Color Whisper

I wanted one of these so badly. Some says they are better than Revlon lip butter. Personally I prefer Revlon's. I don't know how to categories these, so I will just put them as lip butter. It is just more of a colored lip balm. It feels like that. They feel light, really like a whisper on your lips. Pigmented yes, but not all of them. I get the colors people said are the most pigmented. I also think that they swatched beautifully but lacking in reality. On the lips, they are quite sheer and doesn't feel as nice. Cause they are just so thin, it's like a layer of something, not that comfortable. I mean it's thin but you can feel it. It's hard to explain. Anyway the colors I have here are beautiful nonetheless. This is a purple shade A Plum Prospect. It's very sheer pinkish purple. I guess cause my lips are pigmented, that's why the color will show more as it is just deeper. Red Around Town is a sheer red, that is more warm and towards the orange side of th...

First Aid 360 Eye Mask

This is quite a thick eye cream. I mean it doesn't look that way, but it feels thick when you use it. It does absorb fairly well so that's good. Doesn't really remove black eyes but I do notice that it reduce my puffy eyes. So not bad at all.

EcoTools Six Pieces Essential Eye Set

This brush set makes it easy to complete any eye look. Use the large eye brush to blend a base shadow over the entire eyelid. The angled crease brush adds definition to the outer crease of your eye, while the petite eye shading brush is perfect for an accent color. Use the highlighting brush to accentuate the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes. Complete the look with the smudge brush by smudging the shadow and liner along the lash line for a smoky finish. Essential Eye Set brushes are made from soft, cruelty-free bristles, recycled aluminum ferrules and sleek bamboo handles. Large Eye Brush Angled Crease Brush Petite Eye Shading Brush Highlighting Brush Smudge Brush On-The-Go Travel Bag So total make six. This is relatively a smaller brush set. The handles are shorter than the normal brushes, around 10cm. So it is the perfect size for traveling. I do have a lot of random brushes that are smaller, which is nice as they too will fit into the bag. For a set that cost...

Colorsensational Lipstick in Plaza Pink

If there is one lipstick that I can call my daily lipstick, this will be it. Plaza pink is more a light pinky brown with a mauve undertone. It is creamy and pigmented and the color doesn't wash you out. It is the perfect nude your lips but better shade. Not so nude, not so pink, not so brown and not so mauve. Just the perfect blend of all. From the tube, it looks really boring. Actually when applied in the lips it still looks boring. But it is just that when you look at your whole face, then you realize this lipstick is perfect. From the swatch here, it actually looks quite nice. I think in real life it is less pink. But yes, I love the texture, I love the feel and I think it is quite a good lipstick.

Mascara Combo

I've tried out using 2 mascaras. I mean I saw people using them but I always thought what's the point of getting 2 when you can just use one good mascara. So I tried it out. Just for fun. Plus this combo is ideal as when wearing a color mascara, you should always apply a black one as a base. Or maybe a white one. I am surprise, not really, but I do like using them both. Individually they are good but together they are better. One gives length. One gives volume. I guess with everything, it is subjective. You either think I can combine my favorite mascaras or you can be damn what a waste of money. Your choice.

Clean Face Blemish Zero Clinic Solution

A gel like moisturiser. I do like gel like product but for some reason this feels weird. It is more like a silicon primer than a moisturiser. Doesn't really help much with blemishes. I still got them. So it is quite bad. Not a big fan of it. Lucky is is just a sample.

I am not sure about pore tightening as I don't really see much a difference after using this. Oil control wise, I guess it is alright. My face doesn't look like it is oil free, but it is not oily also. It is just super moist. This takes forever for it to dry. Leaving on f...

Lip Switch in Coral Pink

On of my more recent buy from MUA. I really should stop, but I just can't help myself. The lipstick texture remind me of MUA lip boom, I mean the packaging is the same too. The only different is the gloss. This one is more pigmented. Plus it is more of a liquid lipstick, or just like those lip cream. The lipstick is good. It's a matte lipstick. It's a coral pink shade just as what the name states. The problem I have with this is that sometime it suit me, sometime it don't. You definitely need a smooth lip, but it's just, I don't know. It's really hard finding pink that suit me. The other side is a lip cream with a doe foot applicator. It's shiny. I like it on its own or with the lipstick. It's not sticky, so it's good. I like it. So the major different with this and Lip Boom is that the latter contains very chunky glitter. So it's uncomfortable on the lips. This one is better. Plus is more of a cream than lipgloss. But I do know that other sh...

