Aritaum Jelly Bar Lipstick

In this in the shade 11 Yum Yum Pink. It's a bright pink. It looks more like soft pink. I never expect it to be so bright. From the tube it seems like it may be quite sheer. I was so wrong.  It's a jelly bar so it's quite a "bouncy" feel of lipstick. It is a soft lipstick, so gentle application is needed. It glides on beautifully so you don't have to really press on to your lips. It feels nice on the lips. But the colour is just too harse for me. I wanted something softer. But oh well.

PureHeal's Ginseng Berry Eye Lift Patch

Love jelly masks. It's so fun to put on. Very cooling and you will know when it's time to remove cause you can feel the gel getting thinner.  The problem I have with this kind of eye masks is that I'm not sure if the large part is suppose to be inner side or the outer. Google always show different type of ways. Maybe there is no right or wrong.  Anyway, this doesn't help do anything to my black eyes. The only thing that it is good at is keeping my undereye cooling. It just feels nice on the skin.

thisworks Energy Bank Tinted Lips

The first time I tried this, it was super sticky. It's a clear gloss. I guess it's suppose to be a balm, but it's sticky so it feels more like a gloss. And as it was shiny too. I was waiting for it to turn my lips into some natural shade. I thought as it claimed to be a natural lip colour that it will be those natural changing lip colour. But I was wrong.  Then I happened to squeeze a lot out to take picture for this blog. Who knows suddenly the clear gloss turns to some reddish colour. I tried shaking the product, nothing. Now I know why it's on sale. The product must have seperated. But behold a red tinted balm. It's more of a brownish red. When apply it's actually quite sheer. It's no longer sticky. So I mean it's not bad. A good topper. Or if want a bit of gloss but don't want to use lip gloss, this will be good.  After the sale, this cost me $15.90. So it's really pricey. But it's quite nice for a colour balm, cause it not sticky but it ...

DMS Hair Restorer

When it come to hair tonic, I am not that fussy. Well I do prefer one that has a spray. So it's much easier to apply. This one is cooling, as long as you rub it in. I think most tonic will be that way. You have to rub it in to get the effect. No complain about this, at first works wonder. But I feel once your scalp get used to it, it doesn't work as well. So ya, I haven't really find one that I really enjoy using.

Eyeko Eye Do Mascara

I got this for $15 during sale. The price is quite fair. Eyeko has a few different type of mascara but this was the one on sale. A lengthening and strengthening mascara that is a collaboration with Alexa Chung. It includes a mascara shield which I think it's a better use for a guitar pick.  Anyway, the wand is a quite unique. It's a bit jagged. It has long and short bristle. A bit tempered at the end. The problem I have with this is that it is quite a big wand. The jagged length of the bristle doesn't make it easier to get into the lashes. So I find that this works better for people with actual lengthy lashes. It's just hard to really get them coated if you have short lashes.  The formula. It's quite waterproof. Well at least to me. It smudge when I apply this cause the wand is too big. But if I remove the smudge straight away, it's easy to. When I wash my face with a cleanser, this doesn't really get off. So makeup remover is the only way I can remove this ...

Lip Tar - Strumpet

I have this in my draft since forever. As you may know this is like a really old pacakaging. So I got the shade Strumpet which is suppose to be a maroon deep fuschia kind of colour. There is a mini brush also which is quite good just not travel friendly. It doesn't have a cap, so it will get messy.  So anyway, this the colour is too out there for me. It's also quite messy to apply. It sort of suppose to be a stain and it just stain everywhere. It also will go all over my teeth. The worse part is it bleed. It goes all out. So it's not a pretty sight.  OCC Lip Tar is good but the colour I got is all wrong for me. I just don't like the deep colour cause it bleed and I prefer wearable daily shade. Plus now OCC has come out with so much newer updates lip stuff. Oh well. Oh I used to melt plain colourless balm into a clean pot and a drop or two of this and mix the colour to get tinted balm. That's a much better use of this.

CDP Eye Color Quad - 201

Was given this and it just remind me of the Marjolica Majorca . It's just shiny and glittery. This is just the refill. You have to buy the packaging yourself. This is in the shade 201 which a green shade. So the colour is a glittery beige. It's a base shade. So it's a lot bigger than the rest. The next shade is a golden green. Next is a forest green. The last shade is like a mauve grey. It is a grey base with a purple hint. I guess it's duo chrome. It's a cream shadow as compare to the rest. It is also just shimmery not glittery.  The shadows are soft and smooth to the touch. So the glitters are really fine. It's really good. I like the pigmentation of the shadows. I like how it is quite sheer when you swatch it but the colours will show up. I like the pop it brings out to the eyes. But it's just so shiny that it's not ideal to use daily. Other than that, it's good. But there is just so much other brands who are better and cheaper. So I don't...

