The Stuff I'd Used

I was so desperate in search for a lip color with SPF to bring to Bali. I don't want to use my S ugar lip treatment as it will melt, while Korres lip butter doesn't provide me with enough color. Luckily I found this in my collection. It is a lip tint with SPF 15. So I thought this will be perfect, as a tint, it will provide the color I need. Bloom is actually quite a light sheer pink shade. It was not enough to give me the perk me up look I so wanted. It also appears quite frosty. I guess it is the color. It has quite a light glitter in it, but it doesn't sparkle. From the swatch here, it looks quite nice. Usually on day days, it just looks quite bad on me. I guess you really need a smooth lip to use this.

This is in the shade nude. It is a bit light for me. So it is quite good for concealing under eye. To be honest I really do not like this at first try. It is just so oily on me. It just cake up and makes my pores really obvious. Plus it fades away so quickly. After like 2 hours I look like I no longer wear any. The only good thing is that it is creamy, so for some reason I kept using it. Since it is a small travel size I brought it along with me to Paris. And the weather there is cooling. It's suppose to be summer, but the temperature is barely 22 degrees on sunny days. And what I find out is that this is such a good concealer for Paris. It doesn't melt on you. It is really just about the only thing that makes my face look decent. Like OMG what a different the weather makes. I guess in colder weather, my skin is more normal. So this concealer just cling on better onto my skin. It is just overall a better experience. Quite sad that Singapore only have summer and hot weather. Oh ...

I have the brightening skin toner and brightening emulsion. The toner smells good, very florally. It is also very cooling on the skin. A bit sticky after, so I have to wait for about 3 minutes before I can put on the emulsion. The emulsion has the same pleasant scent as the toner. However Shen I put it on my face, it kind of turn sour. Not sure if it is a bad batch, or its chemical reaction to my skin ph value. Anyway, I do not like it. I still use it just to see how much it will brighten my face, and I can say that it has not. It doesn't really do anything for my skin really. So these are a no.

I just needed a pencil brow product, so here goes. After staring at the brow product at Daiso, I decided to get this one. I choose one that is made in Korea, cause I think it is better. It isn't that bad, but I think the Ellefar one I bought was so much better. In fact the eyeliner was better. The color is ok. I can press harder to make it darker. I like the brush, so I can always smooth out the sharp lines to make it more natural. But this doesn't last very well. So it is not something you can use for work. I guess you Cebu you will have to reply after lunch and before leaving the office. It is only $2, so I don't really regret as much. Even though I don't like it, I still use it daily. So yah.

I wanted an eyebrow pencil. Daiso has a lot. It really is overwhelming to buy just one. If I have an extra $50, I'll definitely be taking one of each. But since I will have buyer remorse if I do that, I picked just one. Little did I know it was an eyeliner. I just choose this one cause it said Ellefar and I remember I did like the Ellefar pencil I bought last time. The liner is in color brown. From the swatch, it is quite a light brown. If pressed, the color will be darker. However, the liner kind of just smudge off easily. I do not like it as an eyeliner. It just doesn't do its job for me. It transfers and doesn't last long. Since I bought this for my brows, I did use it for that. It did a decent job. The color is good for the brows. Only problem of it is not lasting. So this can be the brow for when you just want to go down buy food. So only around an hour or so, it will be great. Plus there is 2 extra refills which is nice.

Got this at Watsons for $2. It is alright. I like that it is big. But I don't like as it is not wet enough for me. It takes off makeup alright, including waterproof mascara. So that's something. It is just not gentle as I have to rub a bit to get of the mascara, but I mean it does works. So overall. I wouldn't repurchase this.

I really love this. The formula is so beautiful. It is smooth, pigmented and easy to apply. This is in the color R6, a rich deep raisin shade. The swatches, the right one is one coat, the left is more than one. It's surprising that one lipstick can gives a difference finish with the different amount you put on. If just going over once, it is more creamy, more solid. If more than 2 coats, it gives off a more glossy finish. It has slight glitters that help to reflect the light. So it is just pretty on the lips. Plus I think the color is perfect as it is quite a mauve finish. What I like the most is the fact that it covers dry chapped lips. The packaging is also nice as it closes securely. You have to have a but of force to open it. I don't know how much this cost as it is a gift, but it quite worth the price. I've tried the red one, while it is gorgeous on the lips, it does wear off pretty badly. It just becomes uneven. So you have to be careful, kept checking and reapply. So...

