SK-II Signs Eye Mask

Until now whenever I use sheet eye mask, I wonder which end will be nearer to my nose. The good thing about SK2 is that there is a lot of pictures and reviews online. So in this case, the smaller area will be closer to the nose. The mask doesn't fit my eye but oh well.  I like that each pack comes in a tray. And the patches are covered by a white plastic. So you can sort of just pinch the plastic to get sheer out and stick on your undereye. You won't get sticky fingers. It's good.  The mask itself is alright. Not that fantastic. Even with constant use, I don't really see the difference. Oh well, at $8 per pack, that's the price I bought it for, I don't think it's worth. But I'm sure it has some benefits and stuff which I probably won't be able to see until I'm older. That probably it.

Origins Renewal Serum

This is quite ok. It's good for normal skin. I use this at night and I find that my skin will be quite oily in the morning. The nice thing about this is that the serum will sink into the skin rather quickly. So it's quite nice to use cause you can put on moisturiser next without having to wait long. The texture is also quite nice. It's like almost gel like, but it's not. So it's a very smooth application.

Jurlique Rose Hand Cream

This is so nice. It's not plastic like the one given on SQ and this is 15ml instead of 5ml. I prefer the Rose scent as it's quite subtle. It feels nicer on the skin. Very feminine and gentle that kind of feel.  I like that it's not sticky at all. It absorb into the skin almost instantly. I like that it's small and it's easy to use. Yah, that's about it. The size of 100ml is about $39 I think. So it's actually quite pricey.

Super Lustrous Lipstick - Plum Baby

Love the formula. Even though it's a pearl finish, it has the look of metallic. But it's wearable. I like how smooth it goes on. I like that the colour is not too crazy. It's more of a lilac. But that's cause of the finish I guess. This can look quite pale on me sometimes though. So a blush is needed, if not it will kind of just wash you out. The colour is slightly too dull that it just absorb the light of you.

First Impression: Nuxe Clarifying Cream Mask

I just feel so unglam today. This is the first time I use a mask from a sachet that I feel gave too little. I barely have enough to cover my whole face let alone my neck. Plus it told you to apply liberally on to the face and neck. It's a 4ml pack too.  The nice thing about this is that it has a subtle rose scent. Once it dries, it sort of become clear. Using warm water to rinse off, it feels like soap. The texture is like rubbing on soap. It doesn't do much on my face though. I mean sure it does cleanse my face. At least it looks clear but nothing sort of special about this. So not impressed about this.

Guerlain Eyeshadow - Fard Metal

Now I see more brands come out with this kind of eyeshadow. But Guerlain one has been out for a long time. It's a loose powder with a sponge applicator. It's small and compact. The idea of this is good. I like that it's so pigmented. I guess cause it's powder pigments, so you just pack it in. Fard Metal is a bronze taupe with glitter. It's quite gritty, so that's the thing I don't like about it. The texture is not nice. But it's a nice colour. Can be use to smoke out the eyes. I like it enough for the convinience. Plus as long as you don't tip over the bottle, there's not much any fallout. So ya, not bad.

First Impression: DearPacker Mas Cream

This is a very thick moisturiser. It's good for people with really dry skin. It takes forever for the cream to set into the skin. So this is not for me. But I think this will be nice in winter months. But I do like the scent. It has a faint sweet scent which I can't put a finger as to what scent. But it's nice.

First Impression: Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser

This is such a nice sample. It is very gentle and I like that it has very micro particles to exfoliate the skin. I like this. It makes my skin very soft and smooth. It foams up quite easily. So no tugging at the skin. I also like that when you rinse your face, it doesn't strip your face. So it's a nice daily cleanser. It doesn't claim to be a scrub but I like that it sort of is. Love this.

CdP Extra Rich Lipstick - 1

Love tiny stuff. This is a good daily lipstick. The shade is not too bright. It's a your lips but better shade. Albeit on the darker rosier side. But it's still nice for day to day. The formula of this is also very solid. So you don't feel like it can break easily. It's just a nice lipstick. A nice formula. A nice colour. CdP is not a cheap brand, so the price of this will not be nice. But oh well. A creamy, solid lipstick that doesn't chapped your lips is hard to come by.

