Clinique lash power lengthening mascara

The mascara is just a normal one. It does lengthen but not crazy long. It is good for daily. I guess you can layer it but I feel that it clump my lashes. I really kind of regret getting extension 3 years ago. I feel that my lashes doesn't fully recover and every mascara will easily gives me spidery lashes. It is bad. But if you ask if I will get extension again, I will say yes. The brush is a normal bristle with one side longer than the other. It is nice to get through your lashes. The shorter side will helps to give a little volume. Overall it's a good daily mascara for me. But I do prefer others.

Eyeshadow Trio in Pink Sorbet

It is so hard to capture the right shade for this trio. The colors are by right absolutely beautiful. A light pale pink that is more pale white, baby soft pink and a gorgeous pinky bronze. They shadows are shimmery and super pigmented. I really love the trios in the MUA range. I guess most baked shadows are pigmented. I only feel that the packaging is kind of bulky. They should come out with an all baked shadows palette.

Rose 4 Reine

A rose scented solid perfume. I like solid perfume. It's easy to apply in public. Anyway the scent is lovely too. Not full on rose but very clean and "sweet", girly sweet. One of the better rose scent in the market. It is not overpowering, just a hint. Plus as a solid perfume, it is quite subtle. Oh, it is also really good to take out of the bag when stuck in a smelly bus.

Origins UV face protector

It is so watery and easy to apply. It is dark and won't really suit anyone who is fair. I mean the color is blended when you put on, but somehow it just makes your face appear darker. I guess it is good if you want to look tan. Anyway, I find that it is oily, so I don't like it very much. But it has a SPF of 35, which is quite high. Oh it has a nice scent too. But that's pretty much it.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm

This is just the basic lip balm. At first I don't like it. I am used to vaseline type lip balm that this feels a little waxy. But it's minty which makes me keep reapplying it. So the more I use it the more it gets better. It's like it becomes less waxy too. It is just nice to use daily or under a lipstick. But I don't think it's the best lip balm out there. It is just less moisturizing comparing to others I tried. So if your lips are not as pampered as mine, I think this will great. It is a clear peppermint scented lip balm that is nice on the lips. The price is quite alright too especially if you got them from any Burt's Bees set.

Essential nuance airy

Smells good, but I prefer the Rich Premier better. The scent kind of smell good not directly from the packaging but after you use it. So from the container, it is just normal. The shampoo is just alright. Will leave me greasy at the end of the day, but most shampoo do. So nothing special.

The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash

This is quite cool. You really can't see the micro beads. It feels like a normal cleanser until it comes in contact with your face. It's a good daily gentle scrub. It don't really feel like a scrub. It is a good cleanser though. It is not drying. Doesn't have any specific scent. It is nice, but I wouldn't buy it.

Vivo - Sandstorm

Another matte shadow from Vivo. I realized I need an all over the lid shadow. So I guess this was perfect. But I totally forgot about all those palettes I have. I really don't need anymore shadow. Especially single shadows. I guess I need to buy a z palette or something. Anyway, from the swatch it really blends into my skin. So on the lid it really just the same color. The shadow is smooth but not super smooth. I mean for the price, you can't really complain. The packaging is quite cute too. Compact and a pretty square.

Sebamed Clear Face Deep Cleansing Facial Toner

This combats pimples, blackheads and skin impurities. I like that the bottle is small. The bad is that it just pour out so easily. So a lot of the toner is wasted. The toner itself is just a toner. I really don't see what it does to help my skin. The claims are there, but I still do get pimples. So it is quite disappointing.

Yes To Carrots C Me Blush Lip Tint

I like the size of this. It's thin, nice to put inside your jeans pocket. Smells kind of minty, well it is minty. That's the only thing I like about it. The color is just horrible on me. I can see the lines and my cracked lips. It gives color but is not pigmented at all. I guess it will work for people who has less pigmented lips. But for me, bleh. I don't know what color is this, but it says natural smile, which I doubt it is the name. But at least it is paraben free.

First Impression: Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector

This is not exactly a first impression as I did try the bb cream before. This time though it's the medium shade. Which turn out to be quite dark on the skin. From the picture it seems that it matches my skin really well. I guess it does. But looking at the mirror I just looks super tan. I still like this bb cream for it is easy to apply. Unlike the previous try, this actually gives me a dewy finish instead of a matte. The coverage is alright, as it is light, it is easy to apply. Overall, medium is not really my color.

