Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

First impression: this is so sticky, but I know it can't be right cause it's quite liquidy on top. The jar is so tiny, it's uncomfortable to use your finger to pick up the product. Also, it's very shimmery, and blends to dissappear into your skin. I really don't see the point of this.  I tried googling this and the review is quite good. So while at Sephora I tried swatching with the display sample. It's actually very creamy and not sticky at all. It's also not cakey, the shade quite light on the back of my hand. So it is to be brightening, if the sample I have at home is not melted.  Second impression: still hard to apply under the eyes. It doesn't goes on smooth. I tried again with a RT deluxe crease brush . It's a good side for buffing concealer. Plus the bristles fit the jar, so it's a win-win. But still it wasn't good.  Third impression: by now, the product is clear of any wetness. So it's a solid cream product. I dip my brush in, app...

S&G Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em Body Buff

This is so nice. It's pretty. It's pink. The smell, I kind of prefer the original S&G scent. But this is a good scrub. It's coarse enough yet very gentle. This is 50ml travel size one. But I don't think it's wise to bring this along for traveling. The packaging kind of "leak". As in it's just not fully tight. Not secure enough. But I guess cause it's the moisture. Like this is not a dry body scrub. It's just very moisturing kind.

Tony Moly Lip Scrub

This is just too cute I couldn't resist. But the product is so little when you open it. It's barely half. It's like a cream mix with sugar. So it's a very gentle scrub. A little goes a long way, so that's good I guess. If not I will feel that I got rip off buying this. It tastes really good too. I didn't eat it, but on the lips, it tasted good, sweet.  This is not heavy duty, so my lips are still chapped after. It's just when you rinse it off, it's like you have a coat of balm on your mouth area. So it feels like your lips is smooth and nice. But after an hour or so, it's back to normal. So this is not good at all. I think poeple who doesn't have dry lips can use this as it's just way too gentle. But the lip shape container is just too cute. So at least it will make a cute table deco.

First Impression: L'herboflore Tremella Moisturising Eye Mask

This mask is drenched with essence that I'm surprised it doesn't slip down my face. I got this mask for free walking along the train station. They were just giving this sachet for us to try. Anyway, the mask is quite broad. So it will fit pretty much everyone. The top part is great as it follow the curve of the eye shape. The bottom is slightly weird. Cause the shape sort of look like a bat, it doesn't really fit around my nose. The whole mask covered cheeks too.  Not sure how long I was supposed to put this on as there is no instruction stating the number. The words are all in Chinese, but there's no time given. After about 15 minutes, my face kind of got irritated by this. It just itchy. I wanted to take this out but I wanted another 5 minutes as the mask was still rather wet.  Overall not my fav kind of eye mask, but it's free so why not. It is moisturising and I can feel the effect working to keep my eyes fresh. Not sure how. So this is not a good mask for night...

Merlot Collection Resveratrol Moisture Day Cream

This is such a thick moisturiser. Thus it takes time to blend into the skin. I don't really like it as I prefer light moisturiser. But it's alright for anyone with dry to normal skin. It doesn't have any merlot scent so that's not an issue if anyone wondering. But ya, it's not suitable for me at all.

Lierac Luminescence Serum

This is an illuminating serum complex corrector. Not sure how it correct, as it's quite a sheer glowly product. It's pretty much translucent with an after glow effect. I guess this is nice cause you can put it together with your moisturiser or foundation for an extra glow. It's actually quite subtle, like tiny freckle of diamond. Then it will subdue down. So it won't be so crazy. It's nice if you want some subtle glow on your skin. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin.

YSL Illuminating Foundation

This is too yellow on me. Plus it's an illuminating foundation, so it's not for me. I like that it has SPF but that's pretty much the only thing I like. This is just not for oily skin. It's a medium coverage, but the shade is wrong. Not sure what shade this sample is; is it B30?  It's supposed to give: Dimension  Radiance  Weightless  Perfection I guess anyone with normal or dry skin will like this. It goes on smooth so that's good. Lasting power can last a full office hour, so that's good too. Not sure if they still have this product as I have this sample for quite some time. And I'm not sure why I bother with trying out foundation with the word illuminating on it. I bound not to like it. So yea, oily skin is a no, normal to dry should be good.

