MUA Black Lipstick

Happy Halloween! It's tomorrow what the heck. You kind of need to plan ahead. But as usual, I don't have anything going on. So I just thought of putting on black lipstick. I always wanted to be able to pull the look of wearing black lipstick. If I smile often, I seriously think this looks good. Even for me, it is a good contrasting colour. I like it. It's not easy to use as its a dark colour. But overall all MUA lipsticks is good. The price is good so the quality is fine for the price, well even better than I expect. So yeah, one day I will wear it out.

First Impression: Collagen Essence Mask - Natural Herb

The shape if the mask doesn't really suit my face. So it's a bit off for me. This is for restoring, purifying and moisturising. It's a bit tingly at some part of the face. I'm sure it is not suppose to. It sort of irritate my face but it's still bearable. This doesn't have a scent. Overall it feels moisturising, so it's ok enough for me.

Fit Me Concealers

A lot of raves about these. I just had to try them. Bought this at Europe with a help from a friend. And seriously the shade is just so off when choosing it from the net. There is no name, just numbers. Not sure how that friend come out with 2 very contrasting colors, but there is that.  15 is way too light for me. 30 is way too dark. Even if used as a cream contour, it's too dark. When I mix them, at least it's more wearable. Still on the darker side though.  The product itself is ok. It's creamy and pigmented. Doesn't seems to crease but I find that it won't last. I am also unsure if it's the color or the coverage that is just not that strong.

1 Day Tattoo Set

I bought the wrong one. I wanted some Japanese mascara that people said was good I don't really know what is the brand, but it's just one of those brands that you see hanging around at Watsons with the rest of the mascaras and eyeliners. Anyway, this is not that bad. This is the 2 in 1 which consist of 1 Day Lash Perm in Black and 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Eyeliner in Super Black. Mascara is a dry one. I like it. It's a good natural mascara if you just lightly coat your lash. Or a dramatic mascara if you use more. It sort of clump but a good lash seperator brush thing can help. Anyway the more you use it, it doesn't seems to clump anymore. it just coat every lashes and turn them really black, quite dramatic but not volumous. I like that my lashes get sort of curl even though I don't curl it. The wand is nice. It is not flexible so it has a lot of control. The wand is curve with a lot of different length britles. The eyeliner is quite good. After a few seconds, it sets. N...

Colour Elixir Giant Pen - Designer Blossom

A shiny red, this is very glossy. It appears more like a gloss. A tad bit sticky but that's what will make it last longer. The color is actually quite sheer. But it will stain your lips, once the shine is gone. I kind of like the stained color. It's so bright and Popsicle looking if you know what I mean.  It is not a bad thing. Just not really a big fan of this. I like the Foxy Amber better. For some reason this just is not as comfortable on the lips as that.

First Impression: Lierac Masque Cmnfort

This has a verh nice scent. It's sweet, but not candy sweet. The mask is quite a thick cream that makes layering very uneven. It is ok though as in the end, you just put on as long as it covers everything. It is also a pink, a light pink mask, so its quite fun. It appears more white on the face. This mask burn my face. After putting on for 15 seconds, it just hurt my face. I felt like my face was burning. And it is mostly on my forehead and chin. Even after removing it with water and putting cooling gel, it still felt burn. It is bad. After an hour, still same. Plus it travel all the way to my eyes. It's like putting those heating oilment with your hands and you accidentally rub your eyes or after holding chili and you accidentally rub your eyes. It feels that way. Luckily my face did not turn red. So this is the first NO product for me.

Detangling Brush

It can be used on wet or dry hair. It claims to tackle hair tangles and leaves hair shaft define and frizz free.  Its a plastic hair brush which is hard and rigid for combing. At least on the scalp. For the rest of the hair length, it's ok as it doesn't touch the skin. So it's not hard and painful. It does glide easily. So it does do its job of tangling hair. Then again, my hais in the first place is not that tangled. But I guess cause of the wide comb bristle, if just makes it easy to comb through the hair.  My hais is also very thin and fragile. So I feel that it pulls at my hair a tad too much. A lot of hair will be pull out, but it doesn't really tug at it. Plus I am used to small hair brush, so this is quite too big for me. I think this will be better for those who have beautiful thick hair. It will definitely help them.

Dior 3 Couleurs Smoky in 481 Smoky Khaki

It is basically translate to ready-to-wear smoky eyes palette. It's a khaki shades, which is a unique shade. It will make a really pretty smokey eyes. Not the typical grey or purple smokey eyes. The packaging is also quite unique as you have to push the cover instead and it will pop up.  Shadows are smooth, pigmented and shimmery. A Greenish grey, metallic sort of glittery black silver and a shimmery gold. The glittery is a bit rougher than the other colours. But this is first time I'm quite impress with Dior shadows. Usually they fade or blend upon application. At least these ones the color doesn't really move around. At it lasted better than the ones I tried. So I really do like this.

