Mane 'n Tail Shampoo & Conditioner

Never heard of this brand before and these are the original. The shampoo is for shiny manageable hair and the conditioner is for thicker healthier looking hair. It kind of remind me of Pantene shampoo. It's like the same consistency. The shampoo is kind of drying. Like it just strip off moisture and made your hair limp. Applying the conditioner doesn't help. Then the container said that you have to apply the conditioner on the scalp too. I tried that, it helps. But still it is weird, I never use conditioner on the scalp. Anyway the first day was alright. Just like most shampoo, it did ok for my hair. It got oily the next day. The second time I used it, my head got itchy. Dandruff appeared and my hair was oily. It was just a no no. The conditioner was ok. Even if the shampoo doesn't give me dandruff, I didn't like the feeling it gave me. So I doubt I will try the brand again.

Eye Puffiness Minimizing Patches

Eye bags be gone. It doesn't but it helps to reduce them. The patch is really huge. So it will accommodate anyone. It is cooling and helps to reduce puffiness. I feel the same could be done using cold spoons or tea bags. But with this it is just so much more easier. Just open, peel and apply. I think that's the only advantage in using store bought products. The lesser mess is convenient. I wouldn't repurchase this as puffiness not as a big problem for me anymore. Just use ice cubes and you're done, save your money.

Mint Julep Scrub

I heard so much about Mint Julep and I really wanted to get the mask but it was sold out. I decided to get the scrub instead. It kind of remind me of clay. The color is grey with micro beads. For a scrub, it wasn't harsh at all. In fact it was very gentle. I don't like the packaging as its troublesome and gets dirty easily. Doesn't break me out or anything, but it is not a good scrub. It is a better cleanser as it's just so gentle. I am sure some people will like it, but I really want a scrub to replace my Beautain. This doesn't cut it. I wonder if the mask is any good. Since the mask is the one that is being rave in the first place.

Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss

People were talking about Essence lipgloss being good and cheap. Now, cheap and good in the same sentence? Yes please. This is nude pink, which is just a nude that is more on the pink side and it has glitter. It's pretty sheer actually. I like the wand. It's like a long paddle, not the normal doe foot, which surprisingly is nice to use. The gloss itself is quite alright. Not sticky. It's quite thick but can be use as a topper. This color, even though it's quite sheer, I prefer to use it on its on. Plus the sweet scent is quite nice on the lips. It's like putting on candy, sparkly gloss.

Bio Spring Water

I just had to try facial mist, makeup setting spray or whatever you called it. So I picked this up from the samplestore.com for shipping of $5.99. In order to get sample, you need points and you get them by reviewing stuff. Anyway, I did picked up samples from them ages ago and I got the free shipping one. This time, when I logged in and update my particulars, I managed to end up with 8 points, which means 4 samples. You are only allowed to have four samples per shipping cost of $5.99 anyway, so it's perfect. This sample bio-mist was said to retail for $5.90. I just had to pick this up, as the full size (300ml) is too big for the purse and rather pricey for technically tiny water particles. When I first saw the bottle, I was kind of disappointed at the plastic feel. The full size I believe is aluminum or whatever spray bottles came in. Then the mist that come out from the bottle is kind of hard and it hurts spraying onto my face. The third time I tried it, I finally managed to get...

Estée Lauder whitening essence

This is thick. I find that I need quite a lot to cover my whole face. Then it takes me about 30 seconds for the product to sink in completely. It doesn't leave me oily which is nice. Then it just feels like you had nothing on. It's like the product totally absorb into your skin. Even the next morning, there's no trace of the serum. I don't know if that's good or not. It feels nice though. Like nothing on your face. I will consider getting the full size, but there's just too many serum I want to try. So when the time comes, this will be one of my choice.

TBS Strawberry

My favorite scent from The Body Shop is strawberry. I have purchase them countless time and I love everything from it. But if I were to choose, these 3 will be my absolute top 3. Strawberry body polish is a daily scrub. At least that's what they told me. They say its more gentle than the scrub which you use once a week or fortnightly. So the polish can be use daily which is nice. It isn't harsh at all. But I like that there are tiny seeds and granules that helps to polish off the dead skin. Strawberry purée body lotion smells so heavenly. I love to use it in the morning and I will smell of strawberries for the rest of my journey to school. It absorbs into the skin pretty fast, not sticky and just lather on easily. The strawberry shower gel smells lovely. I mean of course all smell so good, but it makes the bathroom filled with the scent of strawberries. It's just so yummy and makes you want to stay in the shower forever. The gel itself lather on pretty well, but it doesn...

Stop Cracking Up

I bought this cause it sounds promising and the packaging is cute. There was the green one which is minty but I decided to get this as its the original. It is the most puzzling lip balm I've ever tried. The texture is exactly like a gloss! It feels like a gloss, but it said that it's a lip balm. And it is cause it is moisturizing. But it is just a clear glossy product that I am like how ? It's just so weird. The weirdest part is that it actually helps with chapped lips. I always use this at night before I go to bed. It's kind of sticky at first then you get used to it. It became not sticky then you wake up with flaky dried chapped dead skin that can be remove easily with a rub of your finger. It's like a lip scrub you leave on for the night. At least that's when your lips are chapped. When it wasn't chapped, it just helps to moisturize it. It really is a good lip balm even though it feels more like a gloss. I apply this with my finger then I always be left w...

