Rimmel Kate Moss 16

If you see the picture below, you will see my very bad editing of photos. Sorry about that. The color of the lipstick is lovely. It's sort of a cool tone Barbie pink. It's pigmented, but I like to press and rub my lips together. There will be a line across my top lip that will sheer out. Then my lip will show thru. So I kind of have to apply more layers or I should not have rub my lips in the first place. Hmmm, but part of having nice moisturized lips is to rub them together. So that's the only drawback. Then again, most lipstick will be the same. Other than that, it's nice. Love the color, love the tube. And I think the price is just right. Slightly below $10 I think. Lasting power, I don't really keep track how long it will last, but it doesn't fade after 3h. It applies beautifully as long as I don't destroy it by rubbing my lips too hard and it goes on smoothly too. So yay to Kate Moss.

Essence Lipliner - 10 Femme Fatale

I thought MUA lip liners were great. Well, they are but the Essence ones are just wow. It's creamy, super easy to glide on. Comes in a range of shades, but I choose 10 Femme Fatale, which is a bright red with a hint of orange tone. The color is super pretty, I wish they still have the lipstick, but I can never find it. I am suddenly in love with red, so I started with lip liner. I figure if you use red lipstick, you will need a red liner anyway. So I just use it all over my lips. It looks quite drying. It is a tad. I should have use a balm before hand. Anyway when I put a clear gloss over it, it just become a glossy red lip gloss. It's super pretty and pigmented. Like obviously cause I cover my whole lips with the liner. But ya, it's just so lovely. I am afraid to move my lips as I don't want the color to disappear. I highly recommend Essence lip liners. It's just so good and really inexpensive. That is the best part, as it's only $2.50. I have a high end lip li...

Hyper Curl volum' express

I got this as it was cheaper than the Magnum . The wand is curve and the application is the same as the Magnum. I don't know about you, but Volum' Express series are pretty much the same for me. If I were to choose one, I'll pick the yellow tube. Cause it has sentimental value. But I do not see much of a difference between them all. To me, this is just as good and the price is way cheaper.

Volum' express turbo boost

I wanted a brown mascara, so I got this. The color is really brown, but when applied, it hardly can be seen. It just look black to me. The wand is curve just like the other volum' express sisters. It's a good mascara, but not for colored.

MUA 3in1 contour pen

A plastic pen type that looks like a liquid eyeliner without having any mention of the possible color on the packaging. That's what I think every time I see this. I have two of these, and it's hard finding out which is which. I have to open it first. Auburn is a pretty brown with specks of glitter. Which hardly show once it's on the eyes. This is not really pigmented. It's smooth like butter and glide effortlessly on the lids. It smudges though. I use this as a liner, as I don't know what else to use it for. As an eyeshadow base it's not the best. It's just too thin. Since it transfers, I just don't bother as an eyeshadow. It will crease badly. Gunmetal is pretty. A grey with teal and purple shimmer which hardly show too. The color again is not pigmented, but I like this just fine. I have my color tattoo in taupe, but I always want a lighter less intimidating color. So this is perfect. But this transfer onto my eyelid too when I use this a thick liner. I...

Jeweling Eyes in SV887

It is hard to capture the beauty of this quad. With all MM shadows, they are super pigmented, highly shimmery and. smooth to apply on the lid. I forgot how much I love MM eye shadows. They are just so easy apply. It's just so beautiful on the lid. I have oily lids, without a primer, it still goes on nicely, but at the end of the day the colors sort of blend together. So primer is definitely a must. The shadows past forever. Its shimmery is perfect for night use. I mean it's nothing wrong to use in the day, but I prefer less in the day, more matte. But ya, a bit more pricey for a drugstore brand but really worth the money.