Payot Pate Grise & Speciale 5

So the Pate Grise is quite wellknown. People say it will either work for you or don't. So it basically a spot treatment to use at night. To be applied on a cleanse face to all the blemishes. Then you can apply the Speciale 5 to the dry spots.  So Pate Grise tend to stain your bedsheet and what not. So they recommend to cover it with a tape. The sample doesn't really give me enough to try this product out. So I can't fairly say that this work or doesn't. I wish I have more samples to try though. I read the review and it looks promising.  Speciale 5 is a drying and purifying gel. This is to be applied on mature blemishes. Based on the instruction, it said to apply with a cotton swab. To me, it doesn't really diminished spots. Not sure how fast the spots are supposed to be gone. Then again, maybe I don't have enough to play around. So can't really say for sure.

Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment - Poppy

I love Fresh lip balm and poppy is such a beautiful plum colour. But I still prefer the full size of this. It's just better on application. Plus when this go soft, it breaks off easily. It doesn't melt but it became too fragile to use. So that's really the downside of this. It's Singapore after all, so this will easily melt. And mine melted even when all I did is put this in my room, away from sunlight. The weather is just that bad. But oh well, it's still a very beautiful product and shade.

The Wet Brush Pro

I love the wet brush so much that I bought another one. It is a pink one this time. Little did I know that it is so soft and the bristle is just too flexible. It's really good if your hair is very smooth. If your hair is not that smooth, then this will have to work a little harder. But it doesn't hurt at all. And it just makes combing your hair a brisk. The problem is that it takes a little longer than the normal wet brush. It's just so much more gentler which is good, but the extra seconds to comb through in the morning, I couldn't spare. In the morning, I prefer the sturdy bristle the old one gave me. Does that make sense? Therefore, while the pro is better on your hair, I prefer a little tugging action.  So I went out to buy the normal one. A yellow one this time. It has a "squirts" on the packaging which I assume is just the different handle. My old mini one is metallic, the pastle purple is squirts, while the big one is matte . Upon inspection, the bristl...

Flower Fusion Sheet Mask - Lavender

Lavender is for soothing which leave the skin de-stressed. It doesn't really have the lavender scent. I like the texture of the mask. It's rather smooth like a gel. Putting on the mask is not as relaxing. It's quite strong on the face. Like there is a reaction of the mask on my skin. I don't know how or why but it affect my skin. It just feels very unnatural. So I don't really like it. Anyway it's only $5, so it's not crazy expensive. But in all honesty, I don't mind using it again even if it's unpleasant. I mean it's only that cause I associate this as a relaxing mask, but I didn't get that.

Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer

I'm not sure if benefit is still selling this. It's a bb cream primer. It's a yellow cream which is a bit more thicker base. As in it is harder to blend into the skin. I like that this has SPF and as an eye primer, it does as well as other primers I'd tried. I prefer those that are easier to blend. So I don't like this as much. As a sample, 0.1ml, I can use this a few times, so it's quite a good sample size despite the 0.1.

Faceit Power Perfection BB Cream

This is my shade. It blends in so perfectly that I can't tell if the bb cream stayed put or has disappear. Of course this is quite a dewy so it's easy to tell if it's on my skin. It's quite sad that this is for dry skin. If not it will be nice to have something that matches my skin tone perfectly. Plus this has a SPF 37 so it's quite a high one. I guess it is too bad that my skin is oily.

MUA Intense Kisses Lipgloss - Sealed with a Kiss

MUA intense kisses is still one of my fav lipgloss formula. It is only £2. This time round I got the shade Sealed with a kiss which is a very soft neutral pink. I guess it's a nude with a hint of pink. It's rather pigmented and glossy. But it's moisturising on the lips. It is comfortable on the lips. So it's really nice. I just love it.

ELF Angled Contour Brush

When I bought this, I never expect it to be so small. It's too big for the eyes. It's too small for the cheekbone. At least for me that is. I don't do any contouring and stuff, so I don't see the purpose of this. I mean I bought it cause I thought it was bigger, so I can use it as a dusting of matte bronzer as a contour. Since it's so small, it will be quite harsh for me to contour. A light hand is needed, but it will still be quite sharp. So I use this for highlighting instead. Which I don't really do. So this brush is quite useless to me.  The brush itself is soft, not overly dense. It's angled, so it's actually quite nice for uneven surface. It's just a little small so it's more precise for application. At US$3, it cannot go wrong. In the end this brush is not a need,  it is just an extra brush for anyone who want to do contouring.

