The Stuff I'd Used

I had these 2 samples. The only other bb cushion is the Dr. Jart bounce bb . It is the same concept, where application is by using the special puff. Well they claim that it is special. Laneige one, the bb cream is contained by the sponge. So the product is being soaked by a sponge. For the Dr. Jart, the cream is being separated by a net that filter the product. But I feel the concept is the same, cause in the end you don't use get much of the product at one time. Plus the other different is, the Laneige one only lasted me 3 uses. Laneige ones are also SPF50, as compare to Dr. Jart's 30. This is the BB cushion. It is whitening, moisturizing, sunscreen, water resistant, soothing, and makeup effects, which is probably to give a clean base. This is BB cushion [pore control]. It has pore coverage, gives a semi-matt finish, water resistant, longlasting, sunscreen and cooling effects. I wore them side by side, but I really don't see a difference. A whitening mask that doesn't break me out. Apparently arbutin reduce the production of melanin, which is the substance responsible for tanning. So yes, we got all these masks, but personally I have no idea what they are for. Plus the more I use them, it is just something that is just for fun. Cause to be honest these Taiwan masks doesn't do much for me. It just feels nice on the skin. It's cooling and with the essence makes my skin more moisturise. That's about it. Some masks, sure, you can see a difference. But most of the time, I can't. Not sure if it's just me being ignorance. A way, the scent of the mask is nice. Very subtle, but still nice.

Manhattan lip lacquer in Rose & Shine is a beautiful mauve rose. It is super pigmented but a pity it is not a stain. As a liquid lipstick, it does a good job to bring out the color, and glossiness of the product. The applicator has a little scoop. But take a look at the packaging, you will scream Apocalips! Even the scent is the same. Everything about it is the same. I think Manhattan and Rimmel is like Maxfactor and Cover Girl. But I might be wrong. Ok, I've checked. They both are own by Coty, who owns lots of Celebrity perfume, NYC, OPI, Philosophy, to name a few. So it's no wonder the products are pretty similar. I love the color! It's just so pink. So mauve. So nuetral but it's not boring. It just makes your lips look so much fuller. Just wanted to try Lord & Berry. Concealer was on sale, so it was the perfect opportunity. I am obsessed with concealers now, lots of things to hide on my face. This is in the shade Sand which is lighter than my skin tone. A bit on the pinker side, perfect for under the eyes. It is a medium coverage concealer. It can cover under eyes blackness, but it won't last long. It is best apply using the sponge on the other side of the product. Dab the sponge to blend in the concealer and it gives a better coverage. Overall, it is fine but it is not something I would highly recommend.   

I finally finished up a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle. It's an EDP, so it's strong and therefore just a few spritz is enough to last. The scent is very strong but it will spread out on the skin and it becomes more mild. It is like a powered scent but not those baby powder. It's a very woman perfume. Not flowery, not musky, not sweet and not spicy. It is fresh, but not those out of shower fresh, soap scent I guess; it is also not, hmmm. It smells nice obviously, if not I wouldn't be finishing the bottle, but I just don't know how to describe it.  The composition is focused on two characteristic ingredients of  Chanel  editions – jasmine absolute and May rose absolute. Delicate flowers are enhanced and enriched with a touch of Florentine iris.  Top notes of  Coco Mademoiselle Parfum  incorporate Sicilian oranges, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian grapefruit. I love this. It's one of the better facial wipes I used. The sheet are huge and wet. So it's really easy to use for removing makeup. Had this from Bellabox and sadly they no longer operate in Singapore. So I am not sure where else I can get this from. This is just a travel 5 wipes size. So it really is the perfect wipes to bring for traveling. If you can find this, give it a try.   

My skin I decided is really sensitive to whitening product. It just seems that everytime I tried using a whitening product, my face will break out. But so my family use Shiseido and it suits them, so they ask me to give Shiseido a chance despite the White Lucent being a whitening product. Or more correct is to help fight dark spots.    Brightening Balancing Softener W  is a refreshing whitening lotion that softens and immediately hydrates skin for an optimally refined, luminous complexion. Well, seriously as toner goes, it's just a toner. It does hydrate my skin which is weird cause the scent of alcohol is quite noticeable. It dries in maybe 10 seconds but I have to let it dry longer, if not my face will be quite sticky. It is cooling, and I feel it will be a great face mist for people with normal skin. So pretty with all the rose gold packaging. I never tried Topshop makeup cause it doesn't look as appealing in Singapore as when you were in UK. Anyway, I just wanted this collection cause basically it's Topshop best sellers products. And what better way to try them out then to just get the ones in the pretty packaging. So I have 3 of the lipsticks, Innocent, Rio Rio, and Bequiled. Am missing Ohh La La, which is a coral pink and Nevada which is a nude. The nail polish I have 2, Boy Next Door and Parma Violet. Missing Heart of Gold, Adrenalin and Green Room. Then I have the rest of the anniversary collection. So let start with the lipstick. Innocent is a light pink. Surprisingly, I can wear this with no problem. The color does suit me just fine. It is yore pigmented but you can't always rub your lips as the colors will not be even. So I have to be uite careful using this. But it's a good lipstick. A comfortable pink.  Rio Rio is an orange red. Well it is a warm red but...