Not a typical Liebster Award

I've been nominated for the Liebster Award and this time it's from the lovely Kazz1n . The Liebster Award is a “favorite blog award”, as Liebster is the German word for favorite, beloved, or dearest. It is meant for smaller blogs with less than two hundred followers to help expose them to the world and help them discover other new and upcoming bloggers. In order to formally accept this award, the nominee must do several things: 1. Link back and recognize the blogger who nominated them. 2. Answer the ten questions that the blogger who nominated you has posted! 3. Nominate ten other bloggers for the award. 4. Create ten questions for my nominees to answer. 5. Notify my nominees. Which is your favourite season? Autumn, perfect weather. Too bad Singapore has only 2 seasons; hot or wet. Do you prefer sweets or chocolate? Chocolate as long as it's not plain. Pixi Energy Blush

Got this beauty in no. 3 Naturally Sunny. I thought it will contain a bronzer and a blush. It looks very natural online. End up it was a blush and glow. More on the highlighter side. I don't highlight my face, so I was not so happy at first. It contains Awakening blush & highlight duo + brush. The packaging is cute. Kinda bulky, like foundation powders. But I do love the baby lime green color. It states that these pick-me-up colours will transform you from tired to on-top in a swish. Nothing brightens and awakens the fact like a flattering blush and highlighter. Use highlighter on brow & cheekbones and blush on apples of the cheeks for maximum awakening effect. I guess that's why the highlighter is more, cause you are suppose to use it on the brow too. That's my logic. The brush compartment is a pullout one. For some reason I find it really cute. Anyway, the brush is pretty dense. Not bad quality, but not the smoothest I own. For the product itself, the colors are ...

Shadow Insurance

I was debating between the Shadow Insurance and Primer Potion. No price for guessing which I pick. This wasn't as raved as the latter, and the packaging makes it more hygienic I feel. Cause it's a tube and you squeeze for the product to come out. Less contamination. Other than its packaging, this is a creamy eye primer. I used just the tiniest amount for both my eyelids. If I put just a bit more, I find that it's flaky. It just crease on me. So really a micro amount will do. It spread well over the lids. It is lighter than my lid. My lid color is kind of dark I don't know why. So it hides the veins perfectly, giving my lids a clear base to work with. As an oily hooded lid person, I can't live without eye primers. And I think I find one that will last me a lifetime.

Enfleur Refining Treatment Natural Two Way Cake

Bought this at my local beauty store, you know the one where every neighborhood will have and that's where you pretty much buy your toothpaste, shampoo and etc. They usually is cheaper than Watsons and what. So anyway the aunty recommend this powder. Never heard of the brand before, but she said it was good. Enfleur a Korean brand. I think everyone is just or is still head over heels over Korean products. Anyway I tried it. The packaging is simple enough. I like that the puff is separated from the actual powder. The packaging can be better, but no complain. There's an extra refill. The powder itself is 13g and it's silky smooth. No 23, natural beige is a bit light for my complexion but it covers well. They said: - Sheer and even application with one touch. - Absorb sweat and sebum effectively - Fits well as it minimizes the skin irritation - Diffuses light away from the fine lines and wrinkles You can use the sponge wet or dry. Never tried wetting it though. Absorb sweat, w...

Collection Lasting Perfection ultimate wear concealer

Concealer is one of the thing I appreciate most from learning makeup. Its job is to conceal which is pretty awesome. Especially if you have a lot to hide. Redness, under eyes and blemishes, all the impurity from the face. Even though if you have the confidence you won't bother hiding them. But I am no confident person. One of the problem with concealers is its lasting power. It's hard finding one that can last long. I don't mind so much with non lasting foundations but I need to conceal my zit(s). The other problem is its coverage. I find that some can blend well, but it doesn't cover. So after watching lots of UK YouTubers, I bought the Collection Lasting Perfection 16h concealer in London. So far, it is one of the best I've used for under the eyes. It does a good job hiding the black circles. It's creamy and blend really nicely. I don't really like it for spots as I prefer my Eucerin but the latter cannot last longer than 4 hours. This doesn't actual...

