Clarins UV Plus day Screen High Protection

Light. Watery. Easy to apply. Not oily. Best sunscreen ever. Some of the words that describe this sunblock. I had to try this as they said it was the best. To me, it was just so-so. I still feel that it leaves an oily feeling on my face. True it is light, but my skin is still too moist. I have to use oil control powder to help with the shine. Don't get me wrong. I think it is just my feeling. But my face is shine free for the rest of the day. I do not have to reapply the powder. So maybe it does not give off oil residue. I do like the blend-able part. A little twenty cent coin size and I'm covered for my whole face. I just still think that there is better sun screen out there for me. In the mean time, I am glad that I just purchased the sample size and I will have no choice but to use this sun protection for the time being.

ZA Concealer perfection

This is my first ever concealer. I got this free by buying the foundation powder. Hardly use it. It doesn't give enough coverage. When I do use it, I have to apply a pretty thick layer for it to really conceal. Worked great for the first few hours, after it just feels heavy. Lucky it's free and it's pretty small. So I only use this when I have a crazy eye bag and need to get out for just a few hours. But if I am having such a great time outside, I totally forgot bout my face. So maybe is just I am not use to wearing concealer. And the fact it is creamy. Or maybe it's just the wrong shade.

U-Nuco iris multi stick

I got this in white pearl. It is just a plain white shadow/liner with a litter shimmer. Great of highlighting or the inner corner of the eyes. The only problem I have is that it crease. So I have to use primer before hand. The color is bright and will capture anyone attention as it is one showy color. I like the design as it is a just plain baby pink stick. With a twirl on either end, and you get the tip ready to use. I like how it is double sided with the bigger shadow and the liner at the other side. So versatile. I don't know where else I can buy this from though. I don't see it anywhere else.

Glitter eyeliner

It's gold. It's glittery. It's eyeliner that makes your eyes go pop! Great for party. Sometimes it is just not to strong, as the glitter is not too dense. But it sure do add a little sparkle in your eyes.

The falsies

Just one thing. I do not see any different between this and the Magnum . I think both is pretty similar. Gives the same effect. Is it just me?

Red Raspberry Lip Smacker

As the name stated it is red. Usually lip smacker gives me a nice clear coat, but this one gives me a sheer hint of red. More towards pink actually. So, if my lip is super chap, it will be super obvious. If it's a good normal day, then I will have color lips without looking too made up.

Maybelline Angelfit

Michelle introduced this product to me. She said she had been using this and it has been working out for her. We also got this for Vicky on her birthday. She never really say anything bout it, so I have no review from her. For me, this porezerobase is pretty neutral. I never really use it as a base, more like concealer. If really use for the whole face, then I will just lightly cover with powder. It's pretty runny, so it's easy to apply. The color is pink, cannot really use a lot or else face will be too moist. You will end up with smoothing it out to make sure no pink cast can be seen. Just a little is enough to cover the whole face. I have to wear make up after this, or I just don't feel right with my face. So thanks to my laziness, I hardly use this product at all. When I do want to use make up, usually is at night, so I do not need this as it contains SPF. So all in all, it is a good base as long as apply just a little.

Estee Lauder pure color

Shade 03, electric ginger shimmer gloss. As you can see the color is pretty gingery. Light orange and gold. It is more like a transparent gloss with really gorgeous shimmer on my lips. The light will capture the freckle of peach sheer and golden dust. It also taste nice on the lips. The only problem is during application, I have to keep putting the wand back into the tube to get more gloss out.

Maybelline volum' express

The magnum is probably one the most popular mascara in Singapore. Well at least among my friends. If you ask any one of them what mascara they use, they will all say Maybelline, the yellow one. I don't know what about it that just make us keep reaching back to buy them. I tried many a mascara, but whenever this is on promotion, I will grab it without hesitation. I just like it so much, but I wouldn't buy it without the sale. I guess without the sale, it is an excuse to try out other mascara out there. The magnum never disappoint me. It really do gives me the volume. Without prior eyelash curling, it gives a little curl, enough to show that you have lovely lashes. With curling, you have lashes ready to party all night. It is waterproof and stay throughout forever how long you want to use it. The brush is curve, easy to use. It doesn't clump. Makes eyelashes looks more visible without being fake or too much. Lastly, good enough for me if its the only mascara on the planet.

The body shop lychee blossom

When TBS has its usual sale, I got the lychee blossom body lotion and the eau de toilette. Smell heavenly fruity. It is pretty overpowering when you first use them. Especially in a closed room. But once you leave the room, the smell wasn't there anymore. As in it wasn't strong anymore. You have to really sniff yourself to get the hint of lychee. The body lotion is very absorbing. Doesn't leave a sticky residue behind. It is much thicker than the normal fruit series of body lotion. So sometimes under the sun, you can feel that your legs will start to sweat. (I use them on my legs.) So it gives of the sticky feeling. And in such a humid weather, it is pretty much all the time. Other than that, it's pretty moisturizing. My legs are not so scaly anymore.

Burt's bees lip shimmer

I do like this. It is the nice length, short, small and thin. It is easy to apply. Minty. Love the mint. Moisturizing, surprisingly so, considering it is so shimmery. The only problem is that the color doesn't suit me. So, I will just have to try to find a better color for me. Plus the price is a tad too ex for my liking. In Singapore, they sell in Saphora. But I got at some online shop for $8 plus 80c shipping.

ZA eyeliner

I have two of these. Brown and black. My cousin swore by it. Since I am not good at using eyeliner, I wasn't really concern. I just need them as everyone who put make up need them, but I hardly wear them. Since I am such a crier (any sad moment, tears will flow), I don't like to use liners. It smudges and run. No exception for this. The color payoff is dense enough. You don't have to sharpen them, so its low maintenance. I prefer the brown as it is not so harsh. It glides on easy enough. Lasted for at most 3 hours without primer. But most of the time I'm out for more than 3 hours. During bathroom breaks, I will check my self in the mirror, well who doesn't, and true enough the color would already be smudged. Before I really used other type of eyeliners, these are pretty decent and pretty cheap. So I wasn't complaining much. I am more worried with the application than the staying power. If you ask me, I guess I wouldn't really buy the black one again as there...

Maybelline clear smooth

Maybelline clear smooth shine free face powder comes in two shades of fresh and natural. I got natural as it is closer to my skin tone. It has SPF which is always a good thing. It helps to smoothed my face with a lightly powdery finish. I do not look so made up with this. It really does help to control the shine. At least for about 7 hours. For its price, it is one good shine free powder. I have been just using this powder, because I am lazy to put on foundation powder. But, this is enough to give the coverage I need for the day to day basis. The only thing I do not like is the puff that come with it. The casing however is too thin to be able to put any other puff in.
