The Stuff I'd Used

This is a nice mineral powder/base. It is seriously light to put on, but when you clean your face with remover, you will realized how much product got onto your skin. The coverage is very light, it just feels like you don't put any on your face. It does cover blemishes at first. Gives of a matte finish. At the end of the day though, face is back to oily mode. I don't know how much this cost, but I wouldn't repurchase it. Cause it is just something I will use cause it is there, but will not look for it if its gone. It is just too messy for my liking i guess. That's all.

I love love love Revlon colorburst lip butter. It is the perfect drugstore lip stick. Smooth, moisturizing, and leave your lips soft. I got one in Macaroon. It is a nice brownish red. When applied, it actually looked more red than the swatch. But not so red that it's intimidating to wear out under the sun. The color is fun, bright and shimmery. I feel older in this color that I decided to use this mostly in the evening. I guess I am not used to wearing loud color. I do love it though. Love it so much that i just kept reapplying every chance I got. From the picture, it looked more coral and not so bold. The picture lie, and I seriously do not know how to take good photos. So I will just have to remember this color in my mind.

There was this free sample of Cetaphil cleanser recently. Who doesn't love free sample? So I got it, even though I already have the retail size one. Anyway, this is one brand that help my panda face disappear. When I was young, I used to have unbalance skin tone. Literally black and white like a panda. Using Cetaphil moisturizer helped my skin back into one color. That was ages ago. In May, when I was in Hong Kong, this product was in the bathroom. It said for face and body. Since I did not bring my facial cleanser, I used this. I was amazed at how well it made my skin feel. Sadly it's only for the face and not the body. I do not like the dryness it gave my body. That's the strange part. My face felt less oily and more smooth. I told my mom how awesome this product is. My sister who is 10, is suffering from minor acne. So maybe we thought this will help. End up, the whole family uses it. Since it can be used for body and face, it was convenient. The verdict: my brother hate...

Compact foundation in color 011. The sponge that comes with the compact is so soft. As the name suggest, it is compact. It is user-friendly. You don't have to use your fingers to apply. The SPF 50 doesn't hurt either. Good full coverage. It is pricy though. The color is a bit dark for me. More tan, so it gives me the tan look. I guess if I want to look tan, then it is fine. Most of the time I prefer looking fairer though. I also do not know this brand exist at first. After checking out their website, they mostly work with skin care. Oh, one more thing, I keep using the mirror. I don't know why I did. There are many product with a mirror on it, but I always pick up this item. That's why I cant bear to give it away.

Rouge allure in 30 Reve. I love the packaging. Then again, it's Chanel! This nude lipstick is sheer and its the ideal everyday color without looking made up. It has more color comparing to a normal clear lip balm. Obviously. But, it is just a great nude without taking away the original color of your lips. Just makes it looking more smooth, than when you use nothing. Sadly, mine broke, as you can see from the first window of the picture. If not it will the perfect lipstick to be use and seen in class. Classier than a lip balm.

What can I say? It is an eye primer. It is the only one I have, so there is not much comparing. I do like it cause it does its job. It makes my eye shadow stay on much longer. It helps reduce the smudging. What else is there to say?

At first I love this. In the end, it gives an overly tan look. Maybe the color doesn't suit my skin, or maybe it is just the formula. Whatever it is, I can only wear this under the sun, so my face will blend in with the sun rays. Too orange-y for me. The brush that come along with this product is bad too. It is rough and will just poke your skin badly. So what at first appear as an awesome product, in the end it just doesn't deliver. Disappointing.

I heard so much about this that I had to get one. The swatch on my hand with the tester looks really good. Its nude beige with a little shimmer. Pretty opaque and the name its cute; summerlove, it's just perfect for sunny Singapore. It glides on my hand smoothly too. So I bought it and tried it. While I loved the color on my hand, it doesn't suit me at all. It made my lips look pale. While it is easy to apply, the color crack on my lips. It just made it like I have dry lips. Plus it became more pink than nude. Like frosted light pink, something Nicki Minaj would wear in her music video or like those girls from the future (where they wear white wigs and white everything). It's really sad that I can't use this. Especially how I actually like the smoothness of it. Maybe if I got it in different shade. Hmm. Nevertheless, I did try to do something with my make up to pull off using this lipstick. The only thing that work is when I tried the frosted look. Light, tan, smokey an...

This is probably the only facial scrub I use in forever that doesn't give me a break out. I know I am suppose to be using scrub like twice a week, but this is my daily facial wash. The bad thing though, it is pretty hard to get. You need to go to John Little or Robinson to get them. It used to sell in Watsons, but somehow it stop after a few months. So, I have been using others and they give me acne. Now, I am trying it again. So far, the pimples are still around. So I guess I have to wait for it to subside. I like how this give me the fresh feeling after I rinse unlike any other cleanser. The tiny beads are good for exfoliating your face, removing any dead skin cells and pores. I tried this, when I cant get my hand on the nature white facial scrub. This one is much more gentle and finer. But the feeling it gives you is different. I do not really like it. But it doesn't give me any problem too. I wouldn't repurchase this. I prefer its sister product.  Other than it is too f...

Powder foundation in O10. It gives a nice coverage. It feels light enough on your face. It is a sample. So it's small and cute. I think I like sample powder. The container is nice. Love it. Other than the packaging, nothing much to say bout this. It's pretty much the same as the YSL one. Cept a bit more cool and no SPF. So it is the perfect night time foundation powder. Just missing the mirror. :)

Pros: It smells like watermelon. It has a sheer red tint. Glossy and its small. So it is perfect to throw into your bag at the last minute. Cons: it's sticky. It's drying after some time. Cannot be found anywhere in Singapore.

Red earth beauty pro eyeshadow Black panther, satin shine I like this eyeshadow. It's one of the two black one I have. As you can see from the picture above, it isn't used much. I feel that when I apply this, my eyes pop. It was a bit more than I usually wear daily. Mostly I use the greyish black color. So when one day I used this for school, a girl commented that I look different. I guess for once she can see that I put on make up. From this picture, you can see the second swatch is with primer and the top without. And this is just a swipe. So imagine going over again, the color will be thicker. It last the whole day with a primer on. Without, pretty much too, except it smudges thanks to my oily lid. This will make a great shadow for smoky eyes. It doesn't have glitter, so it is not shiny. You can just use them over the lid to give your eyes some drama. As simple as that. Or wet it and use it as a liner. Pretty versatile.  

YSL pearly powder radiance foundation in no. 2. See picture here . Even though mine is just a sample.. Actually cause it is a sample, that is why it is awesome. It is small. Compact and convenient to bring around. It gives a good and light to medium coverage. It is light and surprisingly match my skin tone. It gives a few hours of protection from my face natural oil. It has SPF 20. Love the gold cover.

EOS in sweet mint. Minty. Glide smoothly. I use this every night before I go to sleep. Except on those days when my lips really crack, then I will use Shills lip balm . I love the minty feeling on your lips. The packaging is cute too. Round like an egg. The only bad thing bout this is sometime that it just feel waxy when it touches your lip. You have to drag it across your lips for it to work its magic. But once it is rub into your lips, it is smooth again. I am half way into finishing this product. It is no longer cute (round and pointy) anymore. It is now flat like a blunt jumbo pencil. I am wondering will it get worse. Will i be able to actually finish off this product. Oh well.
