Acnemise Acne Concealer

Bought this in BKK to replace my Eucerin. It's like a pencil liner so it's really precise. Most of the times though spots are not that tiny. So I have to go over it and color thru the area. It doesn't cover very well but it does a good job at concealing redness. I forgot how much this cost, but it's made in Germany. The product is only 0.28g so it's actually very little. The direction said to apply directly onto pimples as needed, twice a day. So it already implied that it is not long lasting. It also kind if implied that it's more of a treatment in skin tone color. I don't see how affective it is as a blemish care. Anyway, reading the description it kind of tell you that it is to conceal and at the same time alleviates acne. So ya, it's nice to have an easy to use concealer but I don't think its quite useful in term of removing blemishes.

Pure beauty youth restore essence

I rather like this serum. Managed to use this for 3 days morning and night. It's soft, smooth and blend into skin quickly. It leaves skin feeling nice and smooth. It is also hydrating that I feel I do not need to use moisturizer. I don't know what is black pearl, but it sounds like some fancy marketing gimmick. I wouldn't say no this serum, but I don't see any wowness to my skin except to hydrate it. So maybe that's it.

First Impression: My Beauty Diary Masks

I'm an alcoholic. Ok I'm not, but I'm interested in anything that has the word liqueur in it. Especially if those words are Bailey and Champagne. Anyway, I got this from Facebook when My Beauty Diary started setting up their Facebook page I believe. You can choose one mask to try per name and address. And so I got two. This is Red Wine Mask for nourishing and revitalizing. The spelling say vine, I guess that's why they were giving this out for sample. When I first open this, I see the extra plastic sheet which I don't like. But I guess it's there to protect the shape of the mask. I love love love the smell of this mask. The scent of wine flood my nose, love it! Once it's on your face, the scent disappear though. They say to use 2-3 times per week for best result. Hmm, I'm just not that diligent. But overall I like it, even if its purely cause of the scent. It's cooling, but I don't see a difference after using this. Arbutin Whitening Mask This i...

Revlon CustomEyes Mascara

I like mascara and I'm always curious bout those 2 in 1 mascara where you can twist the cap. So I got this Revlon Customeyes just to play with it. It's just nice that the brush is separated from the tube. And I played with it. Twisting from 1 to 2. And honestly I don't see any different. Or the mechanism is spoil cause it's not meant to be twist when it's not outside the tube. Anyway no difference. Ops. Using this in 1 for length and drama or 2 for length and definition. I think it's suppose to be thicker(fatter) and thinner bristle when you change between 1 and 2. I really like the brush though. It's plastic and has many concentrated spikes, long and short. It's evenly space out, and I find that it grip through my lashes really well. Great for separating. But I don't like the formula of the mascara. First impression is great. Second time using, not so much. It kind of clump and smudge on me. It is still the same after a couple of weeks. So this is n...

Maybelline Color Sensational in Peachy Scene

Moisturizing, non sticky, has a scent to it which I can't a put a finger on what. The swatch on the hand is really pretty. Under the light or in natural light, the color is so much bolder. I actually prefer it to be more peachy which will be in darker settings. However the picture is the true color on my lips. It just has a sheer metallic finish to it? Like a pinkish metal sheen to it. It's easy to put on, glide on nicely, feels nice on the lips but I'm not crazy about it. This last for roughly 3 hours plus and even so, it doesn't fade out. The colors still sort of linger around the borders of the lips. Plus I drink hot tea while wearing this, and it doesn't disappear. So really impress with that. However, I don't reach out often to use this lipstick. Only when I'm playing around then I remember I have this and feel bad I never touch it. I will use it just for a while and try on other colors. So I don't regret getting this, but I feel I knew I wouldn...