Atkinsons The Nuptial Bouquet

Got this from a friend. She's not a big fan of different scents. While I just love trying out new things.  The Nuptial Bouquet by Atkinsons is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. The Nuptial Bouquet was launched in 2013. The fragrance features lily-of-the-valley, violet, myrtle, sandalwood and musk. This is an EDT, but the scent is quite strong. Like a lily version of Chanel 5. I may be way off, but that's what it remind me off. First sniff is nice, but it got very overpowering. From a subtle hint of lily to something more musky. A bit too sharp in the end. So initially it's nice, it turn into something quite pungent in my opinion. So take a sniff and turn away.

Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair

This doesn't work as what it claimed. My skin not fair, but it doesn't even help to prevent me from having a tan. I mean I sort of use it after sun lotion. As I don't want to tan, but it doesn't help. I guess this product is not even for me, but you know at least it is Vaseline so it should be good. But in term of moisturizer, it is average. Takes time to sink into the skin, so overall not my favorite from Vaseline.

Instain in Toile

Other than lipsticks, I have way too many blush to last me a lifetime. But I just can't help it. I love blushers. I love the "girly" colors. Ok, the feminine colors. They are just so pretty. I especially love this. It's so long lasting. I thought my MAC prolong blush is good, this is even better. It really stay put. It doesn't turn oily on the cheeks. It just really stain the cheek. But a makeup wipes easily remove the color. So Ya. I really like this.

Lock N Hold Lipgloss

This is in shade Body Pop 1, a light pink. It's a sort of light neon pink, but on me, it's a pale pink. A bit on the milky side, but very pale on me. I guess cause I have pigmented lips, so it doesn't appear well. It claimed to last for 6 hours. But it doesn't. It's a bit sticky, but comfortable. Wouldn't repurchase in any other shade, but it's ok. The wand is also alright.

REN T-zone Control Cleansing Gel

I like this. The packaging is vacuum type, so the product kept coming up instead of being stuck on at the bottom of the bottle. The pump also disperse the right amount of product. One pump is just enough for my whole face. I really like this cause it does help with controlling the t-zone. I find that my face is less oily. This doesn't foam up, so it can be a bit hard to use tools to wash the face. But it's really a good product.

Nuxe Skin Perfecting Purifying Lotion

It is a nice toner. But just a toner, nothing so special about it. But it doesn't leave me oily so that's good. It just those toner that you know is good but not something that I will personally go out my way to find. But if I really no toner, (impossible) I will consider buying this.

ELF High Definition Powder

The dupe of the much rave Makeup Forever HD powder. Personally I'm not a fan of loose powder. So this is just ok for me. I guess it is finely milled and all, and it does highlight your face in a good way. But application is messy. It's slightly whiter, so it sort of "whiten" your face if you are not fair skin. I sort of like this is if I'm going out for a dinner and not much photo will be taken. They say it will give out white cast, but it doesn't on me. I guess I didn't wear enough. But this last forever. So it's really value for money. A good dupe to try.

Lipstick Queen Liptropolis Vol 1

I love lipstick, so naturally I want try this. This is a story of lipstick in New York. More exactly created in mind for 3 neighborhood in NY. Each color says something about the women who resides in those neighborhood. The packaging is a really cool magnetic closer book. It's bulky, but really nice if you can get more. It will be like a nice collection of "books" on the shelf.    So let's take a look at the lipsticks.     Upper East, the elegant nude. How is this nude? I guess it's a neutral shade. A more wearable shade. It gives the lips a light wash of color. It's more watermelon pink. A sheer jelly like finish.     Central Park, the refined peach. This is so not peach. It's more of a bright pink. It looks more red on the tube.  It's quite loud. It's more pigmented than the rest. It's just a beautiful color on the lips. Really will help to brighten up the face. It's a shiny finish.    Soho, the fashionable red. This looks dark in...

VS Ravishing Love Hand and Body Cream

This is quite average thick but easily blend into the skin. It's a very nice scent. A bit mature and sensual. A blend of blackberry and lilac. It takes sometime for it to sink into the skin. The one thing I don't like is that it takes forever to finish the whole tub. I guess that's good, but I just get bored by it.

SpectraBAN Sun Block Cream

Sunblock SPF60, it's really good. High SPF. Anyway, it's a thick sunblock. Take awhile to rub it in. Once absorbed, it is not sticky. So yes not bad.
