rid of the excess, this will clump my lashes. I guess this is something I don't feel worth buying a full size of. While the brush coat every lashes, it's just not with the heavy price tag. There's a lot of mascara that's much cheaper. But I don't mind getting the mini sizes for free.

S&G Whipped Clean Shower Butter

This smells of almonds, but when you lather it on, it smells of pistachio. The shower butter feels like body lotion. But it will lather and bubble up when you rub it in. It takes some getting used to, but once you know how to soap it up, it's really nice to use this. Cause it's just the most moisturing shower gel ever. Ok, it's not a gel, it's just a good no hassle soap. And you don't have to use body lotion after, cause your skin is already so smooth. It helps with dry skin and saves time from using body lotion. See, it's a good shower wash for lazy people like me.

Lime Crime Liquid Lipstick - Riley

Lime Crime, is it still a controversy brand? I don't actually know what really happened. Just that it was said that they have one of the best crazy pigmented lip item. This is free from a goodie bag, so a good time to try. It's a small travel size matte liquid lipstick in Riley. Riley is a muted reddish brown. It's pigmented I give it that, but you can see the wrinkles of the lips. It dries down to a matte finish rather quickly.  It's ok, but there're other liquid lipsticks that are more comfortable on the lips. Plus this, the oil sort of seperate from the pigment. As in the oil leak out from the packaging. Not sure if it's just a bad batch or an old one. Oh well.

Gentle Girl Mask Pack No. 1 Macho Boy

This is just too cute. I like that the mask come in a paper like packaging. It's a nice gentle sheet mask. It has gel-like essence so it feels very cushion like on the face. I enjoy using this. No 1 is for soothing and sebum control. I guess that's why it's very relaxing using this. Throughout the 10-15 minutes I kept commenting on that. It's just fuss free and stick on your face. Plus the moustache and beard graphic just makes it fun.

Lanocreme Gold Placenta Facial Cream

This is supposed to be delicately fragranced with almond flowers and honey. The scent though, it's rather strong. I actually like it. It has a nice old school kind of feel. Like a nice flowery body lotion kind of scent. Anyway, the cream remind me a lot like cold cream. But it kind of distributed into the skin rather quick. It's thick, but flow easily. I like it enough for for night time used. I think it's too rich for me for day time moisturiser. It's to be applied on the face and neck.  My aunt's friend swear by this but she only applied on her neck. It helped to tighten that area and made it looked better, younger. So she recommends this to us to use for our neck area. Which come to think of it, it's often neglected. You can have a very smooth face, but your neck more often than not will give away your age. I can't say whether this actually works or not. But I do like the look the cream gives me. I look fresher. It's like after you exercise that kind ...

Naturals Shampoo Hair & Body

I love the squeezy tube of this. This is just some of the products that certain hotel are using. Not sure which hotel, but I did get this from a hotel association event. I can see why it's a good product. It's a 2 in 1 shampoo and soap. This reminds me of peaches even though it doesn't smell like it. It's suppose to be oranges, but it doesn't smell like oranges either.  I guess the packaging has an orange fruit on it, that's why I think of peaches. Not sure why also.  I find that I can use this for 3 days as shampoo no problem. On the last 3rd night, I found that my hair get slightly oily. So I guess I can get away with 2 full days with this.  For soap, it's nice cause it smells nice. I feel that it's better as shampoo than soap. But it's alright. It doesn't foam up as well, but it lather on alright. As I said the scent is wonderful, but it won't linger. So that's the downside to me.  Not sure if you can actually buy this somewhere. But I...

Sephora Mini Birthday Blush

I was actually quite surprise with the quality of these. It's pigmented when you used your finger to swatch them, but on the brush it picks up rather faintly. And still, it gives a fairly nice hint of colour on the cheeks. I thought that it will be very faint. But it actually very nice on the cheeks. It just gives a flush of colour, very natural. Depending on lipstick shade, the blush can be either orange or pink.  Orange is more of a shimmer coral blush, which looks good when your face look matte and you need some warmth. The pink is a standard pink, not that obvious on the cheeks as a pink blush, but still gives a fairly healthy glow.  So it's a really nice mini duo to have for everyday.

First Impression: My Scheming Deep Purifying and Oil Balance Mud Mask

I was intrigued by the paper bag material sheet mask. I never expect to really find a mask coated with kaolin clay when I opened this up. The mask is rather small. But I guess that is so the mud will not go all over and mess up your hair, etc. At least, application is easy. Usually with mask like this with 3 layers (clear plastic, mask and white plastic) will be very messy to apply. Cause the essence will just drop everywhere. The mud mask surprisingly stick to the sheet. Once you remove the clear plastic, it's easy to hold the white sheet and placed the mask onto the face.  I like this. It's easy to apply. Only after removing the sheet mask, you'll have to wash your face. So that can be the only hustle. I don't really see how much the mask help with purifying my skin, but I guess it's just the enjoyment of using the mask that matter for this case. And the fact, as an oil balancing mask, this doesn't dry up my skin. So it's actually nice.

Beauty Buffet Brightening Hand Mask

Silly me for thinking that I can only find this at Taiwan. They actually sell this in Singapore too. Beauty Buffet by Watsons have this hand masks for $4. So the price is quite alright. It came with 2 sealed sachets - one for each hand. You are suppose to cut the dotted line, insert your hand, pull off the sticky tape and secrure the mask in place. I find that I can't really use both at one go. As I like to have a free hand on stand by. So this is nice as you can always use one side.  It's rather moisturising and I find that the longer my hand is left inside the mask, the more the essence interact with my hand. My hand is slightly smoother which also can be used with the help of hand cream. So I think it's just nice to have this around, but not as a fantastic product or anything. Just as a normal hand mask.

Plumping Lip Gloss in Pink Sugar

I found a bunch of unopened makeup in one of my bag. I thought I had lost all those makeup. Anyway, I opened them hoping that they're still alright to use. This lip plumper is still fine. It doesn't smell funky or anything. I love lip plumper especially the MUA one. They just tingle right. I finished my first ever one like a few months after opening it. It just like it that much that I kept using it. The colour was good too.  Pink sugar is slightly a darker pink. But it's still wearable on the lips. Pigmented and one coat is all you need. It's just so shiny and slightly glittery. It makes my lips look super juicy. I just love looking in the mirror using this. It's not so sticky and it's comfortable on the lips. The tingling is not extreme. It just a touch that makes you know your lips are experiencing something.

Too Cool For School Velvet Pore Pact

Trying to find something from Japan/Korea that is specially for oily skin is actually quite hard. A lot of their product is targeted for dewy healthy looking skin. I rather have a matte look with glossy lips. Even those that are targeted for oily skin usually don't do so well. Anyway, I just tried this cause the words "pore pact" in it. I'm just assuming that it's to reduce the look of pores which in turn reducing the look of oil.  The powder is a white, green and pink pressed. But it's just white when you swatched them. The only problem I have with this is that it's not long lasting. So it's ok for touch up. But I will still need to apply again after 3-4 hours. But it's ok, cause it's quite a thin compact. It's just slightly on the pricier side in my opinion. About $20 something and I don't think it deserves to be that much. But I'm just quite bias. So yah, will not buy this again.
