Catrice Eyebrow Set

I wanted a new eyebrow set. Sure I have the Inglot one. But at the moment I forgot I had them. So this is cool as it's only one type so it's easy to just grab and pay. No need to wonder if it will match you. The one thing I don't like is the fact that it's bulky. Well it is small but still quite fat in my opinion. It comes with two, more greyish brown shades. Not exactly brown not exactly grey.  The lighter shade is quite patchy. A good amount have to be used for it to cover nicely. Unless you have no brows. If not it's still a good pigmentation on the brow. A good taupe color. The darker shade is quite pigmented. A really dark brownish grey. The colors can be layered too. It will soften the darker shade. And I feel that which shade you use first matter. Well not much different but it differ slightly.  The kit also comes with a mini tweezer - so cute, and a double ended brush and spoolie. It's quite small, so I don't really use it. Back to the shadows, overa...

Healthy Summer Skin

Who doesn't what a healthy glowing summer skin?! Seriously though, the haze is just so terrible these past few days, my skin feels as grey. It supposed to be the last few months of summer here. Well, the temperature will get cooler in December and January. At least based on last year weather. If not, it will be hot all year round. You are just so used to the hot weather, or the office air conditioned room that you forgot to pay extra attention to your skin. I'm guilty too, my skin was looking rather dull. That is why I signed up for an outdoor activity! I went for #soulscape at Sentosa. We wanted a whole day of fun under the sun, but doing yoga when the haze was strong was not such a good idea. Nobody expected the haze. So it was a really disappointing day. No healthy glowing tan skin for me that day, which made me rather sad. So we just have to fake it till we made it. No. 1 a healthy glow comes from within. Drink plenty of fluids to hydrate oneself. Coconut water helps. It...

MAC Eye Kohl in Rosemary & Thyme

Beautiful olive green with a shimmer. It's a duo chrome liner. One swipe and it comes out as metallic dirty olive green. Go over a few times and the green becomes more green. Go over twice, the shade will be in between. Such a fun product to use. One pencil and it can gives you 3 colors. This is more on a golden metallic shimmer, so it's a pretty warm tone. As a kohl liner, it doesn't set, so this is just good as a shadow base. Or to tight line if your eyes is not so sensitive. But if you don't have hooded eyelid, this will be pretty on its own. I do love the color very much. It's just so unique.

Pure Beauty Pomegranate Anyioxidang Cleansing Facial Wipes

I was so attracted to the shiny metallic red packaging. This is only $4 from Watsons? I can't remember but it wasn't expensive. What I like bout this is that it has raised dots on one side. So it is so call exfoliate your face as you wipe them. But it removes make up well. For the price, it's really good. It's just one of those wipes that one sheet is enough but you know you still need to wash your face. It never even say it will remove makeup, but it does. Waterproof mascara not tested, cause my mascara are all not waterproof at the moment. But at least I enjoy this slightly more than the Watsons wipes.

Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment

This is light, it doesn't even feel like you use a treatment. It's more of like a watery moisturizer. It doesn't dry up the skin, it absorb into the skin. So it doesn't feel like you are using a pimple cream. In term of effectiveness, I guess it is alright. If you have heavy breakage, this will not help. A tiny spot here and there, it sort of did. But then again, without the cream, it will just disappear on its own. But maybe it does help, but you just can't really see it. I'm not sure. I just use it and hope. That's the thing with serum isn't it, you use it hoping it will pay off.

Kate 32

Something neutral, something sweet, something pastel. Well it's not exactly pastel but it's a soft color. So soft that it's the perfect spring to summer colour. It's really pretty when swatch. On my pigmented lips, not so much. So have to conceal the lips before using this to get the actual color. It's a coral neutral, more on a salmon side. In any case, the Kate lipsticks are good. So I enjoy using them regardless. The way I use this though is to tap the colors on the lips. So it becomes a very soft stain of color. It's pretty, especially on a fair skin person. With a tan, not so much.

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier

I have the travel size Skin Purifier, then I was given an even smaller sample. It's even better for travel as it's so much smaller. But the bigger one has a stopper so the oil will drop will come out one by one. The green one has a bigger opening, so you have to pour it out.   To use this: a few pump, if the original size, or just a few drops as you see fit on dry hands. Spread gently onto dry face and massage face. Add a few drop of water to face. The oil will turn milky. Rinse face with water.    Whitefficient   Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil is for whitening concerns. It is  light-textured oil with Vitamin C, empowered with Fruit Acid Mix to remove accumulated melanin for a pristine, clear, visibly transparent skin. I like this. The scent is nice. It's good at removing stubborn makeup.  Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O Advance Formula (Anti/Oxi Skin Refining Anti-dullness Cleansing Oil)  is to remove dullness for a clear, glowing complexion...

Mica Bella Brush Set

I got this purely on how compact the set was. The brushes are tiny and the case can be a stand. It's just cool. Sadly I broke the last brush holder. And the holders are small and can only fit certain size brushes, which is quite hard to replace. So once this brush "expired", I can't replace them. I never think that through. This is also not that cheap. It cost me $49 on sale, if I'm wrong. I seriously do not know why I purchase it. I don't usually spend money excessively. Must be the too good to be true sale and a little moody day that I just have to buy things.  This come with 9 brushes. Well, 6 hair brushes, a sponge, a smudger and a lash comb seperator tool. The tool is ok, not the best I've used but still handy to have around. Sponge and smudger, not my favorite.  The hair ones are good. Is that weird calling them the hair ones? Anyway, there is a tiny brush which is for eyeliner, the one I broke the holder off. It's small enough and can be use as ...