Hand sanitizers

Hand sanitizer has become a staple in my life. I don't know if they actually kill germs and bacteria, but it definitely makes me feel better. Carex hand gel aloe vera doesn't has a very strong alcohol scent. The aloe vera helps I guess. Cause the original is pretty strong. I like that it has a pump, so it's easy to use. It stated 100 applications per bottle, but I never did count. I always use a minimum 3 pumps cause of habit. It dries instantly just as it claimed. I bought it when I was at Batam, so it wasn't expensive. I like it. EO hand sanitizer in peppermint. This is the 10ml one and it is in liquid form. It's small, so it's great for the handbag. Plus the scent of peppermint is just so wonderful. It doesn't have any alcohol scent. Love it, but it's on the pricier side, especially since this is the smaller version. What I like the most is that its moisturizes + sanitizes + organic. So it's really a win combination.

Ultra Mattes v2 Darks i-Divine Palette

I did mentioned that I wanted a matte palette here . I know MUA came out with one, but when I was purchasing this, it has not come out. Besides I wanted to try Sleek. There were so many choices to choose from, but I end up deciding on the matte v2. I find that the color is much more wearable than v1. But it still is extremely colorful for my standard. The packaging is really sleek. Quite thin and sturdy. I have a hard time opening it cause it's just tight? Will be good for traveling as it's very secure. I also like that it has a big mirror. It comes with dual ended sponge tip brush, which can be useful if you need to use it straight away. There's also a clear plastic sheet that separate the shadows from the mirror. It has all the name of the shadows which is nice, but it can be a pain to keep it in the palette. So these are the colors. It's pretty. I don't know if you can see from the swatch that its not consistent. Some are more powdery than others, some are really...

Cle de Peau emulsion

There is two emulsion. The smaller one is a gentle protective emulsion (tendre) , the bigger one is refreshing protective emulsion (fraîche) . I used them both at different time. The gentle one is watery, kind of the same consistency as the Lancôme blanc expert . But I find that I need more to apply to the whole face. And it's rather sticky on the face. It takes awhile to dry, which is forever on my time. I don't like it at all. The refreshing one has the same consistency as my Clarins UV plus . I like this better than the gentle one as it is more watery and blend easier. It makes my face looks whiter too. It wasn't as sticky so it's good. Then I did some research, and apparently the refreshing one has SPF. Well I mean its obvious isn't it? The word protective should have told me that it has SPF. It just wasn't stated on this sample bottle. The mini containers are made of those thick glass that doesn't break that easily. I really like Cle de Peau samples as ...

Cherry Blossom

I've gone through phases aplenty. I mean who doesn't. But I went crazy, really crazy, over cherry blossom, a few years ago. I fell in love with the scent of the L'Occitane cherry blossom eau de toilette . And I've been wanting to get it ever since. My cousins bought it for me when they went to Paris. I wanted the solid form actually, but they got me the 100mL one instead. Along the way, I bought the solid perfume, and some TBS cherry blossom. They don't smell the same, but it's still lovely. So lets talk about the perfume. Both level of scent are the same, even though one is spray on EDT and one is a perfume in solid form. I like the solid one cause I can bring it everywhere. As long as I hide it in my purse, it doesn't melt. Do they melt easily? Anyway, for daily I just spray on EDT. I like that its not a perfume, so it is not that strong. Since most of my perfume are perfume, it's nice to have something less powering. TBS shower gel is a disappoin...

ModelCo Cheek + Lips

Now that it's autumn, it's suppose to give you the warm and cozy feeling. You are suppose to think of hot chocolate, falling leaves, scarfs and deep colored lips. But this is sunny Singapore, even though its been raining daily, it's just not cold enough. Maybe you will only feel the Christmas spirit since most malls will be up with Christmas deco by now. I've been home though, watching YouTube mostly, and cause of that I really want a berry blush. I don't have one, until I remember this cheek and lip tint in Rosy Red. This is from one of the Bellabox. I do not like it as a lip tint. My lips are too pigmented (check out Von , she managed to pull it off beautifully). And my lips are not equally pigmented all over. The top lip is actually darker. Anyway, for some reason, my tint is very clumpy. I don't think its suppose to be like that. So no matter how much I try, it just doesn't work. From the tube it can be seen as dark, but in fact, its quite sheer for me. ...