Acne Clear Pimple Treatment Cream

People says that this is cheap and really good. And my face is still breaking out. With no luck finding a cure whatsoever, I just have to try this. And I really see no difference. It took me five days of constant wear for the spots to be less obvious. 5 days! I don't think that's a good sign kf it take me a week. I mean I'm glad it worked, but it's just way too long. And it doesn't really fully cure it. So I think this works on most people. It's about 5ish I think. I can't really remember. So I mean nothing to lose trying this out.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire EdT

Fresh Floral. Fresh, delicate, swirling. In the first wink, a bouquet of rose, jasmine and orange blossom takes flight to a delicate melody. The second twirl takes place as cherry, apple and blackcurrant enter the stage, refreshed by explosive green notes. Finally, white amber temptations are revealed and a cloud of white musks envelops the ensemble in a cosy halo. This is EdT which is nice cause it's not so heavy. Even after 6 hours, the scent still lingers on my skin. Not as strong, and differ from the first scent that come out from the tube. I like the after scent more. It's more light. Not musky not floral. Just light.  I really do not like posting about fragrance cause I don't know what to say, how to describe. I guess I can only say whether I like it or not. I do like it. I feel it's good for those who want a something stronger but afraid of the power. So this is quite light yet it's slightly powerful.  I wouldn't buy it exactly. But I think it's nice ...

Ellis Faas Milky Lips

Ellis Faas product is so cute with them looking like bullet. L205 is a nude pinkish peach-like orange shade. A burnt peach shade I guess. This is more like a gloss I think. It's too light as a liquid lipstick but it should be under that category.  The pen has a brush tip and you twist the bottom of the "bullet" to dispense the product. That part is fun. The colour doesn't suit me as much. It's not the colour per se, it's the milky shade. It's more pastel like, so it doesn't go smoothly over my lips. Therefore it's not an easy shade to use.  I bought this on sale for $28. Not a cheap product, so it's something that goes into the regret pile. I mean it can be used but I probably will not reach for this as much. So regret.

Origins Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay

I have been using this for some time. It's a pink mask that you have to use for 10 minutes. It will harden then you have to wash it off. It's quite hard to. It gets harden quite fast.  This mask has a peculiar scent. I'm used to it now, but it was weird the first few time I use this. It's a mask that's brightening  I don't know but it feels brightening to me. So ya. Nothing much to say about this. I don't really enjoy using this. But I just have to finish this.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner -Eastend Snob

This pencil kept breaking on me. It's too soft I guess. But it's really nice on the lips. Glides beautifully (before it breaks that is) and super pigmented. Eastern Snob is really a colour that will suit everyone. No wonder there's just so much rave about this. It's more of a mauve. But I guess you can say it is pink and neutral too.  It feels more pink to me. And just using the liner, it makes the crevices on the lips super obvious. So it really can be use as a liner but not a lip colour. For me, this suits a lot of mauve or pink lipsticks.  So the only thing I don't like is the fact that it kept breaking. Other than that I like it enough. I just don't use it cause of the breakage and I think I repeate myself way too much.

Thermal Spring Water

I learn that there is just so many product that is being produced in the same factories. So it's just one generic product with the basic ingredient. And everyone else is a brand with or without additional ingredients. Then again, there is the better pacakaging, better branding, better everything. It's hard to tell which product are the same unless you work for them or the factory. I'm not saying all products are like that, but I always wonder if I'm paying more for something I think it's better.  When it comes to facial mists, I have no idea if it's all come from the same place. But I really don't see a difference between them. But I do know that I prefer to use one than the other. Not sure why, maybe it is just my perspective. I don't want to make a fool of myself saying I prefer this when those who know will laugh at me and say it's the same product. Or I make a fool of myself when I say it's the same when it's not.  La Roche-Posay mist, I ...

LaLaque Color Riche - Lacque Omg

This is one of the most beautiful red I've ever lay eyes on. It just looks so juicy. This is the lalaque, which is suppose to be shiny. But the product is so soft that it just kept breaking. Not sure if it's the weather, so it's just naturally soft. So will have to put this in the freezer before use.  Since it's so creamy, it's hard to get everything inside the line. It can, but it will sort of move around. Formula wise, I think I still prefer the matte one. But this is just so pretty. I would love to be able to pull this off for a night out.

Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer

There are 3 type of Dettol instant hand sanitizer - original, refresh, and soothe. The original is pretty much the normal one. The alcohol scent is not that strong. Refresh is with aloe vera, but I feel the scent is so much stronger. But once dry, it leaves the hand feeling smooth. Soothe is with chamomile and it has the most pleasant scent. So it's really nice using this. Still can smell the alcohol, but once dry, this has a very floral powder scent. Personally I don't mind any. It's all good for me and I will always pick a few whenever I'm in Indo. Cause it's slightly cheaper to buy it from there. It's all made in Thailand anyway.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream

This is a white moisturiser that when you rub onto your skin will turn to a nude shade. It's rather cool and unexpected. But I feel this kind of break me out. At least it feels that way. So this must the cause of my pimples.  Anyway it's not a thick cream. It easily blend. And even though it has colour, but it suits most skin type. The shade hardly can be seen on the face. Even though is for all skin type. I still think it's best for normal to dry skin. It's a bit heavy on oily skin. It will make your skin shiny quite fast. Not a big fan of this.

FAB Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser

I am determine that FAB is not a brand for me. I tried two of their products and I don't see results. This is a deep cleanser which is suppose to be really good for oily skin. But I don't think it matter as much. It feels very average. And I feel that this cause my break out to continue on. So that's really bad.  It's a red gooey liquid which is quite cool but it is quite messy. The cap is filled with dry product. It's not a nice look. So everytime I use this, I have to turn the bottle upside down then turn it back and squeeze some product out. If not all the product will ooze out. But this takes forever for me to finish, I guess I don't use it as often. So I'm glad to finally say good bye. I probably won't be using FAB in a long time cause I don't really see the benefit. But I'm still curious over the moisturiser though. Oh well.

Scandaleyes - Taupe

It glides on the eyes. No tugging, no breakage. It's smooth and inexpensive. I really do like Scandaleyes. The only thing I feel that it will be the best if it will really set faster. I always feel like this will transfer so easily. Plus it's quite fast getting the product to be blunt, so must constantly sharpen it.  Taupe is a beautiful taupe. A bit weird on my eyes, but as long as I line it very thin, it looks fine. This always transfer onto my lashes, so I always have to coat my lashes carefully with mascara. But still love it.

ELF Mineral Powder Brush

This is such a nice little brush for touch up. It's a powder brush, fluffy, soft and small. It will not pick up a lot of product, so it's just nice for touch up. It's also good for blush. I like it, but I don't really grab towards this. But for US$3, it's really a bargain.

Bourjois Color Boost - Plum Russian

This is such a beautiful colour. It's a purple hue but very wearable. It's comfortable on the lips too. Very glossy and wear more like a balm. But it's not a soft crayon. I just love this. It's one of the better crayon in the market. Even though I feel most lip crayon will not fail you. It's just the colour selection that make or break the product. Plum Russian is two thumbs up!

ZA Mascara Base

Bought this cause I really want fuller looking lashes. I still feel that my lash is very sparse. What this do is create extra volume under the mascara. Personally, it doesn't give much volume. But I do like the brush. It's quite small and it just swirl up.  The product is white so you really have to coat your lash very carefully. But I feel the nice thing about this is that it curl your lashes. At least at the end. For some reason it curl up a bit. So it's quite nice. Other than that, I don't know, I've been using it but not much different I feel.

Jill Stuart Mix Blush Compact

This is just so pretty. I kept seeing it, and I finally cave and bought it when flying back home on SQ. It cost me $59 and I was attracted to the neon but soft colours of the blush. This is in the shade 110 Harmonious Melody . I like that packaging is just so fun and girly and the blushes is pretty with 4 shades and the connecting travel size brush is an added bonus.  The brush can be detached from the blush. It's a slightly dense brush, soft but doesn't feel as fluffy. On the cheek though, it felt quit nice. It's smooth and firm yet gentle. It's also very pleasing on the skin as compare when you touch it across with you fingers. Quite strange actually. The brush also has a very cute pink jewel that can be push up and hooked to the right to secure it. But sometimes, it can come undone. So that is the only problem I have with the tool.  The blush is pigmented. Pretty and each shade different from each other. There is white highlight, a light sunshine orange, a mandarin o...

Nu-pore Moisturising Gloves

I don't really like this. It's quite sticky after. Well, gives it 10 minutes and your hands feel quite smooth. Not a big fan of the scent after too. It's quite sickly, like spoilt milk mask with something better. So not as bad, but it's still there.  The gloves are fine. It fits me alright. My hands are small, so I don't have any problem. At first it was not so wet, I thought it got dry out. But eventually it starts to get wetter. I don't know, it's weird. This mask also quite hard for me to use my iPad. So a bit irritating for me. I was hoping to read on my tablet. Oh well, wouldn't buy this again.
