The Stuff I'd Used

  I just wanted to try something from innisfree. So I got this cause I need a new scrub. And it's average. I like that it's a mild scrub. And it will lather on to foam. So that's like having 2 in 1. I like it even though it's quite just like that. Nothing really interesting about it. I don't think it really cleanse the pores very well. But it's nice to have some scrub to clean your face sometimes. I only been using it like once every 3/4 days. So I don't think much of a different on me. I just think that this is gentle enough to be able to use daily. 

  Bought this in BKK and it's less than $10 I think. There's a limited shade to choose from and I just take one that I feel it's quite neutral. Glam 1 is a sparkly peachy neutral shade. It's actually quite streaky when applied. You have to really smooth it out for colour to stop running. It's pretty once everything blended through. It appears more sheer and sparkly.  I do like the applicator and I find that after the hard work of blending the shade in, it's a very pretty comfortable "gloss". 

The scent of this is very unique. I don't know how to express it. It's just different from everything else I ever smell. The balm itself is quite good. It can be used in multiple ways. It's good for irritate skin, eczema, sunburn and even cuts. Not sure I will put it over cuts, but it says it can. The only thing I don't like about this is the residue it leaves behind. I feel like my hands becomes quite oily, like after eating fried banana and you only use a tissue to clean your hand. It's just not a comfortable feeling. The "oil" is not there, but you can feel it. So it's not the best soothing cream to me. 

This smells so good. It smells of roses. It's so refreshing. It's calming and it just feels like spring is in the air. And it's very light. A lot of essence, so quite messy. But it's just a very light mask. The scent is also very light. Not overpowering. So it's nice, really soothing. 

They say buy Evian water and transfer it to a spraying bottle, you'll get the Evian spray. I guess it makes sense and you'll save some money. This 50ml cost me $6. So it's not exactly cheap, but I just had to try it. It's just very refreshing. But that's all I notice when using this. 

Really love the sweet pea scent. I think it's my fav from BBW. This still has an alcohol scent after applying. But the sweet pea will eventually take over. It's such a joy to use this. Plus a small gallop is enough to clean your whole hands. Not sure how affective this is at killing germs. But it's good enough to me. At least the alcohol and the dry time really makes me convince that my hands are clean. 

It's a blue liner in shade 3. It just says 3 dessin du regard - eye pencil. It's a blue pencil which is very solid but glide on easily. It has micro silver glitter. So it's not a matte liner, but you can't really see it. The other end of the pencil is the sponge. It's a flat slant top sponge meant for blending. But it's so dense that it can be quite rough on the lid.  I just like this. It's so easy to apply on the lash line. I apply as close to the lash line as possible. And it works. It just gives a very thin clean line. Even though I can't do it in one stroke. But it still gives a very clean line. 

The first time ever I used this, I almost cry. The plumping effect was so painful. It was really the worse gloss I've ever put on. But I decided for some unknown reason to put it on again and the plumping is no longer there. It just become a gloss. So it's not a good product at all. Not consistent at all. And the thing is, once I declare it a gloss, it started to tingle again, so it's like after about 5 minute of use it works. But only for about 3 seconds. Weird product.  It's quite thick and shimmery. This is shade 22. Quite pretty actually. Has a light hint of pink in it. But it hardly shows unless your natural lips is really light. Without the tingling, it's a comfortable gloss to wear. You can still feel it on, but it's not irritating. Oh well, I wouldn't recommend it. 

This sample is way too dark for me. I think they only have a few shades. But I bet the light will be too light for me. I just use a bit of this and try to spread it across the face. It doesn't make my face darker. I used a bit, so the coverage is quite sheer. In term of keeping my face matt, yes it does work except for around my nose area. So this is quite a fail for me.

This has a very light herbal scent. It's actually quite pleasant to put on the skin. It's a normal cream but really smooth and easy to apply on to the skin. It absorbed quite fast, leaving my face feeling very smooth. I definitely can see the radiance straight away. My face looks so much brighter, like as if the glow is from within. Really impressed by this. 

I saw this at Priceline and I just decide to buy it. Cause why not. It's small enough. Seems much better than most of the comb I have lying around. It's a plastic scalp and body massager. It's quite soft and you can bend bristle easily but it won't go out of shape. Well at least as you don't press too hard. The shape is really good for combing hair. I got this at AU$2.95. It's quite expensive for a plastic, but it does it purpose rather well. 

