Revlon Colorburst in Strawberry Fraise

I like the brush tip as its like a paddle. It covers enough gloss for the whole lips, so there's no need to double dip. Application is very smooth. But can feel a bit gritty on the lips. Color is pigmented enough on its own. It can be build up to be more intense. A really pretty strawberry red with silver sparkles. Cant really see the silver, but it is just glittery. The gloss is not sticky. It doesn't have any specific scent. Yes I like it, but I like scented gloss better. Fun fact: if you wipe it with a tissue, you will be left with silver glitters on your lips, just like the diamonds in the sky.

T. LeClerc in Pinkedelic

I'd used up my Jordana sparkly pink stick shadow and I do love that color on my lids and on the face; face painting anyone? So I got another one but this kind of pricey. I also have the sharpener. No one really talk about sharpener, usually I just use the one for normal pencils. But getting a good sharpener is essential. This is the perfect size for any jumbo pencil. I wish it was two in one, but well, I do have a few sharpener. This is much more glittery than the Jordana. It's quite pretty to top up over shadows. Great for a party look. But to be honest, the way I use this is to draw or write on my body and smudge it off. The glitter will then be remain. It's an easy way to get glitter to stick on to the body.

MUFE Rouge Artist Intense Intense Color Lipstick

Isn't the tiny lipstick cute? Well you cant see how small it is, but it is just a sample size but it's big enough that for it to last forever. It is only 1.5g when the full size is 3.5g. So it really is not that bad. In face how I wish most lipsticks are this size, so I wont feel so bad for owning so much. This is no 42 which is the Satin Vermilion Red. According to some websites, this color is the cult color to have for Rouge Artist Intense. So lucky me. At first use, I find that is is quite drying. But eventually it is alright albeit a little, but I guess most log lasting lipsticks are. And I find that since my upper lip is much darker, the red appears more cool tone. For the bottom lip, it appears more warm tone. Those were my thoughts. But if you are not as obsess at staring at my lips as I am, I doubt you will notice. Oh this is one the red lipstick that is quite forgiving to wear. You don't need to use a lip liner. So that is another reason to try it. And I like the s...

GlamGlow Youthmud

I've been wanting this mask forever and I took the opportunity to buy it at 10% discount on beautyexpert.com. Now, they actually sell it at Sephora for $98 I think. I got the pink one which is the same as the black container but the pink one is for the breast cancer thingy. I really like the box, I mean it's pink what else do I need to say? Anyway there's a lot of review on the mask and I can tell you honestly that I don't think it's worth the $100. It's good but for $98 I just think it's a bit much. The first time I used it, it really gives me a glow. It was amazing. The tingle was not painful in fact I welcome it. It just feel so refreshing on the skin. It's pampering. I guess with the price tag you kind of want that, expected it too. So I tried them three ways. Put on quite thick, average and sparingly; I see no difference in all 3. So you really just need a little. Smooth over all your face and just wait for the mask to dry. Then instead of rinsing i...

Dr.Ci:Labo BB + Super Cleansing Ex

I can very much see why people love this bb cream, especially those with oily skin. For 3ml sample, I managed to use this for a week. Some times I used it sparingly, other the product chunked out a lot and I lathered it on. Whether a thin or thick layer I put on, it doesn't leave me oily. The only different is that a thin layer, after 4 hours, it will start to fade away. It isn't a good look when I'm walking around school with a red face. Then again I found that I can only put a thin layer on my nose, if not it will look grainy despite exfoliating. So it's kind of a love hate relationship. But the more I use the more I love. It's like Skin79 but it feels so much better on the skin. The color is a bit off for me, but it blends nicely overall. So it wasn't a big deal. I may get this if I don't have so many things to try on. I am not a fan of the cleanser. It's a tad too dry for me. It just doesn't lather up. So every time I use it, I will not know if m...