Palmer's fade cream

So it smells good. I am suppose to this twice a day on affected area. I feel that it tighten but I know it's just psychology. Only managed to use this twice so obviously there is no difference. But at least it smells good. I don't know if I need this, but at moment I am kind of lazy about it.

In-Shower Skin Conditioner

The texture is exactly like conditioner. The smell is kind of like the shaving cream, the removal without blade that kind of cream. Smells like Veet. Anyway, it is moisturizing, but it just feels fake. Like I feel it just moisturize on the surface. I mean it is convenient cause then you don't have to wait for the lotion to dry, you just rinse it off. But ya, doesn't feel as good as normal body lotion.

Aloe Make-up Remover Tissue

This is not as wet. But it is a good remover sheet. This will remove waterproof mascara, but it is just not as gentle. So I wouldn't encourage anyone to remove their mascara with this. But I mean for $2, 30 sheets, it's not bad. This one also doesn't smell as bad as the other aloe sheet. Plus it is bigger. I wonder how many more cleansing wipes I've yet to try from Daiso.

Rachel K See The Difference Cleansing Gel

So this is with innovative Swiss apple stem cell phytocelltec technology that is purifying. Don't really know what that means. But I guess it's for self-renewal, the skin stem cells that is. Prevents loss of moisture and maintains skin balance without the use of chemical. Contains witch hazel and aloe vera. So I can say that this is good for sun burnt skin. It's a good cleanser, really gentle. Doesn't strip off moisture. But cleanse really well. Wouldn't really purchase it cause I don't quite the feel I have on skin once I dry my face. It's I don't know just a weir feeling.

Laneige Water Supreme Foundation

SPF 15 no. 21 natural beige With water as its name, this foundation is light and easy to apply. The coverage is also light and by the end of the day, I find that it is pretty much gone from my face. But at the start it's really good. A clean finish, doesn't leave me oily. The color is a tad too light, but it blends alright. Overall a food foundation, with a ease of application but one that doesn't last long.

Bi-White Med Deep Corrective Whitening Essence

So I tried this and it is light texture but it is not pleasant to apply. I find that I have to use a lot to really cover my whole face. Even though it's quite thick and watery, it just doesn't glide very well. It absorb very quickly I guess that is why. Anyway, it is moisturizing but leaves me feeling a little oily. Plus the thing I really can't stand is the smell. It has an underlying sour scent. Only when you really sniff it. It smells ok if it is far away, then when you really smell it, there is the unpleasant smell being tuck away by the fragrance and it really irritate my nose. When I put it on my face, it is not that noticeable until when it got closer to my nose. So ya no for me.

Purity made simple

This smells kind of like a day at the dermatologist. It just has that spa like scent, but not the clean refreshing kind, but the clean pure kind. It isn't as nice as spa, but it still feels fancy. The cleanser itself is good. Managed to remove my waterproof mascara. It is better as a cleanser when you have makeup on. If no makeup, I feel that it doesn't really clean the face as well. Wouldn't purchase this but I don't mind if get it for free.

Hope in a jar

This smells weird. It hurts when apply near the eyes. Texture is quite watery. Absorb rather quickly. Gives a smooth finish. Scent still lingers so I don't like that. At first it appears to be oily, but I woke up with a rather clear face. Moisturizing and non-oily. Not bad at all, but the scent, I don't like, so it is a no for me.

ColorStay Ultimate liquid lipstick

I don't know why I did not do research on this before I buy it. I guess I am just looking forward to the fact that's a liquid lipstick. It's just so horrible. The color's beautiful but it's so drying. And just like the normal colorstay lipsticks, it is smooth to apply on the lips. Like butter but it cracks afterward. Doesn't help using a balm too. Anyway the color I got is 005 Platinum Petal.

Show Me The Money

Another shadows from Vivo. I like the vibrant colors. It's something I do not have. I guess this is the same as MUA's Poptastic palette. The shadows are all shimmery, but it is wearable. The pigmentation are as with all Vivo and MUA shadows - good. The darker colors especially. I have a hard time using yellow and pinks on my lids, I always look like I have eye disease which is not pretty. But as a crease shadow, I find that it will be better. At least it's more subtle. I do tend to put a warm brown on top of it though. So just a little color will pop through. It has been fun using colors on the eyes even though I don't wear it out cause I'm just conscious that way. One day, I will, one day. But ya, it's a great fun palette to have around, especially for bright spring/summer seasons.