This colour remind me so much of the the Revlon lip stain that I regreted buying. I always find myself buying this kind of colour. Not sure why. This formula is slightly is better. It's less drying, still quite dry and especially if you have chapped lips. But on good day lips, this looks quite decent. And it's a really nice stain to wear. It doesn't exactly stain the lips, but it's longer lasting as compare to glosses or lipsticks. The colour is also a nice metallic neutral pink. The rest of the shades are mostly reds and darker. So I choose this which is more office friendly. But it's not an easy lip product to use. Cause my lips is hardly perfect. 

I guess it's more like a body lotion. It's suppose to moisturise your dry irritate skin. But I just can't take the scent. It's really sour. It does help with dry skin. I never really have irritated skin to begin with, so I don't know how well it will help with that. But ugh I really can't stand the smell. 

This is a very thick watery serum. It's good for night time use, as this leaves my skin looking oily. Not sure how well it helps with aging, but that kind of thing, I guess you do have to use it regularly to really find out. It's not bad, doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. I think it's something you can consider if you want anti aging serum that doesn't really cost a bomb. 

This is quite nice. It doesn't irritate as compare to the others. It's comfortable on. Very cooling, cause I wore this in an air con room. 

No idea what lipgloss is this call. It just states the colour. It's a very plain pacakaging with silver tip. It has a very weird scent. The wand is nice. Flat but has a short tip so it can get into the corner of the lips. It just helps to make it cleaner. The colour is just a milky pink. On good days, it is perfect on the lips. On bad days, the milky part is quite obvious. So you really have to blend it out and hope for the best. But after, it will settle and will gives your lips a glossy natural pink. I guess it just lighten my pigmented lips. So it looks more soft on me.   

Pure DKNY A Drop Of Rose by Donna Karan is a Floral fragrance for women. Pure DKNY A Drop Of Rose was launched in 2012. The fragrance features turkish rose, black currant, magnolia, cedar, verbena and vanilla. This is another sore scent that I like. It's very light but the focus is not on the roses. As in you will smell roses but it's not only that. It's just a very feminine scent. Smell this, just reminds me of spring. And after a few minutes, the roses kind of mingle with the rest of the features. It's a good day perfume. 

Cheeky is a pink color lipstick with a pink gloss. It just doesn't look good on me. I just can't seems to find a good pink. 

Tried this sample out. I'm not sure if this falls under eye cream or it's more of a under eye primer, if there is such a thing. It's just says that it is a undereye gel that will help to smooth the look of puffins and fine lines. It's a salmon cream gel like texture. Similar to most primers. It's really cooling, really nice on. I managed to use the samples twice. The second time, it's a bit harder to apply as it is a bit dry. Personally I feel it does help with puffiness. It's cooling, so it helps. But I think I like it more cause it just makes applying concealer so much smoother. Plus this can be worn alone, under or over makeup. So it's nice. I will probably buy the full size. 

This is not that expensive US$3. But it break me out. It is good at removing makeup and all, but not good for my skin. It's a very wet cloths. So it's really nice without having to tug at your skin. So what I like to use this is when I play with makeup. Like those days when I have good battery life. So I sit down, pull out all the makeup I want to post in the future. And I slowly one by one swatched and stuff. This is good for that. Removing makeup on my hands and lips. But a typical hand wipes do work too. 

Cause they say a nude under the eye is the perfect way to wake up your look. So I tried this. It's a good liner. Super creamy and doesn't tug when applied. But it's so bad for my waterline. It just doesn't want to stay. I think my eyes water too much. I mean I tried and tried and will try again. But I guess I'm not so used to having liner underneath. So my eyes kind of get irritate? But it really do open up your eyes. Plus it's so much for forgiving then white. So I guess I have to keep practicing. 

This is a lipstick, but it feels like a gloss so it's like wearing lipgloss in a lipstick form. Flirty is a very clear shiny glittery shade. It just gives a very glossy finish. It can be worn over other colour and it will look like you are wearing a coat of gloss over it. Like all 17 lipsticks, it's a very soft formula. So it easily melt. It sort of bended on my second use. I don't know, I just don't think it's a very good brand for lipstick. At least not for hot weather Singapore. But I must admit I do prefer topping up "gloss" in this way.