First impression, I do like the gold. It is like any other color tattoo, easy to use and really stay put on the lids. This is a bit shimmery so can be use for casual days or really fun nights. Sometimes I will use this by itself. But more often than not, this is used as a base. After awhile, even though I close the cap really tight, I feel that this dry up the fastest compare to the other colors. It just become dryer. Still can use, but it is quite flaky. So it doesn't gives off a nice application anymore. That's disappointing. The only way to save it is by scraping of the first layer. Then the next layer is much more smoother in consistency. I still can't find a good brush to use this with. The only it worked will be using my fingers. The only problem with that is the fact my lids too small, my fingers too fat. So it is always quite messy to use this. I will have to remove some of it that goes over the intended lid area. I still love the color tattoo, but I will be a bett...

It can be applied through the length and on the ends of wet or dry hair, so that's convenient. This cost like $45 for a pack of 16 I think, and each pack is 3ml which is a lot for a one time use. You are suppose to use it once, but I don't like wasting product so I've used it for 5 times, and even then there is some left. It probably is not good for my skin, but I've not have any bad reaction to it. So I really do like the packaging, but I really wish it was smaller. Like I feel even 1ml will be too much for my face. After hearing about how awesome this mascara is about 4/5 months ago. I really wanted to try one. So I got this kit from Sephora that contain 4 Too Faced mini item. I cant seem to find the picture of it. Anyway, I finally got it an the bristle is so huge. It covers my whole eye. This is not a waterproof mascara, and after applying it will be crisp, so it wont just disappear on you. But it is not smudge proof so I tend to always get black eye at the end of my day as I most often than not will rub my eye. The non-waterproof formula makes removing mascara so much easier. I like that about this. It is quite a dramatic finish. But I also find that my lashes look quite natural. I mean as natural as they can get with mascara on. So ya, I like it. A lot. But it is still not the best mascara for me. The applicator is an hourglass shape. The bristles are randomly placed. So it is not neat and it somehow works. It grabs on onto the lashes really nicely. My favorite foundation in the whole world (first impression) or at least at the moment. It really depend on my skin. If it is not that too oily, it is great. When my skin is super oily, this gives a matte finish for a while. Then it becomes oily. This is intensity 2.0 which is a bit light for me. I think the perfect shade will be a shade up. But it kind of blend quite alright. It is smooth, but I did learn, it's the moisturiser that makes your skin smooth, or the primer. Anyway, it is a medium coverage. I like it as it doesn't feel heavy on the skin but it is good enough without the need to use concealer. I have to really use a good setting powder to prolong the matteness. Even though this is a long lasting foundation, I find that it starts to wear off at the 5h mark. A primer will maybe help by another 2h? So it is not really that long wearing after all. Never heard of the brand. It feels more like a gloss than lipstick. I guess that's why it is call glossy lipstick. It looks more like an orange on tube. Well I guess Fatal kind of describe something more orangey red but ya, I swear on some lighting it looks more of a pink. I like the packaging. It is suede and sleek, so it is nice to bring around. The lipstick is soft, so just need to turn a bit and hope that it won't chip off. The texture is nice, not crazy pigmented, gives of the color, but I feel that my lip color still show through. Lasting power is at most 2 hours? It really is more like gloss in a lipstick form.

Firming, hydrating and brightening. $49.50 /5pcs a box Recommended for even the most sensitive skin type. Oh dear, I really do not like this mask. Firstly it is just too big for me. The fit is not right. Secondly, it says for sensitive skin but barely 30 seconds, my face hurts. It is like as if I have an open wound on my cheek. It just irritate my face. But since it says to put on for 10 minutes (the only mask that say below 15), so I 忍. I just hold on till times up. It doesn't fully dry out, so it is moisturizing, I give it that. Firming, I don't feel it. Brightening? Yes my face looks whiter. So it is actually not bad. But, yes I don't like it cause now my face itches. It is just so uncomfortable. I am going to wash my face now. Updated: oh no, I have pimples all around cheeks. I'm utterly depress right now.