Essential rich premier

This smells good. The shampoo smells so much nicer than the conditioner. It is just a fruity floral fragrance. Since this is for smooth and manageable hair, it's just not the right kind for me. It just smells good and as always at first wash, it was alright. The second time using it, my hair is quite fast becomes greasy. Such a pity, cause I really loving the scent.

Travel set COC pink brushes

Pink brushes, really couldn't get any prettier than that. It was so nice online that I had to buy it. The brushes are alright. Doesn't shed. Soft enough. It comes in 5 brushes. A blush brush, concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, angle brush and a lip brush. I pretty much use the concealer brush for eyeshadow too. The lip brush comes with a cap that can be use to lengthen the brush. The blush brush is a bit thin and it fans out, so it picks up little product, good for super pigmented blush. But I find that I have to use it at an angle. So it may be a better powder brush. Overall a decent set of brushes. For the price, I couldn't complain, plus they are small so they're good for traveling and clean up is easy. But if you want good quality brushes, I suggest EcoTools.

Marine spa Algae Deep Moisturizing Cream

This smells good. I don't know of what I just can't put a finger on the scent. Anyway it's quite a thick moisturizer. It feels oily but it doesn't look oily. So it's just very weird. I guess that's the moisturizing property. It claims to revitalizes the lipo-structure of the epidermis and improves elasticity of the skin. Not sure about that as it always something you have to use for a long time to see the result. Cause of what it feels like on the skin, I am not a fan.

First Impression: Avon Ideal Flawless BB

It says skin loving beauty balm with SPF 15 in natural beige. It's easy to apply. Quite a light coverage. Gives a dewy finish. The color is alright. It's slightly glittery when swatch. It just gives that glow to your skin, so on the face you can't really see the glitter. But on hand, yes, which is weird. So it is alright, but not impressive enough for me.

Bebe lip gloss

Diamond Dust, a shimmery, clear lip gloss from Bebe. I kind of like the packaging. It has a metallic embellishment, quite cool looking. The lipgloss itself is alright. It's not that sticky. I used to love their lipgloss in the normal lipgloss container. It was like the best lipgloss ever. It was pigmented and just great. This is kind of the same but since the color I got is pretty much clear. I can only comment on its shine. Really like a diamond dust on your lips.

Vivo - Slate

A matte black eyeshadow. I don't know why I need this, but I just do. The color is black, pigmented yes but it's not the blackest black. It's good for smokey eyes or as a softer liner. Since I don't use eyeliner, or to be right is I don't know how to use liner, so it's better for me to trace the outline of my eyes with shadow. The price is good, £1, that's like buying eyeshadow at Daiso's pricing. No complain.

Clinique eye cream

I don't see any different when using this. But I do like that it has a rollerball and its metal, so it's cooling when put on the eyes.

Glittering Garnet

This is a really bad picture of glittering garnet. The color is suppose to be more fuschia. A dark pinky red/purple. It's more pink actually but it's not pink. Love the colorburst lipgloss. It's non sticky and really pigmented. It's just vibrant and can be worn on its on. Love the applicator too.

Cle de Peau Translucent Corrector for Pores

Even though this is a pore smoother, I use it as a primer. Super smooth to apply. Silky, love touching my face after. Not very good, leaves my skin oily. Not efficient, it's not obvious whether the foundation stay longer or not. But I decided after using a few times, it makes the foundation last longer. Makes skin very smooth, makes application of foundation easier. Makes pore more obvious, which is the only downside. But again if I use a better moisturizer it wasn't obvious.

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Timefighting Radiance Serum

I've been trying out samples of serum after serum and I still have a lot more to try out. For now, this is the Elizabeth Arden anti-aging one. It's a liquid consistency but it feels thick when apply on the face. Once it blended out, it kind if "sheer" out. It just feels thick when you smooth it over the face. It also takes sometime to dry, so it's not a good serum if you are in a hurry. This travel size is nice, not only its small, it has a pump, so that's really convenient.