Another Daiso makeup remover wipes

Yay to $2 makeup wipes. This has 32 sheets so basically it's one for everyday. However, cause it's inexpensive, I find that I use more than one a day. I'm so generous with my wipes now. Last time, if my face still has traces of makeup, I'll just wash it out. Now I will make sure the makeup is gone before I wash my face. On to the wipes. This is not as wet as the first one I reviewed here . At first I don't really like it as I prefer the other one. But after awhile, I am used to it. It's nice for the face as it is not so wet so it's not sticky. But it's quite a pain to remove waterproof mascara. It can be done, but take some effort to.

The Rocket

I bought this in the UK as usually it takes forever for new product to get into Singapore market. This time it wasn't that long for the rocket to land in Singapore. But anyway, I've been saving this mascara and I bought one more at Luxola during one of their sales just for comparison. I wanted the waterproof one and I realized that's the light blue wordings and they don't have that in Singapore. So the difference: 9.6ml made in Italy and 10ml made in China. The latter is from Singapore. Other than that it's pretty much the same. I prefer this as compared to They're Real. It's much more dryer and separate the lashes better. I also feel that I do not have to curl my lashes. Somehow it will curl them up a little. It helps to volumise my lashes and makes them look longer. It basically just makes them look fuller. The wand is nice but sometimes I prefer the traditional wand. It is nice as it grabs onto the lashes, but if I kept coating them, it will clump. So I h...

First Impression: MAC lipsticks

I finally got the chance to try out MAC lipstick. I always like MAC counters cause they just have the most colorful lipsticks around. It's just that there are just way too many to choose from, and it's intimidating for me. Plus I love my cheap lippy that I don't see what's the big deal MAC is. I have this mindset that when people think makeup they think MAC. So I'm actually quite bias against them. So when my cousins bought MAC lipstick, i took the opportunity to try them. I tried Angel which is a frost. I like the color, it's a nude with the smallest hint of pink in it. When I tried it on, it's just doesn't really cover the whole lips. I have to go through it a couple times. Which makes me think that it's probably the same as any lipstick I already have. It takes a few swipe to get it to be really opaque. I also find that it's quite drying and I can't rub my lips together if not the color will transfer off. It doesn't justify for the hea...

Dior eyeshadow

I am happy to announce that I found some Dior product that work for me. Introducing all-in-one artistry palette in Amber Design. I can't really capture the true colors from the palette do I screenshot it. Anyway, the colors are neutral with 4 powder and 1 cream shadows. The top right is sheer, very glittery. It's more of a topper to make any shadow sparkly. Below that is the cream shadow, a matte dark brown which has a powder finish I feel. It's great as an eyeliner. Also can be use as an eyebrow color, but I don't like my brows to be so dark looking. Next to it is a really beautiful golden beige shadow. Golden cause it has gold specks in it. It's good as a base color or on its own. The left top is just a normal pearl dark brown. Its pigmented and easily bendable to give a fading color. A good crease shadow as it just easy to camouflage onto the others. Lastly, the centre one is a rusty gold color. I usually just use this all over the lid. It kinds of blend with my ...

Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance Optimale

Light hydrating cream with SPF20 for normal to combination sensitive skin. This moisturizer absorbed into the akin really fast. Therefore I feel that I need to put on a lot of it. A pea size will only cover so much before it sinks in and you left with nothing. So you need to put on more. It's nice that it absorbed fast and all, but having to add on can be troublesome. Plus after an hour or so, my skin becomes really oily.

Mini shower gels review

Lemongrass Royal Lotus and Mandarin shower gel. This smells so good. I like the texture of it. The gel itself is just alright. Drying after the rinse. So it's not a favorite shower gel. Bioderma Atoderm gentle shower gel. It's just a normal shower gel to me. Smells alright, smells clean. I like it enough. Shea bombshell has the worse mini packaging ever. It's so ever hard to use. The soap just won't come out despite my tap tap actions. It's a hard bottle that means I can't squeeze it out. I have to stick my finger in and pull out hoping enough gel will come out. The product itself has a really strong scent which is nice. But it can be quite drying after rinsing off. So I don't like that. The best way to use this is with a loofa, only then it will lather up really nicely.