Soap & Glory Hand Food

I love me some hand lotion as it is the easiest way to pamper myself. This smells so lovely. It's worth it to get this alone for the scent. S&G products smells pretty good and I always associate them with this scent. Even though different products have different scents. And I really don't know what this smell like. It's just florally. It claimed to be a non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. However I do find it greasy, at least afterwards. I have to wait about 5 minutes for my hand to feel like there is no residue left. Even though there is none, but it just feels that way. It instantly makes my hand super smooth, I like that. It's not sticky, so it's nice. But ya, I will wait 5 minutes before I touch my phone or do something with my hands. I just wish it comes it smaller packaging as I prefer smaller tube to throw into my handbag. The packaging is easy to open and close. So that is nice. I think this will make the perfect hand c...

First Impression: Ginvera nutri white marvel gel

You have to apply this dry. So it is more of a peeling gel. As far as a peeling gel goes, it's alright. I don't see much a different than the others I tried. It doesn't exactly renew my skin, but it just feels like it does cause at that point you kind of see residue, so it feels satisfying. But you still have to wash your face with a cleanser as the direction stated. I don't like that extra step taken to clean my face. And you really have to use it daily to see the result. Not my kind of product.

CDP Brilliant Enhancer

Another thing being into makeup will teach you the power of highlighting. As my skin is oily, I don't really like to highlight. However sometimes it is just needed. I have here is the Cle de Peau brilliant enhancer which is in a clicky pen form. The product will come out from the brush much like those Stila Glazes. The highlighter is gorgeous. So sparkly, so shiny. A little goes a long way and as it's in a pen form, it's easy to apply. I don't highlight the bridge of my nose, just the cheekbone. And it gives the most beautiful sparkle when it catches the light. It can be quite an obvious highlighter but you can sheer it out and it becomes very subtle. it isn't cheap just like every Cle de Peau product, but it's justifiable.

Revlon colorstay soft & smooth

Bought this at the airport. I wanted the suede one, but for some reason the colors here is much more appealing. Anyway, this is what it looks like. The colors I got are: 350 Smooth Nude - a neutral with a hint of peach 360 Pink Indulgence - light Barbie pink with undetectable gold shimmer 295 Satin Rosewood - rusty maroon with a hint of magenta (more mauve on the lips) 230 Rich Raisin - a deep maroon The colors are really pretty. Even though the Smooth Nude and Pink Indulgence can look more frosty, it's still wearable. I love it with a tan. It just complement each other. I like how it is so smooth upon application. It just glide on like butter. However, it will get dry and looks ugh. You really have to have the smoothest lips to pull off this lipstick. But once it's set, it's pretty much will not budge from your lips. I like it cause of that, but I really don't like cause of the dryness. So these can only be apply on really smooth lips, a little of dryness will be these...

Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base

Getting into makeup kind of drive you towards the ideal steps of makeup application. It also teaches you that you want your makeup to last longer your face. So a base is very important. You need to prime the face for the foundation to last longer. Of course there's primer for different kind of needs. This Chanel sheer illuminating base is as what it said an illuminating primer. It has so much rave I had to try it. I still think I fail at applying primer as I don't like the effect they give. I find that primer makes my foundation super flaky and streaky. So whenever I use primer I will use the tiniest amount of foundation. A sheer white base that is quite thick at first. It's watery but thick if you know what I mean. The bottle has no pump so a lot can come out despite it being slowly pour out. It smooth out my skin so foundation apply easier but still streaky. And I will have to avoid my nose area. Once I blend out everything perfectly and done with the rest of bits and pie...

Cle de peau anti-age spot serum

This is the Cle De Peau anti-age spot serum. Just another one in their fancy sample packaging which I love. This is quite nice. It sinks in rather fast and it's not thick. Doesn't leave my face oily and when I wake up all traces of product have disappear from my skin. So it really get absorbed by skin, which is nice. It is in liquid form and has the Cle De Peau scent. It leaves my skin smooth until the next day when it is already absorbed then my skin ain't smooth no more. So that's the only downside I feel. I really want my skin to be smooth until I wash my face. So if I ever do run out of serum, I will probably consider this.

Vivo Colour Block in Dreamy

The thing about eyeshadow palette is that I love seeing them, I love owning them, but to be honest I don't use them as often. I used to use eyeshadows but that cause I don't use any foundation. Now I pretty much wear foundation, so I hardly use eyeshadow. This past week however, I told myself that I have to use them. Particularly this palette. I think this Vivo palette is pretty much the same as MUA Undressed Too palette. Which is considered the dupe for the Naked 2. I don't know about that as I don't own any of the Naked palette. I don't know why I have not, but I just want one Naked palette and I don't know which one to get. So I pretty much stick with the cheaper alternative. As I have hooded eyelid, my eyeshadows are hardly the focus of my face. Most of the time you can't see them. So as long the color is able to show on my lid and it doesn't fade away as fast, I am happy. This do just that. It doesn't last forever, but with a primer, it last for...

Products I Regret Buying

Canmake Nudy Glow I don't like this. The packaging is just horrible. As in when you remove the brush, there's isn't a stopper to get rid most of the product. So there will be just too much gloss on the brush which is really bad and messy and sticky. This is no6, just the worse color possible on me. The color looks so pretty when swatch though. The formula is sticky at first, then when it sit, it just becomes thick and quite uncomfortable on the lips. Not as sticky anymore, but you can feel that you are wearing gloss. This looks ok, but this takes me 5 minutes to fix. And even so, the lines of my lips are so obvious. Usually it will be just gooey, that probably isn't the right word, but it's just that. Too much products on the lips and colors just can't work for me. Nip+Fab Pistachio Sundae Body Butter I love Nip+Fab, I love pistachio. But this smells exactly like pandan. Now I get why people use pandan for cooking. It really is that strong and it throw off any s...