Laura mercier primer and tinted moisturiser

I had this for almost a year. I just did not want to use it for some reason. Thanks to the tinted moisturizer, I finally tore the foil cap and use it. I tried with the foundations I have at the moment. I tried it after moisturizer. I tried it on a clean face. The packaging said I can use either way. I like it as it is soft/watery feels like gel and just goes on easily. It is clear and gives an invisible layer to give your face a smooth canvas. It dry pretty alright, doesn't break me out. Helps to prolong my foundation. Helps to smooth out foundations making them so much cleaner and nicer overall. It is pricey, I wouldn't buy it again as I like long lasting foundation in first place. So I find that this is a redundant step. I guess it is nice for an important day or night to use a primer. But for daily, not a big fan. Oh except to cover my pores. So wait, I guess it is quite an important step. But if you have really good foundation, then you wouldn't need a primer right? But...

Acnes Sealing Jell

With trying out different products day in day out, my skin can be a mess. Especially if something doesn't work. Age do play a part, for some reason I do not have smooth skin I once used to. Then there are the occasional spots that appear and it bother me the most. It's bad enough not having the young skin you used to have, you still have to deal with spots. Ugh. This helps to a certain extend. It hurts when you put on those zits that is really bad. The one that expose the under skin. Other than that, it's just a normal clear gel. I don't feel the impact, but I know it does it job as I always wake up with smaller looking spots. If I know I'm going to breakout, I also put this on as a prevention. It helps to a certain extend. It isn't the best acne treatment but it will have to do. It just that this works for those really nasty ones. For the mild not so much. That's just for me. Cause this doesn't work on my sis at all.

Blanc Expert Neurowhite X3

Ultimate whitening hydrating emulsion moist. The SA recommended this a year ago, together with the serum. She is really nice. I like Lancôme SA from PP, they just give my samples when I have the email/messages without asking much. They even tell me how to use them with a smile on their face. A+ for customer service. They never push you to buy product too. Just tell you what you don't have, you can buy, if have then dont need it. That's what I don't get the toner as I've been using the ZA prismizer. I tried this first on its own without the serum. I really like it. It's watery, a hint of fragrance, non sticky, cute little pump for easy usage. It dries quite fast. It gives moisture to my face. If I left it alone, my face looks sort of oily. This helps to even out my skin tone, so it's great. Cause the products I bought reached a certain target, I got to get the mini travel size and some other products. This is just nice for traveling, but the packaging is not as n...

Blanc Expert Melanolyser

Whiteness activating spot eraser is a nice serum. A powerful skin refining active helps minimize pores appearance and polish skin surface to enhance its light reflecting quality. Outstanding even, fairer and luminous skin. Grey veil looks dissolved and skin is visibly refined. Dark spots appear visibly reduced. Thick and watery, its not as easy to apply. I seem to like watery product. Eh no, I like gel-like products. Anyway, it helps to combat spot marks, which a year ago is probably my biggest concern. The SA told me I have uneven skin tone which is true. So she recommended using this serum. Epidermal skin cells have the unique ability to auto-detoxify and "dissolve" skin dark agents at the origin not only of dark spots but also skin grey veil. The product feels nice on my hand. On the face, it sinks in moderately. After it dry, it makes putting moisturizer so much nicer, cause my face feels smooth. I also get the moisturizer which I'll review next, but I don't know...

Mini toner reviews

Shu Uemura vitalizing refining lotion has a kind of scent that is refreshing and girly. Very florally but not flower like. I don't know how to describe. But its the scent that make this toner different. Lancôme renergie lift volumetry really feels like you are putting water on your face. Just that it takes longer to dry and doesn't give you the refresh feeling water can. The container is good as it just pour out one droplet by one, so you won't waste the product. I feel that 2/3 drops is enough on a cotton pad to cover the whole face. Estée Lauder radiant vitality energy lotion intense moist . This is thicker than the other two. Kind of remind me of Hada Labo , the liquid consistency is like that. Smells like the vitalizing refining lotion. It's nice. Since its thick I tend to. Pour a little on the cotton, but I find that it can't cover the whole face. But pour too much, my face tend to be soaked. It's a bit too much for me. Like its just too hydrated.
