Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake

I'm a little bit obssessed on eye brow product. Browns always look better on me. But for some reason there are days that it just doesn't suit my face. It's like when I look at myself in the mirror, it just look very weird. So I panicked and tried to find a greyish shade. I decided to open this up and try it. It turned out to be really good.  I think it's just a universal brow product. It has a brown and slightly greyish shade. The brown is also a very light brown. On the brows, don't look too brown. If you have dark brows, the color different cant really be seen. So it's good to apply either shade. Lasting power is not that good. It can last, but you sort of have to touch up if you want to go for a late dinner. The brush is tiny but it's good. At least it's my fav kind for brows. It's slightly thick and coarse but not harsh. So it will fill in the brow and at the same time brush the hair. But it's just small, so holding it is not that nice. The...

Physiogel Lotion

It's just a boring lotion. It looks as such. But it's really good. It's watery. Easy to apply. Dry quickly. A good lotion for the day time. Even so, it's very moisturising. I find that it helps with dry skin. It has no colorants, no scent, no preservatives. It's just a simple body lotion. Lightweight, fast absorbing lotion that strengthen and repair the skin's moisture. So nothing fancy, but it works. So it's good.

L'Occitane Brightening Moisture Cream

Tried this out and I don't really like the scent. There is just this scent that L'Occitane product has. Or at least the skincare samples I've tried. I guess, it's the same series.

Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo

I heard a lot about the brand. So I asked R to buy this for me when he was in Gratz. It's a volumising dry shampoo. Which it really does volumise. I feel that this is a better volumise spray than dry shampoo. It just makes your hair looks fuller. It's really good for those days when your hair just feel flat.  As a dry shampoo, it does ok. Instead of like spraying out "powder", it spray droplets. So it made the hair looks wet. But it dry instantly and white powder form. Then you just have to run it in. It made my hair feels coarse also. So I don't know. I guess that's how it volumise it.  My sis said that this smells like cough syrup. It does have a very strong scent. I am not the biggest fan of the smell. But it doesn't smell like cough syrup to me. It's just very artificial scent. So that's the one thing I'm not giving this the thumbs up. Plus it lingers - on the hair and in the room.

Super Lustrous Lipstick - Icy Violet

There is just something cool about a purple lipstick. This is more of a dull purple. It's a pearl finish so it has that little metallic shine. Surprisingly it's very wearable. I like all the Super Lustrous lipstick so far. They all are pigmented and easy to wear. It goes on smooth and comfortable to use. So it's just the color that sometimes don't really seems to be wearable. This is cause of the name, it's too icy, so it just seems very cold. But luckily it's very nice on the lips.  There is a color - Cherry Blossom, which is my fav from the line. It's a pretty plum shade. But I think it drop out of my bag and it was never seen again. Once I lost that, Icy violet became the color I reached out to use the most. So it just goes to show that this is a good wearable everyday shade. Slightly dual shimmer tone, but not obvious. It just brings a good dimension on the lips.

First Impression: Gatineau Intesive Treatment for Eye Area

This is one of the nicest eye mask I'd ever try. It's very cooling and it's not a big mask. It has 5% collagen, making it very wet but it's not messy to use. At least the essence doesn't drip. What I like about this is just it's cooling and very relaxing. It made you feel really sleepy. Like the mask it's heavy, so you really just feel like doing nothing.  By the way they said you are not suppose to use eye cream or mask so close to your eyes, like I had on here. With cream it spread, so too close will make the product go to your eye which is bad. But with mask is it the same case? I always have the problem of wanting to use the mask as close to the eye as possible. I guess it's bad.

Soo Beaute Jeju Lava Water Mask

Like the packaging of this. It looks so clean and refreshing. It's so hydrating. The mask is indeed hydrating. It's very wet and the mask don't fit as well. But it's ok. It covers the whole face. It's just a nice mask to use to sooth your face.

License To Blot

I just wanted to try this. I can't remember who said that this was the best invention ever. So ya I just had to try it. It's a blotting stick. A triangle 4.3g worth of product. It has a rotating knob at the bottom. It is small enough for the purse but I don't know. I just don't really love it. I still think a powder or blotting paper still works better.  Oh but one thing this works if you do not want to look very matte. This just gives off that fresh look. Like you won't look oily anymore but also not matte. So it's not so fake. If you prefer a dewy finish at least.  I won't say it last for 6 hours, but maybe 3? So for the $39 price tag, this is not worth it in my opinion.

Wake Me Up Concealers

I've been loving these concealers for most of last year. Well ever since I gotten it. I bought one in classic beige. Liked it so much, I bought the Soft Beige. I just wanted to see what's the different. The classic is slightly lighter than my skin tone then, so I decided to buy a shade darker. Turn out Soft Beige is just more pink. Classic is skin tone, a yellow base, Soft is salmony great for under eyes darkness.    I love both shades. And I will be soon finishing these up. It's getting harder to get the full product out. I will have to dip into the tube a few time to get enough product for my whole face. I love both for different reasons. Soft is super good for under the eyes. If I have dark eyes circle, this will be my best friend. It's light enough to don't feel heavy (duh) but it just covers well. So this I use as a corrector. I mean it is call Wake Me Up concealer for a reason. So really meant for under the eye - no creasing.  Classic in "winter" mon...