7th Heaven Chocolate Mud Masque

This does smell like chocolate. It's very thick and I feel that one mask can be used for 2. Cause I have to be really generous with my application and I still have a lot in the pack. The mud mask looks more like milk chocolate instead of the rich chocolate mud it suppose to look like on the packaging. It takes time for it to dry, as I used a really thick layer. I never let it dry fully as I just couldn't have it on forever.  I like how this is a deep moisturing mask. It just makes my skin smooth after. I no longer have dry skin on my cheek after one application. It's good. So I use this whenever I need the extra moisture. Plus it smells like chocolate, so good.

Yes To Tomatoes Blemish Clearing Facial Wipes

I like this. It's a solid packaging with the actual clip cover. It's good for opening and closing without having the sticky cover that will lose its hold. This is also the promo with 30 wipes instead of 25. So a full month of wipes. The wipes are big and wet. It's nice cause it doesn't feel like a wet wipe. It's gentle on the face. But it removes all traces of makeup. I forgot to use this to test with waterproof mascara, so I have no idea if this will remove waterproof makeup or not. But for regular makeup, it does well. It also quite nice for blemish skin. So love this.

L'Occitane Brightening Essence

I like this better than the lotion and the moisturiser. The scent is much lighter. I like that it sinks into the skin rather fast. It will be slightly sticky, but after awhile it's fine. I use this at night mostly as it leaves my skin rather oily in the morning. So it's not a good serum for oily skin. But night time use is alright. And it does leave the skin rather brighter.

La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Transforming Cream

This is a tinted moisturiser. It's a very light shade. So it's super brightening on me. But after application, my face appear to be quite dull. It's almost grey. I like that the application is smooth though. It has a scent just like all the la prairie product. I think it's their signature scent. I'm not a big fan of it. So it's quite unpleasant I feel. But it's a nice moisturiser cause it makes my face feel smooth.

Revlon Hair Treatment

This is a all in one hair treatment mask. It's basically a leave on hair mask. This is a sample size and it's supposedly sold in salons. It really has that salon scent. I like that it is small and it's easy to use. The scent also seems like you step out of the salon. It's a good sample to have for traveling. A good leave in conditioner substitute. It just makes your hair very smooth. I like it.

TFS Orchid Sensual Body Lotion

This is a very watery lotion. It's easy to apply. Slightly sticky and takes awhile to be alright. It has a nice orchid scent. I like the scent. But it's just takes awhile to be non sticky. So that's the downside.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula

I've been using this and I was hoping that this will help with my pimples. But I don't really see the result that I want. I think that this doesn't exactly help, but it doesn't worsen it. Which is a pity, cause I can buy cheaper face wash and get the same result. This ia 200ml for $35, so it is still ok. Not the cheapest, but not exactly what you will call expensive. As it is Clinique, the brand has that kind of price point. So it is fine. But I can use a $15 facial cleanser and feel the same. But for $35, this last a long time. So not bad. Plus I feel, if you don't really have high expectation of this, you won't be disappointed in the first place. So if you don't have expectation on this. Then, this cleanse makeup well. The formula is like a soft gel. So it is non drying and easy to rinse off. It doesn't feel like it strip off your natural oil on your face, but you also feel like your face is just clean. No more oil residue, no more makeup residue. Masc...

MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush - Peachtwist

This is a nice bronze blush. I guess if it's not so shimmery, it will be nice to bronze up the face. The shade is slightly rosey. So it's more suitable as a blush. It's quite pigmented. I will use a stippling brush just to get the faintest colour. While we like things pigmented, I find that less pigmented item that can be build up to be much better. But anyway, this is a great blush for summer time.

Lancome Renergie Multi-lift Gel in lotion

This is quite nice. It's a gel. But it turns watery once you rub it in. I like the consistency. But this break me out I think. I just suddenly have a pop here and there. So this might be the culprit. But it's nice. A nice lotion. Quite hydrating, so it's good for dry skin.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Smile, Dream, Sparkle

Not a big fan of this. It's just a clear sparkly gloss. It's alright, but it's just rather plain. So it's quite boring. I know this is an old packaging. She now has come out with a whole bunch of new makeup and come out with new pacakaging. It doesn't look as inexpensive anymore.  Still the product is good. But it's just nothing wow. Plus glosses are sticky. It's just not something I would use again.

banila co. Prime Primer

This is a super shiny primer. I never expect it to be so shimmery. It suppose to be blurring. Which if you put on, you will look like a disco ball, but I guess it will blur imprefection as it will be quite hard to focus if your face is that shiny. But anyway, after concealers and powders, etc, it's not as bad. It won't give you matte finish, but it still works ok.  To me it doesn't let me look extra oily. It's just normal. It's just the initial shock when it turn out shimmery when I push it out of the sachet.   I would never buy this in the first place. But oh well, at least I know now.