This smells exactly like the lip balm. It's not a scent I like. But I'm used to it. It's very citrusy. It's a good hand cream. Easily absorbed and helps keep your hand rather soft. I can see why this is a favourite for a lot of people. If it is not cause of the scent, I can see that this will be a fav too. I mean it's just light and easy to use. The cap also easily open and close. I got nothing else to say, except ya good hand cream. 

  I prefer this to the other one. The color is more wearable. But you can't really see it in the photo. As this picture is taken of after the tube get dry out. So the color doesn't get transfer properly. Oh well. I guess you have to keep using this. I will still recommend if you only have a few lip product. It's an easy to wear balm with a tint of copper red color. Suppose to be a tad metallic but not obvious at all. Overall, if it doesn't dry out, it's a good balm to have. It's slightly minty. Plus it has SPF. 

This is just so lovely. It's a very herbal like rose scented mask. It's water down jelly kind of texture. It has rose petals in it. I really like it. It's just so soothing and it really calm and hydrate the face.  It will dry on the face after about 10 minutes. It's easy to clean up. I already bought the full size. It's just an easy mask to use. Not messy too. And I really like how my face feels after. The rose scent also not that strong, so it's good for anyone, really. 

  Shade 385. Such a lovely hot pink with micro shimmer in purple and other colours. I like the wand, it just hug the lips really snug. It's quite a thick gloss. Felt sticky, but it wasn't, not really. I mean it's sticky and you can tell that you are wearing gloss. But it's not an annoying feeling having it on. It is just a typical gloss that is pigmented and probably last about an hour or two. But it's really pretty on the lips. Makes lips look super juicy. 

It's just so cute. A small sample, with a small sponge. This is in shade 21 Natural Beige. I don't have any problem with the colour. The bb itself is alright. It's just not as good as the full size. Cause the sample, the sponge will just break apart. You will be left with tiny sponges on your face. Not easy to remove them either. It takes time, as the cream is still sort of wet.    So the product itself is ok. Just not that good for oily skin. And the packaging is not that good as small means can be carry around, but this is not a travel friendly product. The colour is good for me. But the soothing cushion is just not meant for oily skin. I feel never cushion is not meant for oily skin period. But I did buy the full size in the pore control just to see how it's goes. 

  Just look at that gold. It's sparkly! It's gold! Ok, the picture don't do justice to this body wash, but it's just so tempting in real life. I'm just so drawn to it. It's like honey. Golden syrup with golden sparkle. When you use it, then you realise it's just Dettol. It smells like one, it lathers like one and it hydrates like one. At least it's not drying. But it's just basically the same as any Dettol soap I'd used. So nothing really special other than the fact that it's just so pretty in the bathroom. 

  The thing about beautybay own brand is that the packaging is kind of cheap. It's plastic and so doesn't seems much to me. The product also doesn't appear much. But it's always so lovely on. Well at least the ones I've tried. Sultry Ruby is a beautiful reddish shade. A bit pink on my lips. I do quite hate the fact my lips is so pigmented. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful colour. Easy to wear. Quite pigmented. A bit jelly finish. So it's really nice. I think this cost me only $6 but it's a really good lipstick. Sure, the packaging doesn't make it look premium, but it's still a good shade to put on. By right the colour is suppose to be slightly brownish red. But oh well. It's worth the every cent. 

  So this is a double ended mascara. One side is a primer the other side a black mascara. It's a natural bristle wand and not too thin not too fat. It is a lengthening mascara. An average one. It's good for those who already have full lashes. As this will just help to lengthen it. If those with sparse lashes, then it won't be so dramatic like the ads.  I prefer to use it on its own without the primer cause I'm lazy that way. It's very natural looking to me. It coats all my lashes evenly and without any clumps.  If I use with the primer, I find that it can get a little bit clumpy. Plus your lashes will be white in colour. So you have to use the primer then quickly use the mascara. It has to be fast to make sure that the primer doesn't dry up on your lash and thus leaving you with white lashes. So sometime it can get a bit tricky. And it will kind of clump. It doesn't give volume so it's just not pretty.  So in the end, I don't think this is worth the ...