I wanted a fan brush. For some reason it doesn't feel complete without one. Fan brush can be used for highlighting, a light contour or all over powder. I guess it can be used for blush too. This is made from soft, cruelty-free bamboo bristle, has a recycled aluminum ferrule and sleek bamboo handle. So I know that EcoTools has change their design which is nicer I feel. Quality is still the same. Price is still fair. There's no fall out during washing. Really recommended.

In a foreign country, when the weather is crazy cold, the first thing I do is search for moisturizer. The key word is rich, be it for my face or body. So this Mega-Rich lotion is just music in my ears, or eyes since I read it. Anyway, it is a really thick cream that gets a while to smooth over the skin. Doesn't have any specific scent. Surprisingly it absorbs into the skin quickly. So it's really nice. But that's because the weather is cold. So in hot weather like Singapore, it will be a no.

After a lot of raves from the internet, I had to grab MUR. I bought the Iconic 3 eyeshadow palette and some lipsticks. I just had a weakness of the moment, and I bought a whole lot of lipstick. However I only tried one. This is in the shade Dare, a suppose to be bright red. It is a matte shade, and surprisingly easy to use. I do not need to use lip liner at all. I guess that is why I love it so much. I really love it. It is just so pretty on the lips. I am a bit crazy for red at the moment, but it can be a hassle to apply. So this is one that I've been reaching for all the time, cause it is just so easy. From the picture it looks more of a pinkish red. And yes from some lighting it does appear that way. However most of the time, it looks red. It is not as pigmented as I thought it would be. But it can be layered, so it will be more pigmented. I really feel my photo don't do justice to this lipstick. I have here the Rejuvenating Hand Cream and the Extra Gentle Shower which is a soap. I like both as they remind me of milk. The shower cream is really moisturising, the consistency is more liquify. The scent is nice, however I feel that it doesn't transfer onto the body. It leaves you feeling clean, doesn't stink but doesn't have that extra scent. I feel that the scent of the hand cream is much stronger. The texture is smooth, albeit thick. A bit oily on the hand. So a little goes a long way. It doesn't soak into the skin straight away. So I don't really like this as a hand cream. What I like to do is apply it only on the back of my hands. It is great on the elbows and knees though. Those areas that are extra drying, this is good for that. The packaging is ok. It is not hard to open and close. Overall, it is alright but not something I will buy again.

Sometimes I can be quite gullible and fall through marketing traps such as cutesy products. This masks I bought just because I want Hello Kitty. There are a few Hello Kitty masks around, but I picked this cause it said strawberry on it. The mask is too big for my face. It is quite a thin mask, but wasn't as fragile. It is also very messy, lots of essence, which is good if you like more product, but I don't like it. I rather have a dryer mask. It just gets so messy having droplets falling of your mask. The scent is quite lovely, makes me think of strawberry even though it doesn't smell like one. It just mentally will gives you strawberry, I guess it's cause of the packaging. I don't think this mask really do anything. I don't see the glowing skin, even though I've used it quite religiously every other day. Plus I don't like the fact that it is sticky. Every time I remove the mask, my face will feel really sticky, and will remain that way for at least 10 m...

Lots of good review on this, just had to try it. It is alright. A bit thin for my liking. I also do not like the pot container. It's so messy. I guess cause its colored, so the lip balm kind of just dirtied your finger and nails. It will be better if it is just a no color one, but since I got one in pomegranate so that's a hint of red. The texture is a bit unique. It's like a jelly, a hard one. But usually those jelly kind of bounce back. This one feels like it does, but it actually pushes down. I need to dip my fingers into the pot a few times to really cover my lips. It feels nice on the lips once it covered enough, but it doesn't leave your lips moisturize in the long run. So it's quite disappointing and so many people actually rave about it. Hmph! The color also doesn't last very long on the lips and the color is only nice thing about this. The scent too, I guess.