Light Pink lipsticks

Fr some reason I kept picking up pink lipstick. So far I haven't found the one that is really perfect for me. You can say I haven't find the one. So I kept picking different shades of pinks. And I have 3 lipsticks that are pretty much similar. The colors can be hard to show on the lips, especially on my pigmented lips. This is Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Wink for Pink . It's a really light pink color on the lips. In the tube, it's like a neutral pink. It has shimmer too which will transfer and stay on the lips. Pretty color but it highlight dryness. It is also a Creme finish, but it's more shimmery for me. This is 17 Mirror Shine in Pinked . The color is like a light neon pink. Really gorgeous. Takes a while for it to show on the lips. Have to swipe it across a few times. It has a glossy finish, and the texture when swatch kind of has the gloss feel. It has a rather faint scent of the Apocalips that scent. I like the packaging though, it has a mirror which is...

Instant visible smoothing effect Fine lines and wrinkles are reduced and lips are plumped up from the inside Lip contour is redefined and the lips are left feeling soft and supple This innovative lip treatment with hyaluronic acid creates a unique and instantly visible smoothing effect. Application: After cleansing, apply mornings and/or evenings to the lip and mouth area using the special roller applicator. Leave on briefly to take effect. I do like the concept...

Obagi Professional-C Serum

I'm liking serum with dropper lately. I think it's really fun to play with. I know that's not the purpose, but what can I say. Obagi is used to be well known for its strong product. I don't know if they still is, but their products are still rather pricey in my book. I borrowed this vitamin C from my mom. Cause they say vitC is good for mature skin. Mature skin meaning wrinkly skin? At least that's what I associate it with. When I look at myself, I notice all my wrinkles and I can't stand it. Sometimes it's easier to just not look at mirrors at all. Anyway, I use this and it's way too oily for me. It's watery and blends in easily, absorb into the skin quite fast too. But it just gives off this slick look. It feels like putting oil onto my face. At least it feels that way. This is the 20% and there are 4 version which cater to different need. 20% has the highest concentration of L-ascorbic acid. Not sure what that is, but ya. I am still stubborn to ac...

Cargo HydraBronze

Cargo has such cute containers even thought can be a pain to twist them open. So I have the HydraBronze, which is It says to hydrate the skin, improve the skin's moisture level giving your complexion an illuminated look. I don't know all that when I purchase this. But it has an above average review and I really want another bronzer and to try Cargo. It bronzer is pretty with the details. But I rather like the plain surface as it's the smoothest thing I've ever touch. The bronzer is quite light, rather shimmery. It has super micro flecks of gold. If you use it lightly and sparingly, I guess it can be a bronze color highlighter. This is not for contouring, but I can get away with it as I will just dust it lightly. It just complete the whole face. Plus using a brush, the gold specks are not that obvious. Compare to my HG YSL Sunpowder , this is lighter. It is also not so orange. It will give a more define contour look as it is more "brown". It is also gives you a...

Crayon Lip Stain

I really like these lip crayons. They are easy to use and you don't have to sharpen them. Most of these crayons promise either a balm, a stain or both. So I like that and I really want to try them all. All the colors, all the brand. I'm slow in getting into them, but now that I've tried, they are just my absolute favorite. Well one of the the favorite anyway. So I have 3 of these. 2 MUA and a Vivo one which is a Colour Stain in Wide Awake . It is a pink tone mauve. as its pink, but also more on the magenta tone. Vivo only promise to be a stain, but I find that it has a balm feel to it too. While the MUA one is call Power Pout . I got one in Broken Hearted which is a pretty raspberry pink. The other one is Rendezvous which I thought will be a neutral nude. End up its more pink, but it's really natural on the lips. It just give the lips the right amount of color without looking over the top. It is a my lip but better color and it suits practically anyone. My cousins was c...