October Black Box

I heard of Black Box a long time ago, and I signed up for it. But I don't really know how it worked. Cause some people actually managed to get this free box, and I wanted one too. Last month they emailed us saying how their website has change and you can ballot for a free box. You can secure a free box just by paying for $6 shipping. They only had 500 boxes for that. I wasn't very interested in the October box when I saw the participating brands. So I wouldn't pay $6 for it. But I did try to ballot for it. I did not know I was successful as all I did was click the link and put my email address and they told me I am eligible for balloting. Then I had to log in but I did not know my password and I'm just lazy to check my email. Anyway there was another email saying everything was sold out and 1500 boxes were successfully given out to the winners. A few days later I got an email saying my box will be sent to me between a certain time. It was like winning a lottery. How awe...

Estée Lauder Day Wear BB

A thick bb cream that is more suited to people with drier skin. That's what I feel. It is too moist for me. It's perfect for my mom. It covers well, goes on smoothly. It's a medium to full coverage overall. But you can apply a little and sheer it out. Or it just mean some part of your face wont be covered. There was a rule that say don't cover your face with foundation if you don't need it, or something like apply foundation only to area that needed. Yah, people always say that. Anyway, it last for a good long time, but it is not for oily skin as I just get shiny like that after an hour or less or so. It has SPF, well it goes without saying. What else? That's pretty much it, as I used it thrice and I don't like it.

Foot Peeling Mask

Foot peeling mask was all the hype many many months ago in Singapore. I tried it out cause I have the worse looking feet ever. This review has been sitting on draft for too long, so I figured I should release it into the world wide web . This is what the packaging look like. It just seems so promising. There were many brands to choose around, but this has a pretty good review. I like that it has both Korean and English text for easy understanding. Before you read any further, be warn that the rest of the post has really gross pictures of my feet.

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Stress Recovery Night Cream

My first thought was ugh! I do not like the scent. It's a bit better than Indio night cream , but still just make me want to gag. At least after putting this on, I can use a hand cream to counter the smell. For Indio, it doesn't help. This is light, watery but when you blend it gets thicker. Moisturizing but makes my face looks oily. When I wake up, it seems to have absorb into the skin. Only my nose area felt oily. Unfortunately this break me out, around the forehead, so that's two strikes. Nevertheless it's still out.

ZA True White Day Protector

This is what I use on a lazy sunny day. It acts as a sunscreen and a base. Usually I am too lazy to use a foundation, so I find that this works really well at making my face smooth and even. After applying this, I set it with my Glo Minerals powder , and I'm done. It's just that simple. It has a SPF 26, so it's good. But it doesn't have the sunscreen smell. It has a nice flowery true white series scent. As with all the true white range, this makes my face a bit whiter, so it's also good with darker foundations. Unfortunately my foundations are all lighter than my face. But ya, overall it's a good product for extra SPF, a great primer for smoothing out the skin, but not for oil control.

Feather natural plus

We were in BKK on a budget holiday. Anyway the hotel we stayed did not provide us with any soap and shampoo. So we went to the supermarket and pick this up. I used this as a soap and wonder why the water doesn't cleanse properly. (I brought a mini shower gel by the way) It's like I have to rinse myself forever to get rid of the soapy feel. My sister use this a shampoo, she had the same problem but with her hair. It lathered up really well as a shampoo and shower gel. Even though there wasn't any "bubbles". The mistake was made as we were trying to figure out what this product is. All the words are in Thai. I'd searched the whole bottle for any indication as to what it was to no avail. Therefore, our understanding of the picture of lime automatically link us to a product, in my case soap. Refreshing, light, scented. And the product is rather milky and satin feel. For my sister shampoo as lime is associated with freshness and cleanliness and getting rid of oilin...