Lancome Blanc Expert Beautiful Skin Tone Brightening Cream

This is a nice cream to be used for me at night time. I Guess my face is just too oily to take in any cream that does not say for oily skin. I found that this works well for the outer side of my face. That's where my face is not so oily. It's actually quite normal. Only around my nose area that is really oily. So I only use this at night as I don't want to add in the shine during the day.  I don't see any brightening effect. But maybe I use this too little time for anything noticeable. I would have enjoyed using this if I stay in colder countries. As this is not heavy yet very moisturising. Then again, there are other moisturiser that I feel is better than this.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer

This is suppose to conceal dark circles, imperfections and discolourations. It's also suppose to last all day. Warm beige is a slight yellow tone concealer. It's a shade that should be good for anyone with warmer skin tone. When swatched, the colour doesn't seems to match me very well. But I can get it to blend into the skin. It's rather thick and sticky. So that's good for the long lasting claim. But I'm used to easy to blend concealer that this take some time to get used to.  Maybe if I have the patience, then I can use this with ease. But for now it just annoy me. I also find that if I rub it in, then this will not cover very well. So I don't really like this.

No. 1 Belle Frais Cleansing Milk

This is quite ok. You kind of suppose to use this on a dry face. But I try different methods anyway. In term of cleaning I find it's alright. But it doesn't remover my mascara. I don't know, I don't enjoy the experience much as I thought I would. But it's a good cleanser for daily use. Plus as a cleansing milk, it is rather moisturising. So that's nice I suppose. But ya, this doesn't leave much of an impression on me.

City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color - 052 Roosevelt Island Red

This is a brick red shade. I never expect to actually like this kind of shade. But on me, the colour is really nice. It suits my skintone. It suits me. It's very smooth like butter. It's quite sturdy but glide on easily. It's rather sheer with a touch of glossiness. So it has dimension. I like that it's fuss free. Doesn't claim to be long lasting or anything. So it's really a low expectation kind of lip product. Very comfortable on the lips and the best part, it's not expensive. I highly recommend NYC lip crayons. I'm sure all the colours are good.

First Impression: Klarity Lasertox V-line Slim Up Mask Lift Up Patch

Well I have to use this everyday for the first 2 weeks and at least 1 - 2 times a week continuously for this mask to work. Well I mean this kind of sliming mask is something you won't really know if it work unless you use it religiously. Anyway this is a 2 steps process. First you have to use the cream on your cheeks and chin. Then you apply the hydrogel sheet for 30-40 minutes. It's nice course you can hook it to your ears. But it's so different from the picture. My face is so not a v shape at all. Somemore I only use this once, so I don't see any different. Not sure if it worked cause I don't feel any tighter or anything. Oh well.

Shiseido Facial Cotton

This is so nice. I understand why people love it. It's thick but soft. It doesn't fray easily. When you use it with micellar water, the cotton doesn't feel like it soak through. And it will spread out and become bigger but thinner of course. However, it still doesn't fray. So it's really awesome. I bought this at Taiwan Watsons. I can't remember how much. maybe around $10SG. It has 165 cotton squares. I like it but I always feel like it's very wasteful if I use it. So you know it's that kind of feeling. I guess cause it's just too expensive for cotton. And I still can't find this in Singapore. So once it's gone, I'll be very sad.

Faceit Primer UV Veil

This is a slightly pink primer. But of course it blends in to clear. It's quite moisturing which is nice. But it sort of make my makeup look heavy. And after about 3 hours my face especially around the nose area started to get oily. So this is better for anyone with dry skin. It's nice though cause it has SPF. I just wouldn't buy this.

First Impression: Egg Mellow Cream

This is a very moisturising cream. It's so oily on me. Once you put it on, you already can feel the thickness of it. It's not thick nor heavy. But for some reason it just feels weighted on my skin. I guess cause this is really quite good for anyone in need of moisture. People with dry skin will love this. People like me not so much. Even in cold country, I think this is too much for me.