L'egere CC Creams

I am a bit skeptical when the sample product came in packaging with Chinese words. Not to say I am bias. It's just usually these will be targeted to people with fair skin. It's like the market out there shows the Chinese prefer to have white glowy skin that looks almost close to being oily. Anyway, it's made in Korea and I have two here to try out. One is the Magic Skin Beautifier CC which is a white color cream. The other is Aqua Soothing Essence CC which is a skin tone cream. Surprisingly both creams are good for me. As in they suit me. Even though the Magic is kind of make my face fairer. But it's a good thing. I mean even the Aqua does make my face brighter too. So they really is a cream for a fairer skin. The formula is the same. Both are light and easily spread onto the skin. I find that they are best used with fingers. The best thing about this is that I do not have to use a powder to set. It just gave me beautiful matte looking skin. And they last. I don't ...

Vivo Blush & Highlight

Do I need another blush? No! But I'm just a shopaholic and I want to buy them all. The price is good and the colors good. There are just a time when you pink and you have to have pink everything, and there are times I have to have peach, and so I have this. It's a good handy blush palette with a cream, powder blush and one shimmery highlighter which is better a blush as it is super pigmented. I mostly use the centre powder blush, as that's the prettiest among the 3. Well it is just lighter as compare to the cream blush. All 3 are pigmented so a light hand is required. But really for the price which is less than $10, it is a really good trio. I don't really use the highlight but it looks nice as a blush. The instruction told you to use the cream blush, follow by the powder and dust the highlight, but it is already just on its on. Following the instruction just help to prolong the wear of it.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick

Nude Pink, very shiny shimmery shade. I have mix feeling about this lipstick. It looks too frosty. But somehow there are times when it looks so good on. Just a natural pinky shade, perfect to pair it out with a smokey eyes. It can makes your lips look pale but not dead. So it's really ideal. But most often than not, it just looks weird on the lips. Especially when the lips are chapped. So ya, I am conflicted.

VDL CC Cream

I have no suckered into BB or CC cream marketing. I mean all of them are just face product to me. Whatever works for me, I will love. This sounds promising as it said that it contains the technology to balance pale or dark skin tone for a flawless radiation and clear transparency. It fights off perspiration and oil for a lasting look. It also has a SPF of 25. First thing first, this is way too light for me. My face just looks so white using this. The coverage is alright, but it is not light. You have to really blend for it to look natural. Oil control wise is alright, and I did use this to go to gym, and it stays put. So really it is just the shade that doesn't match me. This is why samples are the best thing ever brought onto the table. I think everyone should be given samples before they commit to buying the full size product. If you go huh? Guess you are not from Asia. We envy you people who can return back product.

Fiole np 3.1 Neoprocess Treatment System

This is a leave in conditioner. I guess I mention a shampoo in my best of '14, I feel kind of bad there is no conditioner. Personally I feel all conditioner works the same. It either works or it doesn't. What makes a good conditioner in my book is that I can use a bit yet it smooths out my hair easily. It should not be overly greasy to the touch and doesn't take forever to rinse off. So with that, a leave in conditioner is really a better choice for me. I just don't like that my hand will get soapy after, but this one is not bad. Doesn't makes my hands sticky. Not sure about the price, but I got a feeling this is the kind of product you can only get a saloon, or maybe when you are in Singapore that is.

My Daily Home Makeup Bag

Happy new year! Since I started work, I found that I don't really have time to post as regularly. But I have lots of drafts that need to add in words to make it a proper post. So many of my post will be random and out of place, well worse than before, I can foresee that. So I apologize in advance that this blog is going to be more as what Singaporeans will call it "chapalang". So I wanted to share with you my makeup bag since forever. I love trying out new product, but there will some things that I just lazy to change out. In this case, it will be everything inside my makeup bag. This is not the pouch that I bring out with me, this is the one that I keep all my daily makeup in. I don't use it daily, but I consider it my everyday makeup. So let's take a look shall we? I put everything in one small bag cause that is easier to haul over to my bed. I always do my makeup on my bed. I don't have a proper dresser. Well, I used not to have, but now I do. (Just goes to...