Neal's Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture

I like this. It's very watery, but it sinks into the skin quite well. It doesn't leave me oily. I use this at night, and when I wake up, my face feels hydrated without it being oily. It's really nice but I don't think it will be good to use this in the morning as under the sun, I tend to melt. The scent is quite weird, a bit of a mix of herbal and floral so I don't like it as much. Other than that, it's not bad.

Rimmel Wonder'Full

I finally gotten around to use this. I bought this a year ago when it was just newly released out to the market. I have this habit of buying and keeping them. I have a collection of new mascara in a box and I still buy more. Cause it's so much cheaper to buy them overseas and I am still finding the one. That's a lie, I do have a few favorites but I just like trying out new ones. So I kept buying them and you know with mascara every other month, a new must have will launch, how can you resist?   This one claim to have argan oil, that's why it is so wonderfull for your lashes and the fact that it is suppose to make your lashes look fuller. Honestly, it's average. It's a wet formula and after 3 months, it's still wet. It doesn't dry up. It doesn't have that disgusting mascara scent, so that's nice. The wand is a flexible plastic with tiny spikes. The tip is just a ball of nothingness. You would think that the wand will be good for seperation of lashes, ...

DHC Lip Cream

This is quite pricey, $17 if I'm wrong. Anyway I guess it's no surprise as everything is in Japanese and there seem to be some award or another. But it's not that good. I like that the balm is thin so it's easy to control when applying. But for a clear balm it doesn't matter. It's average. A good base for lipstick but for a nourishing balm, this is not it. You have to use a lot of it and it smells kind of waxy.  I guess this wil be nice for those with thin lips as it will suit just nice. But for me, I just not a fan. I mean considering the price I want a really good product not just an average balm. Oh well, chapped lips stay away, but for dry lips, this is ok.

First Impression: Cellilux Glacial Mineral Gel

Finally tried this after so long. It's a really good clay mask. Even though I only manage to use this once cause. Cause the product fell out when I squeeze it out, so just nice only enough for a face. It spreads on easy. It's tingly. It tightens when dry and makes your whole face feels really tight and good. I feel the mask is similar as GlamGlow just without the chunky seaweed. Plus this is so much easier to clean off.  My face feels really clean and fresh. So smooth and the mask doesn't stink. The tingling also wasn't pain but I still will not recommend it for sensitive skin. Overall it's a really good mask.

The Therapy anti-aging moisturing cream

This is a thick but really easy to blend in. It's absorb into the skin quite fast. The only thing I have to say about this is that it is too moisturizing for me. That is why I am quite afraid of anti aging products. Anyway, this moisturizer leaves me quite oily in the morning. I use it only at night and wakes up with an oily face. Oh well, not a fan.

EB Ultra Slick Lipstick

This is in the shade Endless Dream which is a hot pink shade but it's very wearable. It kind of looks purple in different lighting. The formula is creamy and glides on very well. It actually kind of remind me the Ck one, I guess it's cause of the smell. Well not really the same scent but I don't know just remind me of that. It's quite comfortable on the lips and I like the fact that it sort of stain the lips after it long disappear off my lips. I guess cause the color is just a bright pigmented one. The casing is light but super sturdy. The cap will click shut. So it's very secure inside a bag. Not a fan of the price. I think this is around £20. So quite ex for Singapore me. Anyway the lipstick is brighter than on the picture shown below. But in the tube it's a muted neutral pink which is what I wanted. But who knows why on my lips it becomes pink. Still gorgeous though.

MT Charcoal

Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub is an average scrub. It's very gentle, but I am not a big fan of. It doesn't do anything for my face and I fear this is the reason I am continuing with my breakouts. Not that I can control it, but this may be the culprit.  Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser is a bit better. It's a gel so it's super gooey and it's black. It cleans make up off but in term of deep pore cleanser, I just don't feel it. So a bit blah.  So much raves on the Michael Tood products and yet I don't think they are good. I'd tried a few things, they re just average. Or maybe it's just my skin. Anyway, it must be working of people are still buying. I guess it's just not for me.

Look Bronzer Powder

Suddenly I have a love for bronzer. I think it's just an excuse for me to collect something I don't have a lot of. So I just grab more bronzer and this is in a shade 4 Honey Gold. This is a beautiful shimmery bronzer. It's really shimmery, more glittery than any bronzer I own. It swatch really nice, but using a brush, a lot of the colour gets wash off so only the glitter kind of stay. So a light application across the face is the only way to use this. Or just a blush with highlight. Cause the colour can't really be seen on my face. So it's an ok bronzer, easy to use, good for beginner, and that's about it.

b.pretty Remover Towels

This is so convinient to have around. Cause it's so small and comes in 10s. It's a makeup remover sheet that is quite gentle but removes makeup well. The texture really feels more like a wet tissue. The only think I can't stand is the scent. It's a bit sweet but it just has a scent that I can't stand. I don't get irritate by scented products in fact I love them. But I don't like this scent. So if you can overcome the scent, it's actually a good product. Plus it's only €0.99.

MUA Blush Comparison

I just bought the whole new MUA £1 blushes. I think they are £1. There were 6 shades. So I gathered I will test them all and compare them.       Marshmallow - a hot magenta. Or maybe a slight neon purple. It's smooth to the touch, very pigmented. On the cheeks, it's more of a purple hue, need to really get the pigments on the brush.   Bubble Gum - a muted pinkish red. Not exactly shimmery, but it's not that matte either. I guess it's more of a coated glow. It's quite pigmented, but use with a brush the colour payoff is just right. The fallout is not as bad as the rest.   Candyfloss - a lilac pink with shimmer. Pigmentation is not bad. One wipe across the cheek is good. Not bad, I like it. But the fallout. It's ok it you use your hands but with a brush is just messy.   Cupcake - a light neutral shade. Quite powdery, pigmented when swatched, but using a brush cannot really see.   Lolly - a pastel neutral orange. Well, a bit ...