Nuxe Face Cleansing and Makeup Removing Gel

I love the scent of this. It's so sweet and soothing. It's good at cleansing and removing makeup. I like this. I am considering buying the full size cause of the scent. But I don't think this is as good as any other cleanser. Especially Nuxe is a pricier brand, so for the price, I don't think this will be worth it.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip - Calypso

This is better than the matte version. It's still rather matte but it's less drying. I like it. Calypso is also a wearable shade. It's brownish nude but it's quite suitable for daily. It's not too brown. It's warm, but doesn't feel very yellow. It's not exactly an easy product to put on. You need a mirror for this, but still it's not as bad. You may have slightly out of line but nothing can't be fix. So still good.

First Impression: Laduree Rose Body Milk

I'm not a big fan of rose scent but I find that I've been using and trying a lot of them. So far most of the scent are not too overpowering. They're all rather subtle and nice. Laduree rose body milk has a strong scent but it's very feminine. It's those old school rose scent. It's nice but I am not really a fan of it. The only reason I can stand it is that it's just a very soft scent.  The lotion is very watery and easy to apply; it's nice. And the best thing is that it just sink into the skin very fast.

First Impression: I Love Rue Ultimate Pearl Beam Mask

I bought this specially cause of Kim Woo Bin. I mean I bought this for my sis cause she likes him. But she didn't even bother when I show it to her. I guess she has moved on to another Korean star. Anyway, this is a super hydrating mask. So much so that it feels rather too much for me. It's like I'm packed with too much moisturiser on my face.  This is meant to be a whitening and for wrinkle. But I just feel that it's very hydrating. The mask is only very thin. The essence almost feels like jelly. So it's actually quite nice. Especially if you have dry skin. The fit is not exactly the best but since it's thin, really translucent, it just stick onto the skin. I like it enough that I can walk around in this mask without feeling like it will come off.

Yoko Spa Milk Salt

This is so good. It smell exactly like milk. It's like putting on milk powder + fine sugar. You are suppose to put on for 3 minutes then rinse. I didn't really get to leave it on for 3 min. I'm just to tired to wait that long. But my, my whole body is just so smooth and soft after. It's so nice. I love it.  A good thing it's in a pack, so it's easy to bring this around. And you also know that it's the right amount to use. But I do wish there's a tub of this. I got this in a random supermarket at Krabi. It's like maybe about $1. But it's so good. It's a good thing I bought a few just cause I wanted some body scrub for travel. I guess I can make this myself. The packaging say salt, but it smell sweet so it feels more like fine sugar to me. I guess will have to experience. But then, milk powder is kind of expensive in Singapore. Oh well.

J.R.Liggett's Travel Size Bar Shampoo

I like this. It's a set of 4 mini bar shampoo with a case. But the case is quite useless as it just get soak and make everything wet and sticky. I wished they had given a tin like Lush or something. They also gave a rectangle plastic to rest the shampoo on. I find that once it stick on it, it's hard to take it out. So I just stack it on.  So there's 4 bars but 2 of them are the original which is my fav. I like this cause it doesn't make my hair oily. So it's really good for travelling as I won't have to worry about oily hair or having dandruff.  Tea tree & hemp oil is for flaky scalp. Which is also nice.  Jojoba & peppermint smells nice and it's for curly hair.  But I don't think there's much different between these 3. I find them all quite good. I enjoy using them and it takes a while to use them up. Solid shampoo is also good for travel especially without luggage check-in; less liquid the better.

First Impression: Choosy White Pearl

This is quite nice. It's like gel eye patches but for lips. It's just a patch in the shape of the lips. This is in the white pearl which is a white pearl colour mask. I don't know the rest of the series will follow the colour base on the packaging or what. Anyway, if you just put it on your mouth, it can be uneven and there might be air bubbles. So what I did was sort of close mouth suck. The gel mask followed the shape my lips. But it tasted horrible. The other I did was to pat the mask into the curves, but sometimes it just peel away.  The mask can be apply for 5-30 minutes. I find that eventually after about 10 mins, it feels sort of drying. Throughout the experience, you can't talk at all. It's nice though. The mask is cooling and feels nice. After about 20 mins, I peeled it out cause it felt kind of dry. But my lips are very moisturised. So it's really nice.  How I wish I bought more. Oh well next time then.

First Impression: Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Foam

I find that this doesn't foam up as much as I hope it would. So it doesn't do such a good job in cleansing my face. I still have a lot of residue on my lids. The actual product is probably better. But given this, 1ml, I wasn't impressed. So this is a no for me.