It smells so orange. At first I couldn't stand it, but eventually it smells nice. Well not for nighttime as I got distracted by the scent. The texture is really nice. It's very smooth and surprisingly really moisturizing. It applies and glides on easy. It doesn't look thick on the lips, but it's nice to rub your lips together. So it feels good on the lips. The best part is that it will helps with crack lips. I put this on at night, and the next day, my lips are back to normal. It really makes my chapped lips disappear. For a normal balm texture like thingy, it is awesome! Oh I feel the smoothness can be comparable to Fresh, but the packaging of this is still in plastic, so it doesn't have that luxurious feeling. Just the scent is expensive but that I don't really like. The bad thing bout this is that it turn into glue. Like sticky and stink. This is to restore facial support, making skin regains comfort and radiance. It's a rather thick moisturiser that's not as easy to glide on the skin as I would like. But once blended out, it is quite a nice texture. It sinks into the skin quite fast. Skin feels smooth after. But I like it under air con room cause it just work. It is just better cause it is cold. In humid weather, this makes my skin looks oily. I guess cause it is rich, as anti aging product tend to be, that is why this is more suited for dry skin. But I mean, it is not bad for oily skin too. But it can just feel quite heavy that's all.

Ever since I got my chocolate bar, I feel everything else I just put to one side. So I put my Too Faced aside, or at least at an angle that makes it hard to take out, therefore I am forced to use my other shadows. I don't really use eye shadows as much, but sometimes it is nice to make up a bit. A simple lid color will usually do. So this is where this Vivo Smokey Moods comes in. It's a 3 color shadows which is simple to use. It also comes with a liquid eyeliner, but that is just dried out. Such a total fail, so I throw that away. The shadows are good. It's easy to use, it's pigmented. Well, they are quite soft and can be quite crumbly, but still smooth to touch. I think this cost me £3 or 4, so can't expect much out of it. Still a good trio but I feel they are more suited for nighttime. The colors are good for a smokey eye, well I guess you can guess from the name of the palette. The shadows are glittery. A vanilla white for highlight, a taupe and a brownish shade....

So much raves about this cleanser that I just have to try it. It's not a cheap cleanser by my standard. So I was disappointed when I find that this doesn't really do much for my skin. It doesn't help with my zits. In fact it made them worse. Still, I persist. Only towards the last 1/4 of the product that I find it ok, not in love but just ok. It became a normal cleanser for me. Still doesn't do much, but at least it doesn't irritate my skin much longer. So I don't really see what the raves are all about. But here is what it does. It cleans makeup off. It does helps get rid of oil. It doesn't leave your skin oily. Well, it helps control the oil for about 8ish hours. So that's quite good. But I really do need a cleanser for my erupting face. And this is suppose to be suitable for sensitive skin, and it just is average for me. Maybe it will suit for really sensitive skin so much better, but this is just not for me. I will try the red packaging next, hopeful...

This is an average mascara. It does help to lengthen lashes by volumising them. The wand is just super huge that it always smudge when applying. The mascara is alright. It is not too wet, not too dry. It gives really good natural length, thicker lashes. But the wand really just way bigger than my eyes. So, it's not a nice mascara to use.

A deeply replenishing night treatment is a very thick cream. So thick, that it is so hard to apply to the face. The direction say to use just a pea size and warm it up with fingertips the spread out on to face. It definitely is much easier. It feels nice too. Just still a bit sticky, and looks oily. Surprisingly, it doesn't look oily in the morning. Quite impress with this. But I wouldn't buy the full size.

I have here 3 Kreastase Elixir Ultime deluxe samples. Mot exactly deluxe as each sample is 3ml. These are beautifying scented oily that can be used on wet or dry hair. These are made in Spain and the samples are cute as they are small and you only need one or two pumps of oil. In this case is just drops.  The purple one is Oleo-Complexe + Rose Millenaire which is for fine and sensitized hair. To protect and nourish hair making them look shiny and smooth with a lightweight touch, feeling rejuvenated. The scent is nice, quite perfumy. More flower like scent.  The pink one is Oleo-Complexe + The Imperial which is for colour treated hair. The imperial is basically with imperial tea extract. Also the same to protect and nourish, look radiant and glossy with a sensual softness. This has a light scent. A different kind of perfume scent. It is not so strong, and it seems to fade, but eventually it lingers on. Like it takes time for the scent to show through.  The green one is...

I love this. It's different from other pencil/pen lip product I've tried so far. This one is more like a lipstick. The texture at least. The finish is slight glossy pigmented shade. It feels quite weird when applying this. Even after all these time, I still feel like it's suppose to glide like a balm. It isn't hard to glide, but it is more like a lipstick. So it is much more creamy and thicker. It is all good. Plus I finally found a good light pink that suit me. The best part is that this will stain the lips after. Leaving a shade darker than the light pink. The stain will not last forever but at least once the shine is gone, it will still leave your lips with colour. Now I just want more colours to try. And this will last so much longer than the average jumbo lip pen as its a harder formula.

Trying out peeling mask. I used to love peeling mask the most as it is fun to peel them off once it's dry. But this one doesn't get dry. The scent is alright, the texture is translucent milky white which is clear on the skin. It is sticky and feels sticky. After putting on for 40min it doesn't appear to be drying. After the 25 min mark, my fave starts to feel uncomfortable already. I guess that is already telling me to remove the mask, but I was persistent. In the end I use water and a sponge to remove the mask. So this is a fail for me. 

I do like this. This is in shade 2 Moyen Medium. I just think it is medium. Anyway, it is not exactly brown nor it is grey. It is sort of a dark brown with a greying undertone. It just suits me. I suit towards brownish brow color. Grey is ok, but brown is better. Even though makeup artist or those SA will look at me and tell me I will use the darker shade (greyish tone) on you as I think it will suit your complexion better. Then they will compare it with a brown and they will be, oh yes the brown is better. So no matter how the rules is set up, sometimes people break them cause everyone is just different. Anyway, which is why this is perfect. Grey looks ok, brown looks better. This one is both. A pencil form which needs to be sharpen, but the price justify for it. This cost $15? I can't remember I lost my note on prices. But this is smooth to apply. Easily glide onto the brows. Has a little waxy texture this keeping hair in place and lasting longer. A good brow pencil.