Supreme Powder Foundation

Got this in the shade OC-405 which is quite close to my skin tone. The swatch makes it look like it's much darker, quite ashy. But on my face, it's actually a bit lighter and so makes my face a bit greyish white. Ok fine. It is kind of ashy but it's a brightening ashy. And after a while, it blends onto my skin. So it's alright.  SPF 20 which is nice for day time.  Powder last quite alright. At first not so good for my oily skin. But eventually it is ok. It can last me the whole working hours. I just grew to love this powder.  The pacakaging and the powder is seperated. I don't like the front of the packaging as it is like a mirror kind. Those fake foil mirror kind. Useless. Can see yourself but also not clear. Fingerprints so easily transfer, so it's so dirty. But the one thing I like is the inside. There is this clear film that will protect the powder from the mirror.  So overall, it's something I would repurchase but in a different shade.

Light Me Up High Shine Lipgloss

I have no idea what shade this is in. It has a C3 on the bottom of the pacakaging. I guess it's the Coral shade. It has a minty scent, slightly tingly and supposed to be non sticky. But it's still sticky. Also not so pigmented on the lips. Can see the color, but just not so obvious. It is a a coral with gold glitter shimmer.  The packaging has a light and a mirror. So once you twist it open, the light will turn on. So you can put this on at night. All in all, it's not really my kind of gloss.

Tony Tint Delight

Got this in shade 01, which is just a cherry red. It's a very nice red, and it's good staining power. I swatched it on my hand, took a picture and I removed with a makeup remover wipe. Stained. I did not take a good picture of the tube. It has a heart shape on the top of the cap. So from top, it's a heart. So cute.  The wand is quite thin, so it's really easy to get the edges of the lips. A good size wand. Easy to handle.  The product is good in term of colouring the lips. Plus it really does stain the lips. After hours, and cleansing oil, my lips will still be stain. At first will be glossy, then it will be matte out. It won't really look drying unless your really zoom on it. The problem though my lips is not evenly pigmented. My natural lips, inner, outer, top and bottom is a different shade. So the colour  does not evenly distributed. That's why it's darker on the inside of the lips. It's just so obvious.  I probably don't look good with any sta...

Revolution Lipstick - Turn On

Got this on a whimp. I usually just buy things cause my hand is itchy. I must admit I am a shopaholic.  This is so smooth on the lips. It's comfortable but I can feel that I have lipstick on. It's very pigmented and transfer easily on the lips. It's true to the colour on the tube. It's just a bright but dull pink. Like a magenta shade but more nuetral. I guess it has more purple tone than pink. It has no scent and no taste so perfect for anyone who is sensitive to scents. For £12.24 on sale, it's alright. I mean for the feel of the tube, I love the packaging, and the pigmentation. It's a fair price.

Biore Cleansing Water

My number 1 choice of makeup remover is still the Biore line. I like their makeup wipes, the oil and now the water. It's basically just water that can so call remove waterproof mascara. How well? Pretty alright. I don't really use heavy makeup. I don't have super hard to remove mascara, so this works well on me. It cleanse the skin and remove most trace of makeup.    Actually, what I like to do is use a cleansing wipe to remove the makeup then use this and cotton to remove whatever is left. If not, I have to use about 4 cotton pads to roughly remove all makeup.  The Biore one as compare to the rest so far is that, this has a snout of a pump. So it's actually easier to get the product out. If press too hard, it can get messy but I mean you just learn to use it along the way.  So overall, it is not bad. The price point is also ok. Bought mine at $15.90 for a 300ml bottle. I mean for all I know they only have it in one size. So yea, not bad.

Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water

Fluer loves this so I had to try it. I like it cause it has a pump. Plus the product will pool up at the base of the pump thingy. It does well removing all trace of makeup. It has a very strong scent. I can't really put a finger of what it smells like, but it's scented. Plus the more I use this the more I realized how sticky this actually feels. It has a residue. So that's the downside of this. Other than that, the water is really good. The packaging is also nice.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water

This is quite messy to get the product out. If you tilt it, mess! If you cover it with a pad, a bit will come out. Then you squeeze the bottle, mess! So gentle hands is needed for this baby. It's a good product. Remove makeup well. Seems quite gentle. But I still prefer the Garnier by a bit more. This also has a slight scent to it. Like a bit alcohol scent.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I'm on a micellar water run. I want to try them all. So I been trying out the Garnier one. And I do like it. It removes makeup very well. It has no pump but it easily disperse out the water. Also good cause can use cotton bud to get a bit of water without it spilling all over. 400ml = 200 uses. Not sure about that as a full face of makeup, I have to use about 5 cotton pads.  It's slightly more soapy but it doesn't feel like it has soap. It's just on the pad you can see the soap, that foam when soap foam up. Does that make sense? But Ya that is the difference between this and Bioderma or others that I'd try.  For 400ml, less than £5, it's two thumbs up.

Hauls

New year, new beginning, new things! But I would like to share my biggest buy of the uear 2015.  There was a $5 per bottle on TBS shower gel. I bought 5 bottles. 2 Fobidden Flower , which smells really good. Very sexy, very grown up, date night kind of scent. Strawberry is one of my fav as usual. It's very sweet and nice. Virgin Mojito is very fresh. It's a limited edition scent I think. It's just very lime but not so sour. Satsuma is very energizing and fresh. And I like it the best for morning. A really good waking up scent.     Another thing I always feel happy is going to Chinatown and buy from SwanSton. It's a shop near OG, I don't really know the exact address. But it's just has the cheapest, well the cheapest I could find anyway. I usually like to buy my Biore Cleansing Wipes. As it was the cheapest I found, $8.90 if I'm not wrong.  Toothbrushes and toothpaste is also affordable there. Like this Sensodyne which cost $7.90 outside is only $3.90 at Swan...