EcoTools Bronzer Brush

A giant brush with a giant handle. At least to me, this is the biggest brush I have. It's dense, and fluffy. It's hard to clean cause it takes forever to dry. And it's hard to hang it upside down. But I like this as an all over bronzer. It's light and bronze up your face. It's good brush to have. It's gentle on the face. It's also good to put shimmery powder. Well you have to use a light hand. But it can be use for all over the body too.

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment

I prefer the original. I feel that it works much better on my skin and I will really see a difference after using once. For this though, it just makes my face feel dry and red. I guess it's too strong for me.  The first time I use this, it just irritate my skin. But I have spots, so maybe that's why. So I preserve. Then after awhile, it just neutralize. So it doesn't hurt anymore. Once in awhile, when applying this, it still hurt. But most of the time it's fine.  This has very little leaves in it, but you can get some on your skin. This is basically just a mud mask which will dry into a lighter grey clay like material. It really is a clearing mask. It just suppose to clear the impurities on your face. But it's not for anyone with sensitive skin. This is just too strong. So yea. I know I have a few things to say, but my brain is just so blank right now. But ya, I prefer the original.

CdP Eye Color Quad in 208

This is a more wearable quad. It's actually quite rosy, a nuetral shimmery shadows. The first shade is a pure shimmer. The second is a taupe brown with tiny silver glitter. Third is a darker taupe brown with a gold glitter. At some light, it will appear with a purple undertone. The last shade is pretty soft beige shade. It has tiny specs of glitter too but the I can't really determine the colour.  This is a nice quad to have. A bit plain in a sense that most neutral palette will sort of have these kind of shades. So it's not anything special. Plus the fact it's so shimmery, it's not a good daily eyeshadows.

Facial Mask Brush

Bought this for $3.90 if I'm not wrong. I just wanted a brush to apply my face mask. It's really quite a game changer. Not only my fingers will be clean from the goo, the application is rather smooth and even. I think that's the best thing about using this.  The brush is a synthetic fiber that is soft. It's not too big and not too small. It is a good size for my face. It makes application of mask much faster. It's easy to clean the brush too.

Bathing With Sharks

I am using this right now. I bought this cause it is cool. It is a blue shower gel. It has a nice subtle scent, which I think will be good for night time bath for kids. This doesn't lather much. You have to use really a lot to get wash up. Even though, it doesn't have the minty fresh scent, I always feel extra clean using this. I don't know why. Anyway, I bought it at Sephora at $20 for 400ml. So it is not exactly cheap. About:  In this dog eat dog world, you need the edge. The best thing to do, pretend you already have it. Here’s help. Slip into the water and into gladiator mode. Instantly transformed, you are unstoppable. Emerge from the water standing a little taller, and with a taste for conquest. It’s not magic; it just works. Benefits:  Infused with: energizing, confidence boosting Royal Jelly extract. Royal Jelly kick up energy level and the will to succeed. Rouge Infusion Red 10 Essence

This is a mini version of the rouge infusion. I got one in the red shade 10. It's a deep blood red. A rusty red. Quite pretty for fall when swatched. It can be apply sheer or super pigmented. However I find that it's a bit patchy upon application. When you take it out of the tube, a lot of the product is on the brush. When you apply it, it doesn't get a nice smooth finish. The only thing I like is that in the end, I get a stain on my lips. And the tube is small so it's cute. But this is not a good shade.

VOV Cover Pencil

I regret buying this. It's a dual ended pencil concealer. But both side is the same. The shade is a bit too light for me. So as a pencil, it's mostly for spots but the shade doesn't suit me. This is shade 23, which is their darkest shade I think. Also it just takes forever to cover a spot. I think I just don't like pencil concealer in general. I find them a little bit too small. So I don't use this at all. It's just rotting in my drawer. It isn't exactly expensive. I think it cost me $6. It's still a waste though. Oh well.
